New Covenant Whole Gospel: What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below. Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him. He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth. Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. that was an hour of enlightenment. I never really understood all the different terminologies of the ism's but I have a much clearer understanding now of what is going on. Thank you for sharing this.
Instead of using scripture to backup/explain scripture, dispensationalist like using bible study books, i.e. The Scofield study bible, which reinforces their "pre-trib" doctrine. I prefer to use scripture only.
Scripture only? I like that! But are you being honest with us? WHEN have you you actually really really looked into the Bible to check out Covenant Theology? Ask Google Assistant to show you Roman Catholic Covenant Theology. Then you will know where Calvin got it from . Then look in Genesis to find where it says that God promised Adam righteousness and eternal life for Adam and for his descendants for his successful abstinence from eating that fruit. Then try to find in the Bible where it says that Adam's law "continued to be a perfect standard of righteousness" until Sinai. And then figure out how that was possible when nobody had access to that tree because it was locked and guarded in the garden. Think about that stupidity. Then find in that Sinai law that commandment to Adam. The problems only get worse. Covenant Theology was copied from the R. C. Church. But it was made up. Fiction. It is designed to turn the grace gospel into law works. The Cov. Theo. Violates the Romans ch. Three standard that the gospel is about "righteousness without law" not by the works of the law. But Cov. Theo. obligates Jesus to earn our righteousness and eternal life "by His active obedience by His works of the law". covenant Theology violates Rom. Three.
Joel, the progression of knowledge reminds me of Daniels words saying how knowledge will increase in the last days….knowledge of the eternal plans of the Lord, just as Dalton has presented in previous sessions.
And non Dispensationalist are ignoring the Truth of the Word and making up their own doctrine. As a (Hyper, as I'm sometimes called) Dispensationalist, I get to believe Scripture as it written, changing nothing, ignoring nothing.
I align myself with Calvinism and reformed theology. You have swung me to the post-trib rapture with your efforts to walk us through it using correct scriptures. As someone who does not like the charismatic movement, as I know you are involved in, i really respect that you do not saturate your messages with it. You just stay with the scriptures, leaving out the charismatic/Pentecostal things that I do not align with my spiritual walk in Christ, which helps me just focus on the topic at hand; rather than continuing to war against the denominations. This is ABSOLUTELY what all of us should be doing as we reach out to world in the great commission. This is the only reason why I would consider watching you and I’m glad you are mature enough as a minister of Christ to do so. Keep up the great work, sir! You have made a huge difference for me.
The absurdity of this position is astounding to me. ALL of you believe in dispensations. If you believe in a divide between the OT and NT then you believe in a dispensation right there. If you believe we are under grace today and nit under the OT law then you believe in a dispensations right there. The biggest problem of all is you have no explanation at all for entire sections of the Bible because it simply will not work with your theology. You basically have to ignore large section of the Bible because you don't know what to do with them. For example tell me what is going on in Ezekiel 36-39, tell when this this was fulfilled and when this war happened. And AFTER you do than then tell me what Ezekiel 40-48 is talking about and when this happened. That is but one example and there are countless others I can points to like Zechariah 12 and 14, and Jeremiah 30-33, entire chapters in Isaiah, Joel, Psalms, Micah, Zephaniah and countless others. Just start with Ezekiel 36-39. EXPLAIN THIS TO ME AND TELL ME WHEN THIS WAS FULFILLED under your theology.
@@ExperienceEric I have to look back over this later but I certainly agree that the OT cannot be ignored. It is vital to understanding of the writings of the NT.
@@ExperienceEric It sounds like you are grieved about something. It is easy to demand explanations without really submitting your own bulletproof analysis for similar scrutiny. If you have listened to many of Joel's sessions (and those of Dalton) then you would know that they are open with these studies. They exhort us to be like the Bereans, who studied to see what Paul said was true. They are not imposing their theology onto you or anyone. They are not dogmatic. They are seeking truth through the Scripture in a manner that demonstrates that they think carefully and analyse each portion in context.

