@@RocketRod63 I think you'll find that's not correct. The combination mass will be exceeded by having a 100kg human driving it. This 3500kg towing capacity is a load of bullshit for all of these passenger vehicles. The only thing that can legally tow that kind of weight is an actual truck.
@@dinosshed yes you’re correct. I just over simplified everything. GCM is 6400kg. GVM is 3280 so amount you can tow is 3120kg. Realistically you just have to work within the parameters to suit your needs. I agree the towing capacity quoted by all of these manufacturers has to be taken with a grain of salt 👍
@@dinosshed The Ranger sure can tow 3500 kg legally. GCM is 6400kg. Van weighs 3500kg and the ranger weighs 2353 empty. That leaves 547 kilos before the GCM is exceeded. The 350kg ball weight comes off of the Rangers GVM which is 3350kg. That leaves 547 kilos you can put in the ranger before you go over the GCM. Two people, a tank of fuel and you will probably have around 260kg left for what ever. Not much left but the Ranger can tow 3500kgs.

What is the remaining payload capacity when towing 3,500 kg?
Payload is 949kg for the XLT so subtract the trailer weight on the tow ball the balance is what is able to be loaded into the vehicle.

Are the seats electronic in both or manual?
Sport has electronic driver seat, XLT is manual..

None. Remote start is via the Ford app……very slow 😬
Specs still not universal. XLT has always come with leather seats. Don't know what happened here
