Kramer is a true friend. He chose saving Jerry's car over what looked to be a pretty good score. Each of those bags were $25-$30 worth of cans and they had dozens of bags meaning he threw away over $1000 worth of cans. Adjust for inflation in 2023 dollars thats $2000.
....except for the fact they don't pay 5 or cents a can and pay by the pound making this episode and what it says in cans and bottles complete, bullshit! Especially since they pay more for plastic bottles by the pound because they are hella light!
The weird thing is this applies to Nevada and California. So you only have to cross the border. And a family just got busted for making millions. I guess they had a bottle collection site in Nevada and transported them across the border.

I think it should stay overnight. We wanna keep an eye on it, and we wanna keep the bill running up."
They pay you by weight though, not 5 cents or 100 cents per can, So the 5 cents and 10 cents is a Lie! Getting paid 10 cents or even 5 cents a can is way more money in pounds than being paid by the pound!

There's nothing that would be suspicious about Newman, a postal employee, driving a mail truck. There would be no reason cops would think to search it. But if they just called the police, the episode would be over in 5 minutes. The whole _"Kramer doesn't want a record"_ thing was just a lame excuse the writers came up with to get around this most obvious plot hole.
The barcode needs to be visible to deposit the cans, learned that lesson flattening the cans and then trying to deposit them too 😂😅 they won't accept it at any place either apparently if theyve been fattened!

How was Kramer getting a signal all the way out there from his home phone line, you’re only supposed to get signal in a radius of about 20 meters inside your home, 30 at best. Aaaah what’s the point making sense of things wasn’t a focus in this show.
He was asking why it was 10c, instead of the 5c. even though mothers day is sunday, many people still sent a lot of mail back in the day to mom, so they needed extra trucks to transport it
Newman wasn't buying soda JUST to get money back per bottle. He was just a regular soda drinker and started saving the bottles. And Kramer made him chug all the soda that Newman already had at his home so that they can take them to the recycling center. But I do agree that is dumb cuz why chug five 6-packs of soda in one sitting to a point where it makes you sick to your stomach just to make $3? Just leave your personal soda stash out of it and drink them at your normal consumption rate.