A Millennium Puzzle to solve… Will Christ be conducting funeral services for mortals killed in accidents 500 years after His Second Coming? The “first resurrection” in Rev. chapter 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation, because the two witnesses are resurrected from the dead in chapter 11. There are two different types of resurrection in John chapter 5. There is a spiritual resurrection from the dead in John 5:24, and a bodily resurrection from the dead in John 5:28-29. Does your view of the Millennium agree with what Paul said in 2 Thess. 1:7-10, when Paul said Christ returns in "flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not obey the Gospel? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Peter said in 2 Peter 3:10-13, when Peter said this earth is going to burn and "dissolve" when He comes as a thief on the day of the Lord? The fire comes at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Paul said in 2 Tim. 4:1, when Paul said both the living and the dead will be judged at His appearing? The time of the judgment of the dead, with reward for some and destruction for others is found in Rev. 11:18, right after the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible. (This verse also proves the Book of Rev. is not in chronological order.) The judgment of the dead is also found at the end of Rev. chapter 20. Does your view agree with what Jesus said in Matt. 25:31-46, where He described the judgment of the sheep and goats, which leaves no mortals alive on the planet at the end of the passage? There are also no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Rev. chapter 19. Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Does your view agree with what John recorded in Rev. 9:1-2, when an angel comes down from heaven with a key to unlock the pit, which means the pit was locked before that time? Are there wicked angels already in the pit in Rev. 9:11? John recorded angels already "bound" in Rev. 9:14. The beast "ascends" out of the pit in Rev. chapter 11, which means the beast was in the pit before that time. Take all of the above and compare it to the symbolic language found in Rev. chapter 20, and the fact the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order, and you will have the truth.
@@markusandrew777 The irony is that dispensations is the one and only view that actually has no "interpretation" lens at all. Its the most direct plain reading of the text of all views. Its these other view where you have to add a "lens" to make work. For basic dispensationalism, all you have to do is read these chapters and believe what they say. When we are talking about basic dispensationalsim, what we are talking about is the understanding that huge portions of the Bible make clear God is not finished with the nation of Israel and is going to do a great work with them and bring them under the New Covenant during the great tribulation (Time of Jacobs Trouble) and Jesus will reign over the whole earth from Jerusalem in the 1000 year Kingdom. That is just a plain reading of the text, its requires no lens or special formula at all. The Bible just says this plainly over and over and over and over again. Its all these other views where they have to add a lens and say "yeah it says that but its does not mean it, it secretly means xyz instead."
@@markusandrew777 The "spottervideo" guys comment is a perfect example of reading scripture through a lens. He has this whole convoluted system he crams the scripture through to make his view work to come up with explanations that turn Revelation and most of the OT prophets into total and completely incomprehensible gibberish.
@@markusandrew777 Brother, neither pre, mid or post trib rapture aren't clearly defined enough in a literal reading of scripture which is why people are so over the map on this. The rapture is the resurrection of the Saints in Christ and there is no mention of a Resurrection in any of the 2nd coming passages. Not in Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Revelation 19 or Zechariah 14. Post tribbers add it in but its simple not in any of those texts. Putting it there is not a literal interpretation. Don't even get me started on mid trib, its is obviously not literally written in the text anywhere they claim it is. They add it in and say its because of yada, yada. Same with pre trib, there are biblical arguments you can give for it but its not implicitly stated enough to convince everyone. But pre tribiltion rapture is a secondary issue to dispensationalism. The core of basic dispensations is the understanding that God is not finished with Israel and will bring them under the New covenant in the tribulation and reign from Jerusalem over the whole earth in the 1000 year Kingdom. The meaning of the word in the Bible refers to how God deals with people in a certain time period. The OT law was one dispensation, the Age of grace and New Covenant is a different dispensation. That is how the Bible uses the word, its not directly connected to pre trib. The reason dispensationalists are usually pre trib is because pre trib fits with dispensationalism way better than the other 2. But basic dispensations are a fact of scripture, those who reject them have no explanation for large portions of the prophets both in the OT and NT. They totally contradict those other views in a way that makes them incomprehensible gibberish. Thus they never talk about them and avoid them at all costs if the topic comes up.
