In my final year of high school we couldn't go to assemblies because of covid restrictions. Instead they would automatically stream a half prerecorded/live assembly to all the smart boards, tvs etc in the school. The issue was that they always chucked this countdown in before it started, so with 15 minutes left of our 55 minute periods the teacher would lose control of any screen they were using and this would be blasted at us at deafening volume from just about every speaker in the school. I never understood why they did this either. We didn't have a massive obnoxious countdown for anything else. All in all good stuff.
