Alex Garland's voice is like demonic honey pouring into my ears, making me crave his every word....wait, this sounds like I am in love with him. Maybe I am now. Dang you Alex!

Just watched Devs, in there, a character was on the sofa playing Dark Souls being raided by two other players, in that moment, I knew Alex was flexing his taste to the fellow gamers in his audience.

Proof that you can be super successful and be a Gamer. This Alex Garland really knows what he;s on about, specially in terms of games. I put 260+ hrs into Destiny and have a 31 Titan and a 27 Warlock yet this dude has 3 30+'s... That's insane LOL
Also anyone quick to call out Remasters can finally see why there very important as this guy bought a PS4 to play an old game he otherwise might not of played.

It's really cool to me that he's 44 years old and he's still hugely into video games. It almost feels like he's more into it than a lot of people in the game industry.

Thank you for this podcast - I love this guy's work. Now after finding out how much of a gamer he is I'm pleading on the Oculus forums for them to bring him into one of their projects.

Alex really needs to work on more video games! It'd been great if he'd worked on the original Mass Effect trilogy considering his interst in A.I. Hopefully he'll write more of them in the future.

I want to see a second film of Ex Machina. It would be wonderful if he could make a sequel. I want Ava to rescue Kaleb and the Asian robot and then together with them rescue the planet.

I WANT A SEQUAL BUT AFTER listening to alex garland its not going to happen, in fact he didn't seem that enthusiastic about it "just another film" but I think theres so many options for lots of sequals, such as kaleb escaping and helping track down ava etc.

+Alan Price Well Alex Garland is a bit humble. In other interviews he has stated he is very proud of the film, but it is meant to be a one shot. He really dislikes the idea of it having a sequel because the message of that movie was conveyed in totality and he doesn't want to force a sequel rehashing the same subject matter.

Not true at all. Alex Garland had 2 sequel scripts planned: one dealing with the origins of the city and the other featuring the Dark Judges. He was very disappointed that the film wasn't successful enough to justify sequels. www.bleedingcool.com/2012/07/08/the-judge-dredd-movie-trilogy-as-loosely-planned-by-writer-alex-garland/

I loved Dredd. but I didnt watch it until dvd release. I'am so sorry I didnt watch it in the cinema. I would love to see a sequel. but when i watched the trailers before its release I felt it was going to be a dog shit, bland action movie

da writer (special guest) is known for other movies that are sinfully boring. Much like the dude himself (in this video)
Don't get me wrong. The subject is probably interesting. Just not the way he goes about it maybe :/