I’m 55 this month and this is the first time someone has captured my thoughts about the fictitious rapture. I felt that I was defective both because I was saved as a single mother in the single mother hating American 1990’s and was in college and read my Bible. I saw suffering coming and I was persecuted in college for my faith. Joel and Dalton are using scriptures I have thought about each time I was presented rapture. My life is social isolation and persecution in the university contradicts the social club pre-trib rapture church. I was living the biblical reality but the church social club could not relate to me b/c I wasn’t getting rich and the persecution sent the message that I was doing something to cause the problems because anyone who knew God would be happy, married, and rich, in Jesus hands. Thank God someone is talking about the reality of what I read and how the world reacts to the Spirit of the Living God.

@bren5810 I am sorry for you, that some false teacher has led you astray, friend. Thank you for your hard work putting all these videos out here for us to find and watch. They are very helpful to me as I continue to grow in my sanctification in Christ.
Basic dispensatinalism recognizes that both Jew and Gentile WHO ACCEPT CHRIST are one body, not two separate groups. There is no separation at all between them, they are all one group and all God's people. But that is the very reason people will reject it, they think we are saying the complete opposite of that. No, that is not what is being said at all. When we talk about the differences between the Church and Israel and God's fulfillment of his promises to Israel in prophecy we are not talking about events that happen in the church age. We are talking about events that happen AFTER the church age ends and in the Kingdom age (millennial reign). None of this applies to people (Jew or Gentile) in Christ living in the church age. We are one body in Christ and that is our ETERNAL state in New Jerusalem in Heaven. This applies to people not yet born who will be living in the Millennial Kingdom on earth following the return of Christ. The church age is not the eternal state, it has a very definitive end point in the Bible. And many events follow it according to scripture. The latter half of Revelation is one obvious example but there are countless entire chapters on this in the Old Testament. Its also a misunderstanding about the support for modern Israel. It has nothing to do with being critical or not being critical of modern Israel. Modern Israel is not saved, they have rejected Christ and rejected God and are in fact extremely wicked in His eyes. They cannot save themselves by rebuilding a temple and getting back to sacrifices under the OT law (through the NT clearly says they will try in the tribulation). Their one and only path to redemption is through Jesus Christ alone. But scripture says that God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse them, and though they are enemies of the Gospel they are still beloved for the Fathers sake. Maybe that will begin to help clarify some of this. Its ALWAYS the same basic misunderstandings that divide some people on this. When people begin to understand what is being said on this and then go back to fact check it in scripture, they tend to get in line with it very quickly because its undeniable in scripture. To deny it means you have to basically tear entire sections out of your bible and flush then down the drain because they are meaningless and massively contradictory. This perfectly clarifies and brings to life all those sections of the Bible people tend to avoid at all costs and never open and read.
@@ritasalemme89 Incredibly silly comment. No matter your rapture view it takes nothing away from worshiping God. In anyone is distracted its all the people attacking pre tribbers these days. Hard to worship God when all you do is attack people for their rapture view.
I personally don't go around attacking people regarding what I consider pre-tribulation nonsense. Its just my understanding that we will be expected to participate in THE WAR against the unseen EVIL that plagues us. I actually worry about the people that wholeheartedly believe in a pre-tribulation. What happens to them psychologically when it doesn't happen?!
@@luciparadise6781 Maybe you can explain Rev 3:10 and Luke 21:36. Or Zephaniah 2:2-3. Your are supposed to be participating in the spiritual war RIGHT NOW, not waiting for the antichrist to show up. There is not a single verse in the entire Bible that tell you to go to war against the anitchrist. NOT ONE. Its Jesus who brings the war at the 2nd coming. And while you at it explain how you can be saved by faith but have to earn your salvation by going through the great tribulation. I'm all ears if you can. I'm open to it but I have yet to hear anyone give a explanation that makes since without just flat out rejecting such verses. The idea that you are a better or stronger Christian because you believe in a mid or post trib rapture is rather silly and prideful.
I believe that true Israel, the Israel that will be saved, will all be believers in Christ. Both Jewish Believers and Gentile Believers make up true Israel, the Israel of God (Gal 6: 12-16).
The true Israel, the Israel of God must be saved. But they must be Israel. To be a saved German, I must be saved. But a Frenchman, even if he is a saved Frenchman, would not make a saved German. And neither a saved Frenchman or a saved German would be good saved Jew. Being saved is necessary. But to qualify as saved Israel you must be saved and you must be Israel. Saved martians cannot be the Israel of God or Spiritual Israel. Gentiles as the Israel of God is crazy talk.
