I showed her your channel today and gave her a brief background on you purchasing your home when you were 24, and the hard work you've put into it yourself. She too felt the video was very inspiring. I just wanted to let you know what a pretty, talented, and strong young woman you are. Your Mom must be extremely proud! I have to ask, do you mow your own yard in the summer? Oh, one last thing, I love your dresses you wear every day. Your wardrobe is so pretty. Your store you work in is very lucky to have you.

I have made SO many pairs of elastic waist pants, long pants, shorts and pajamas for my sons when they were younger. Now I make them for my grandsons😊 To finish the garments and to keep the elastic in place... once the fabric is evenly distributed on the elastic, I would sew four short seams. One at the front, one at the back and one on each of the sides. This would keep the fabric from bunching up on one side when washing👌 This was a wonderful video!!!

Love your idea! I too go through our clothes and when they don’t fit, think of what I could make with the fabric. Fabric is so expensive so repurpose it is awesome. I have small grandchildren so it is easy to turn a shirt of mine into something for them. Love your hair bow!!
Beautiful floral fabric. An elastic waist band skirt was the first thing I learned to make in sewing class. I always have trouble with zippers. Darling purse👜 too. Ms. Blondie loves you so much 🐱🐾. Great video😘👗👒💄👓👡
I had an old floral also and I just threw it over the chair and tied the belt around at back and it looked good! I was surprised. Your skirt is gorgeous! The bag matching and the sweet headband looks so darling around your head as a bow too! Skills girl!
This is actually the video that got me hooked on your channel and has inspired me to finally do something with one of my dresses. Oddly enough the top is still perfectly fine, minus the lining behind the lace on the front. That I had to cut out because it had holes in it. Like you, this dress I wore alot. I loved that dress. Except, I have found that the skirt part of it, has a lot of holes in various places. I have yet to work out where they all are and then once I know. I know how much I'll have to cut off. As I do plan on putting a trim at the base of the top. It's going to have a V point both front and back, as that's the base shape of the top. Also the elastic in it is still fine, so I counted that as a bonus. It's actually black velvet that I'm going to be working with. I'm quite happy that the antique lace that is on the dress is still fine, along with the ribbons that are on it. I really like how your skirt turned out. That is a really pretty fabric.

You've done something I've wanted to try for ages and worried so much about making a mess of things, but I'm now going to really have a go as I've a few dresses that I just can't let go of because the print is so pretty.
