- A new edition to the arcade line-up care of a very generous donation by one of my local friends (Aaron). A Leisure and Allied 'Lowboy' cabinet, a very popular cabinet in Australia, built to a high standard, with lots of very nice features. I also test out a Horizontal Game Elf arcade multi-cart and see if it will work in the new cab (and others).

Really nice... It's wonderful seeing all the love you give to these beautiful machines Tony.
It's nice to finally get some time, to get some of them up and running. Getting the easier ones out of the way, then I can focus on the more complicated ones. I quite like this new cab and will pretty much leave the NeoGeo One Slot in it I think.
sounds like you have some good mates! this cabs is in really good nick and the button layout is on point as well. amazing gift. i have 6 AL cabs and every one of them has terrible button layout. i like your content mate subbed.
It is a very solid unit, I mostly keep it with the MVS in there (as I like heaps of those titles), but it’s also great for playing some of my horizontal boards. It’s not super bright, but otherwise nothing else wrong with it.
Lovely looking cabinet Tony and looks like it’s it fantastic condition.
Don’t see anything like that over here in the uk so I’m quite jealous.
They are really well built (they came in a number of finishes, including laminated wood grain, but I quite like this finish). It is blue but I think it will make a nice NeoGeo cab, I am going to get a marquee, and some side art decals.
Inside it has a universal quick connection system (well that's what LAI called it) and I have a lot of wiring looms made up to the same connector layout.
Not that I have a lot of (working) horizontal boards, but the front access and PCB holder will make it easy to swap out boards so it will make a very useful unit.
I have adjusted the monitor some more so the picture is looking a lot better.
I even fixed the contrast/brightness on the sitdown Williams cocktail - dirty contrast pot of all things - now I need to adjust all the RGB pots (mostly) down, as they had been cranked up to make up for the faulty contrast by the previous owner.
NB: I am still rubbish at Ghosts and Goblins ;)
Nice multi-game arcade cab! :)
It has a really nice feel to the controls, I will probably leave the Neo Geo one slot in there now. It is quite big though, so probably some more shuffling around will be required.
Hi Tony nice stuff. Tech question: what size/type of speaker would be in this cabnet? 6watts, 10watts or higher? and is it mono or stereo?
I'll have to have a look inside the cabinet, it lists heavy duty speakers, so there must be two. I have to replace the light tube in the marquee and do a bit of tidying up. I have decided to keep the Neo Geo in there, so I am going to order a nice Marquee to match.
@@electricadventures cool, its nice cab, very unusual.
voce ainda possui os arquvos do sd para fazer backup ??
No I don't, I used my Horizontal Game Elf in a cocktail cabinet I fixed for someone, got them a Pandora Box DX to replace their Happy Game unit (graphics card had died), but it did not work with their monitor, but the Game Elf did perfectly so I swapped. Conversly the Pandora Box DX works perfectly in my cab and has a better game lineup.