Gentiles are grafted into the true vine. We are a branch in the vine. However, the OT tells us that a remnant of current unbelieving jews will repent and mourn when they see the Son of Man coming in the clouds. I believe this remnant will be among those who enter the millennium and populate it
You are absolutely correct: Romans 10:8-13; Galatians chapters 2-3; Ephesians 2:11-3:12; Rom. 2:28-29; 3:21-22; Matthew 3:1-10 & Matthew 21:33-43; 1 John 2:20-23; 1 Peter 2:4-10; Philippians 3:1-3
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV - All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. This would include Matthew 24.
Yeah, I've been in discussions with pre-tribulationists lately and I brought up the resurrection in Isaiah 26 and the one alluded to in Isaiah 52. I view understanding the resurrection to be of utmost importance since 1st Thessalonians 4 says the dead are raised first, and then those still living will be caught with them to meet the Lord in the air. I talked about Isaiah 52:10-12 possibly being the rapture and I was told that I can't use the book of Isaiah to try and understand the resurrection or rapture. It's not a book for us (church). The number of books in the Bible I can read and learn from is ever decreasing according to pre-tribulationists. I've even had some tell me I cannot read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. They say only the Pauline epistles are for the church despite the fact that we can see that Peter learned from Paul and undoubtedly vice versa. 2nd Peter 3:15 I use to think that this was just difference of opinion, but ever increasingly I see the proponents of pre-tribulationism and its leaders holding onto this doctrine and either avoiding debates entirely or attacking anything which refutes it with extreme hostility... and at all costs. They are even creating new doctrine to help support pre-tribulationism. I hear many say now that there's several resurrections and several raptures. Maybe you've heard the wheat harvest, barley harvest, grape harvest and all the others that they've come up with? Although Ephesians 1:10 says everyone in Christ will be gathered at the same time, both those in heaven (the dead) and those on earth (the living). Hebrews 11:39-40 agrees and says even old testament saints going all the way back to Abel have not received the promise yet. God has provided something much better, that they should not be made perfect apart from us. All are made perfect together once the fullness has come in. There is a spirit within them that knows the lie is being uncovered and it doesn't want it to be uncovered. I have to wonder why? But then I read Matthew 24:4-5, 23-25 and I think I start to understand. If you think Christ will come any sooner than what He told us in Matthew 24, then you will be open to being deceived by a deception so great that, if possible, it would deceive even the elect. What I take from that statement is that without God's intervention, everyone would have been deceived. It's that powerful of a deception.

@laurarussell2415 If you are inferring that Jesus was talking about the church in Matthew 24, study it more carefully. Sort out what is meant for Israel, and what applies to believers in the church. If you take it out of context, you will never understand it.
All scripture Except you cannot know that any of it is true. God might explain it away as a preterist. God might say that eternal life already happened . Too late to get any of that. And maybe it was given to someone else. And none of the Scriptures mean what they say. When you get to the new New testament, everything is allegorized away.
I believe that the "Bible" is the "word of God" from God. There's no question asked from man concerning the salvation of man that the scriptures do not answer. Proverbs 25:2 is in mind here. Much I want to say here, so let's share a meal one day and answer some of these questions, ok. Maranatha!

One of the features overlooked by the adherents of dispensationalism is its claim that certain prophetic events are yet to be fulfilled in the future which implies that Jesus cannot return at this very moment because these so-called events have not yet taken place. A second claim is that God saved man in different ways at different times. This claim by Darby contradicts the statement in Hebrews that says that nothing ever pleased God except faith (Hebrews 11:6). Some dispensational teachers have recognized this problem and are trying to distance themselves from this heretical view by contradicting Darby. And many dispensational teachers contradict each other to the point of violent accusations.

Like I said, become well-read and a responsible student of Scriptures, then you can engage with others with substance and intelligence, instead of resorting to mindless putdowns.
Ok, so I’m NOT crazy. I’ve been trying to sort through all of this and seeing everything you spoke about in this video, but I thought I was the only one. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me make sense of all this!
