Damnnn takes me back growing up in the bloody Apartheid Racist days in South Afrika, such music kept our spirits up, gave us hope n vision to be free one day, here we are FREE ... Thank you Teddy Riley/Soul 11 Soul ...
Interesting. Here in NYC, the Jazzie B and Nellee Hooper Club mix is what got played on the radio. It's 2018 and this is honestly the first time I'm hearing this version, and of course Teddy Riley was huge here. Interesting.
@NYBRUH I grew up in NYC too and I remember only hearing the version you mentioned. As much as I like Teddy, the Jazzie B/Nellee Hooper version is better.
teddy 'NEW JACK SWING' riley is one of the GOAT in black music, r&b and funk and soul. but the best remixes of keep on movin' from soul II soul are the 'dub in the sun', 'the club mix' and the 'new york mix' i would say.
No idea why this came into my head today. Reminded me of soooo long ago, WGCI and how this version was on all the time. Like the CJ Mcintosh version of "Love Will Never Do". or the remixes to Lisa Stansfield's "All Around the World".
This is my vote for best version, casette singles were something I liked buying cuz it saul bout the Remix. And Pubic Enema's Takes a nation was blowing up and when the breakdown occurs with Flavor Flav on this cut I am reminded why humans rule.
I understand why you would say that, because it doesn't sound like his standard of dopeness, but unfortunately, this is true. Proof: www.discogs.com/Soul-II-Soul-Keep-On-Movin/release/445655 If you search the exact title, "Keep On Movin' (Teddy Riley's Rubba Dub)", here on UA-cam, there are other copies of it.

Teddy Riley was and still is the top producer.. he needs his flowers NOW
I remember trying to record this from the radio. Half of my attempts included the DJ talking over the intro. Good times!
Same... 😂
Ikr
I hated when that happened. LOL
Me too in highschool 2004 lol
Those were the 80s when we were trying to record songs off the radio! 😂😂
The best version. I'm glad he sharpened the key.
This something serious right here.
Yes indeed!!!💯💯💯
This the version that matters the only one I ever hear in buffalo Ny 🤷🏽♀️❤️❤️❤️🏆🏆

Favorite version of this song. It was also the version that was played on the radio the most in the United States.

In my city they played the remix and the original version equally.

Still a banger in 2021!!!! 💃💃💃
Killer tune 1luv 😎...
My 2 favorite 80 influences. So opposite in their extremes, yet tied together in common ground.

Best remix of this cut. When u bought the single "33 vinyl it was on side B.
Ricky King nice ..... still got in my crates in the Garage.
you mean the 12" ? ... 33 inch vinyl would be a big ass record .. dude you'd be bumping into shit like a wagon wheel ..
WaterfrontEnt 33 is the speed it plays at

A Classic Phrase! Epic! A Great Remix!
Just rediscovered this. Loved this version. I think it was on the mini CD single for Get A Life?
I think you may be right :)
there was another remix that sounded similar but had a real hot bridge hey use to wear out on the radio stations in Dayton ohio in 89.
Yes sir
It sounds better when u speed up the RPM on the album a little bit
Speed this version up too or is the album version slower?
👏🏽👏🏽
Looking for teddy and boy geogres' remix...the one with the tight beat! Tks
Dont Take My Mind On A Trip
TR wasn't playing on this one
🔊Check This Out
I'm sorry but no way in hell Teddy did this shit.
damn you sleeping on Teddy Riley.

love teddy riley but this is lame, the original extended club mix is the one!
As much as I like the original, this teddy riley remix hands down is way better in my opinion.
This remix is awful. The regular version is the best, and "The First Movement" mix is MAGIC.
Elbert Price
We
Elbert Price da hell wrong with you the words the beat you can't get no better... Keep it moving shit this remix will never get old
your trippin'
@@laurellflorence8197 I second that brother.
