Mr. Jones you can still win with being Owner. It’s kind of a bad business from Jerry Jones knowing there are good GM’s out there with proven records from great Coaching Trees.
I mean for example , many don’t know about the coaches that come from; the Sean Payton (Dan Campbell etc), obviously Mr. Shannahan Sr., So all of the position coaches from the 2012-2013’s Washington team are now all head coaching jobs and are excelling upwards, these coaches even come with creative style of play, amazing personalities and of course Coach Kyle and Coach Mike’s swagger relates to players and im sure it’s fun and a lot easier or even the willing to listen with these young coaches who learn to adapt, like Coach McVay.
Texans OC has made CJ Stroud look like a 10 year pro, as a Cowboy fan and being 33 years old of Jerry Jones doesn’t at least step down fr GM then I’ll just be cheering for players. Texas OC (can’t think his name, Skrowski 🤔🤫i think that’s his name). I love his style and will soon be a head coach, come to Dallas next year coach if Dallas doesn’t approach at least the NFC championship or if they get the first round by then the Cowboys should at least making the Super Bowl and wining it or at least make it a great game. Maybe just maybe , this whole Dallas Team’s mess is just the journey to something greater if this year we go second to last game or to the last game and win the Super Bowl!
Now, this year do we get a sleeper QB or a QB that’s Top 10 from a small school like many great or even decent QB’s like Jimmy G who’s from 45 from my hometown, well he did decent for the Niners, it would have helped if he has CMC, CMC for MVP if Niners win or if Ravens lose.

I'm with Skip on this one. The Cowboys success in regular season has worked against them because If you aren’t going to be competitive in the playoffs, the only thing 12 wins gets you is bad draft positions and more mediocrity.

The cowboys lost that game because the defense was terrible. When you see the opposing team just move right down the field and score as a QB you start to press and force things because you fill you have to score on every drive. Dak should not have pressed but the defense didn't give him much of a choice. Dak has proven to be one of the best QB's in the league and if you get rid of Dak you won't have to worry about loose playoff games because the Cowboys won't even be in the playoffs without Dak.
GB whether below average are not was on an upward swing and won enough games to put them in that game so this was no longer a below average team coming in to Texas stadium. Proof is they almost knocked off the 49ers.
The Packers isn't getting enough credit for their upward swing that knock the Cowboys out and the 49ers was on the very end of the rope on their homefield. This should be the story line...

A big part of the problem is you players on the defense getting full of themselves hearing that they're the next Lawrence Taylor and how they were the best defense but didn't really do anything to legit competition. Dak's gotta step up and while CeeDee's mom is bumping her gums, her son wasn't catching passes either in the Wild Card game. The Cowboys should've tried to get Derick Henry or Dalvin Cook instead of just relying on Tony Pollard, too. The organization is one big soap opera/reality tv show now.

As biased as skip is, I do tend to agree with him on Dak. Maybe not moving on from him but definitely not paying him top market value. They need to put some better pieces on the team (IE more size on defense, a more physical RB to go w Pollard, a true WR2) in order to contend with these physical top teams like San Francisco, Detroit, Baltimore, KC

But the cowboys front office and coaching staff has not shown itself to be as competent as the Chiefs front office and coaching staff. They could have saved themselves this trouble twice by either extending him sooner or moving on. They did neither, and Dak's deal didn't force them to have a bad running game and a small, inconsistent defense.
It's not Dak, the O-line is getting old and needs to be rejuvenated, and we don't have big linebackers that can stop the run. Many times we were only playing with 2 linebackers in the game, hard to stop the run with just 2 linebackers
Dak is a great guy he doesn't deserve the hate he gets there are worse QBs in the league and if Dak was on another team he wouldn't get as much hate. With the amount of talent the team has had since we've had Dak, there's absolutely no excuse to not have AT LEAST made an NFC championship game. None. Good QBs win in the regular season. Great QBs elevate their game and win in the post.. Daks a great story, a good leader, but an OK QB.

Because believe it or not. Dak wasn’t all at fault for the loss. He legit was the second best Qb in football this year. You can’t win a game when your defense isn’t making stops.
I agree with Skip on the Prescott debate. Yes, other QB's that we hold in high regard have not won Superbowl's either (Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Goff, etc) but the big difference is those other guys have not had melt downs where they underperformed so many times in the playoffs. They may have lost, but all have played well in the playoffs for the most part. And Lamar and Goff are both in the Championship game this year and both playing well. The only other top 10 QB who has underperformed in the playoffs is Cousins. But he didn't have the defense or the o-line that Dak had for most of those years. As far as the Sherman argument that you can do a whole lot worse, that is true. With a bad QB you might not even make the playoffs. At least Dak has helped get them there. But for the Dallas franchise I'm not sure that's enough. Plus an argument can be made you could get someone much cheaper than Dak who might be no worse in the playoffs. Like Rush or Lance who they already have. Or a top draft pick.

That Raven Chiefs game will answer a lot of questions though, I admit. Can't wait to see it. The key will be to stop Lamar from running, and I think Andy Reid is smart enough to know that. Got to have a spy on him and keep him contained in the pocket. Easier said than done I know. But Mahomes likes to run also, and keeping him contained won't be easy either.

The problem is that they Bring up Dak's stats to say look how good he is and don't realize that he got them stats against bad teams and in garbage time, but when he played against good teams or in big games in the playoffs he is TRASH!!! STATS can be skewed to make a player look good, but it doesn't mean he is great or an elite player that can lead you to a championship or super bowl. As long as Dak remains in Dallas expect more losses in the playoffs.