Knowledge of truth is the primary safeguard against deception. The elect must know, and they must learn to test and prove the spirits until they do know what is of God and what is of Satan. The words of the Master, Take heed, I have told you, plainly imply that personal knowledge of danger is part of the Lord's way of guarding His own. Those who blindly rely upon the keeping power of God without seeking to understand how to escape deception, when forewarned to take heed by the Lord, will surely find themselves entrapped by the subtle foe. It's so important to get revelation from the scriptures and not man, or the traditions of man!
You must know who your enemy is, which is the enemy of Messiah and God (Psalm 2) and how the hierarch of satan on this earth works. Esau prints the money and makes the rules. And the whole world will follow after the beast. Rev 13.3
The demons believe there's far more to it. You must understand that to believe is to come under the authority of and to hear and obey. There are many commands and requirements that Jesus gave us. Read all the red letters
@@pierrelabounty9917 Too many have gone that far in the opposite direction. Resurrection has practically dropped from the modern church's vocabulary even though it was a focal point of Jesus' ministry. This term was completely absent in this hour long video for example. Time to course correct back to the gospel message.
Resurrection is NOT the Biblical word. Please look at 1 Thess. 4:17 where the word is CAUGHT UP not resurrection. This term CAUGHT UP was translated from Greek into a Latin word which has been approximated into the English word RAPTURED. It is a concept related to resurrection but different. As much as you might be uncomfortable with this concept, there MUST BE an actual PHYSICAL PHYSICAL CATCHING UP at some time of the Church saints living at that time to join those dead Church saints then being raised. Paul presents this as an actual PHYSICAL future REALITY. This catching up, this rapture must happen. If your system doesn't have room for it then your system is wrong. But you cannot happily wish it away. Not in Biblical Christianity.
@@JosephBoxmeyer You are conflating Biblical terms with man's ideas and interpretations. I Cor 15 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Death is not yet conquered, but it will be; Through the resurrection from the dead at the last trump. II Cor 12 1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. 5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. Jesus was caught up.....he was resurrected. Heb 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. If you are to receive salvation then you will be resurrected as well. Only after shedding your mortal coil: I Cor 15 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Resurrection of the dead is one of the six principles of the doctrine of Christ...kinda important. Heb 6:1-3
I agree with you in some parts. I don’t agree with other Christians who believe that our Lord Jesus will be sacrificing bulls, lambs etc during the so called *millennial kingdom* His is the Only sacrifice God the Father has already required. Lord Jesus is being slapped in His Face by such a teaching of Him doing sacrificing. I believe we're in the Millennial period now. Jesus reigns in those who accept Him as the True King. When He returns it will be in total judgment over all those who rejected Him as Lord.
So, what do you do with the Bible texts that prophecy those sacrifices? The "so called millennial kingdom"? Rev. Ch twenty says it only six times. That was Jesus telling John. But Jesus is "only the so called Lord"? And during this kingdom that you are going through, is the Devil deceiving? And since you already went through the tribulation, tell us about that. Not nearly as bad as Jesus "the so called Lord" told us that it would be? And the King is ruling inside of you? Do you tell people He's over here, inside of here?
How can we possibly be in the Millennial Kingdom now? If you read all the descriptions of that time, it’s completely different. The devil is very active today, busy deceiving the nations all around the world! Is there peace in the Middle East today?
That was a great presentation. It's really interesting to see all of the debates that various groups have. The diversity of beliefs and opinions...pre-trib vs post trib, amillennial vs pre-millennial etc is actually a good thing. Especially in the light of world events. It just shows that you can't read the Bible alone in a bubble nor simply listen to one person or chain yourself to only one interpretation. Otherwise your beliefs and perceptions may at some point be shaken up...which I suppose is part of the fun... You can already see the old structures breaking down and everyone deciding what resonates with them. The more ideas we discuss and the more doctrines we compare, the more you realize that we are all one and children of God and eventually, even the doctrines we love to debate won't matter. The only reason we're here on this Earth is to extend love to each other.
