Gret demo brother I was just talking with a feller today & told him he was using to much backing. It's kinda like yer favorite fishing lure...if it works for ya you will always stick with it.
Thanks brother! For me it depends on the layout of my set or location on how much backing I use I prefer a small clunk of grass for backing. I know what you mean you always remember that first set that worked for ya
our season comes in sunday. first year trying on public wish me luck. Hope you have a great season enos! love your channel. I use a variety of these sets =D
oh wow, very interesting to see this as I've never even knew about it. I guess it's difficult to hunt for a coyote. trapping would be the way to go. I hope this helps someone. thanks for the tips and sharing. well done
People do hunt them as well but trapping I feel is the most effective way to reduce the numbers enough to eventually make enough difference to where we can tell the difference in our deer and turkey population. My goal is never to wipe anything out but to keep them in check so we can have a healthy population of all animals. Thanks brother for watching
I am gonna use latex pan covers this year, sometimes I use poly fill under the pan instead. You can buy latex pan covers from F&T trading post Or you can buy a 6yrd roll of exercise stretch bands from Amazon and then cut them to size but if you go that route make sure and get one that is unscented or Oder free.
Just something I thought about.......in the video you put your gloves on just prior to making the set for scent control, but long before you even get to the site there is equipment handling. You pack the bag, collect the traps and scents and lures as well as your tools. Then you go to the location you are setting in. Isn't touching all this stuff PRIOR to getting there or in the preparation stages defeating the purpose of wearing the gloves once you do get there?
I don’t worry too much about scent control other than keeping the lure off my hands and traps. I don’t put the lure and traps in the same bag when I’m trapping and if I’m trying to be scent free I don’t handle my traps without gloves once they’re dyed than I wax them wearing gloves. I use dedicated gloves for lure handling or I don’t wear any at all with the lure and than just wash my hands. I never handle lure and traps with the same gloves. Thanks for watching
Looking forward to your upcoming season. Great video.

What do you use for a trap pan cover

I am going to try cutting plastic groceries bags and see how that works
@user-gb7ek3vj1p that should work as long as they don’t have a smell to them