@@ExperienceEric I do understand about the ages...in just about every culture there are cosmic and planetary cycles of time that help mark the present age and foreshadow events to come. Right now the earth is experiencing an intense period of solar flares that are bringing more light to the planet as well as taking us through an area of the universe that we've never been to before...exposing us to cosmic radiation and as a result elevating our consciousness with all of the physical and spiritual light flooding the planent. These changes are helping to bring about the New Jerusalem spoken about in the Bible that represents the new world descending from Heaven or in other words coming from the heart. Some also call it the Fifth dimension or the age of Christ where we recognize that there is no separation between the Father and his Sonship or creation. We are all sovereign beings of light and one body in Christ. In many ways The Eternal Age is already here as time is an illusion given to us for the purpose of learning how to use it constructively. That's why I don't feel it's necessary to get lost in all of the various doctrines because we should just focus on teaching and extending love where ever we go.
@@ernestbailey6617 Dear friend, I consider Jesus or Jeshua to be my brother and my teacher. To be born again means to be awakened once again to the reality of who you really are as a begotten and beloved child of God and an eternal being of light. We tend to forget that when we come to the earth plane.
That sounds New Age not Christian because we known by history and forensics Jesus is God. He sacrificed Himself for the sins of the world. He is the Passover Lamb, which name is still visible in the flax linen burial shroud that was gifted Him. Living for Him means putting God in first place in your life. When we are born again, there is a drastic change in us, we forsake all to do His work.
I think its helpful to realize that this Greek form of teaching was alive even when the apostles were still alive- thats why Paul and John often exposed Gnosticism in their letters- I wonder if thats why Peter and some of the other brothers were reluctant ( even after his experience with Cornelius) to fully except Gentile believers..
Also, in Daniel he is told to “seal up the prophecy, because it’s not for this time but for the time of the end” it’s this principle that allows for the idea that there are certain Biblical interpretations we wouldn’t fully understand until right before the end.
Correct, in contrast to Daniel, John is told to not seal up the Revelation because the things that were to occur were to happen soon because the time was near. I believe that to be the end of the Old Covenant system, completely closed in AD 70.
What did history say about pre-tribulationalism? Irenaeus (AD 130 - 202) “Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the word justly reckons “as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance - in fact, as nothing;”(1) so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces towards the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. Yeah those quotes are well out of context. And some of those, by Lee brainard, even have their quotes changed. Lee brainard is a liar. I disagree. You misrepresented amillennialism as being a theology coming from Greek philosophy when it comes from the Bible itself. There is no mention of a "literal earthly millennium reign" found anywhere in the New Testament. Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, and John never described such a thing. John never states it is a "literal earthly millennial reign" in Revelation 20. You would think that if Jesus would be literally reigning with His people for a 1000 years, at least some of the writers of the New Testament would write about it. Peter seems to give a another interpretation of millennial reign in the passage below as he describes this age and the age to come. 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance,10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:8-13 As for replacement theology. The church is the fulfillment of the promise given to Abraham and it is actually called "fulfillment theology" as it faithfully follows God's provision and promise kept from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The true people of God/Israel are those who are "the children of the promise" which is comprised of both ethnic Jews and gentiles who have "the righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ." God is not a respecter of persons. 6But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” 8That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. 9For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.” Romans 9:6-9 28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” 31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. Galatians 4:28-31 27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Romans 3:27-30 26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29
I disagree with amillennialism, and I agree with the idea of a 1,000 year physical earthly reign of Yeshua on earth from Jerusalem, but I agree with you about fulfillment theology and I abhor the antagonistic term "replacement theology"
@@educational4434 Yet again, there is never a mention that the 1000 years reign is literal and physically on earth in fact most of the evidence in the New Testament would say it isn't a reign here on earth but rather a spiritual reign.

I was beyond frustrated listening to this. Then I read the fan club comments. I watched this with the sincere intention of hearing the other side. I inadvertently backed into dispensationalism through teachers like Chuck Missler and Steven Barnett. I am always interested in opposing views, and didn’t realize dispensationalism was controversial until recently. So after seeing a few of these videos appear on my feed, I wanted to listen to them to determine if what I believed was correct. Unfortunately, none of the videos actually use scripture to build a case. The reasons are the same. It wasn’t taught before Darby. They take the Bible too seriously. Darby was contemporaneous with Mary Baker Eddy and Joseph Smith, so they must be a cult. Can anyone point me to a video critical of dispensationalism that primarily uses scripture? And btw, Ive never heard of Olive Tree Theology as a system. Did Origin come up with that?
For me- reading Matthew 24 carefully was a simple way to understand the end of history. HE never mentions any type of rapture until the end of the great tribulation when the ressurection and rapture occur simultaneously. I simply look at all other attempts at re timing the rapture as foolishness. Christ pin points the rapture timing without any doubt in Matthew 24. All the references in the new testament epistles mention the resurection ALSO being at the same instant as the rapture as Christ explains in Matthew 24 so simply. The fact that this has been the churches position until the 1800s when Darby- Scofield changed it, makes this topic self explanatory.
@@JosephBoxmeyer I Thessalonians 4- Paul describes HIM bringing the dead in Christ back with Him when He returns for His Church. This ties the resurrection to the rapture as ONE event! That event being the Day of the Lord where all men are judged and things put in order at the end. This rules out any rapture separate from the ressurection. Christ tells us in Matt 24 exactly when the resurrection and rapture occur, and they occur at the same time with the dead in Christ preceeding those "alive and remaining" at the end of the tribulation. You would have to TRY to get this simple fact wrong. Which is why for 2,000 years the scholars have ALL held the post trib view and never knew anything about a pre trib rapture.
Can you please explain what your biblical understanding to 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5? I’m a pre trib believer but I’m also wanting to be very teachable. 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 do not align according to your teaching against a pre trib from what I understand.. It’s hard for me to understand these verses any other way than a pre trib theology. Especially seeing how things are progressing in this world, and seeing it all from a biblical world view, and advancing at such an increased pace, as scripture teaches in regards to birth pangs.
Joel believes the day of the lord is a period of time, rather than a singular day, which is what pre trib agrees with. 1 thess 4 and 5 are connected to each other rather than separate. 1 thess 4 is concerning their fears that the dead would not rise again. He comforts them by saying that the dead would I deed rise again and that we should believe this due to our belief that Jesus rose again as well. Chapter 5 is a continuation of this discussion, and starts off with, depending on translation it essentially says "but moreover" or "but about" which means the topic continues from previous as he is directly referencing backwards to it. He says "but about those times and seasons" now what times and periods is this about? The times and periods of when this day would come when we would be taken up! He says they know about these times and periods in what they would be like when the day comes, as opposed to them not knowing something else. What is the something else that they did not know? What he was just assuring them in chapter 4, that the dead would riseagain one day just like jesus did! This is most probably due to them having heard jesus' prophecy of the Olivet discourse which specifically discusses the gathering of the elect at his coming. This would make sense as to why they were afraid of not seeing the dead again, as they only believed the alive would be rewarded with jesus. To reiterate, this is why paul states in verse 14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus" To continue, in chapter 5 after reminding them they already know about the times that would come with the day of the lord, he begins his speech about the thief in the night. He says wheb they shout peace and safety, sudden destruction will come upon THEM the unbelievers. Now, pre trib will say this means it couldn't possibly be during or after the 7 years when it happens because there would already be so much destruction. Of course, this line of thought would only make sense then if the rapture occurred during a moment of total complete peace, so if pre trib took this consistently they would have to claim the rapture could not even happen right now because there are hundreds of wars around the world. A simple explanation would be that there is a moment of calm during the 7 years in the 2nd half. This would explain why the 2nd seals war seems to end in the 4th seal. The war ends before the martyrdom of the 5th seal even begins! Then in the 6th seal you will notice the following; "and they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the sight of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" Do you see that they were only now hiding in the mountains? They know that what is now IMMINENT is a far far greater destruction than even the first 4seals could muster. This would match up with the moment of peace declared when it occurs. Notice the last part of that passage? "Wrath of the lamb" "day of their wrath has come" The day of wrath has not even begun at this moment! this is the impending sudden destruction about to begin. This is what joel and pre wrath believes. You will notice that the signs of the 6th seal also match up with the signs of matthew 24: 29-31. Now, pre trib says oh this is after the tribulation. but one problem. The bible NEVER says the tribulation and 7 years are the same thing and as long. the "tribulation"only begins at the abomination and it never says it ends at the end of the 7 years. Jesus says in matthew 24 : 22 "but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short" He Does not cut them short for everyone. ONLY the elect. Therefore he comes early, at the end of the tribulationn which is the period of time from the mid point to before the end of the 2nd half when the believers are persecuted. Who are the elect? The believers. Anybody who truly believes. 2timothy 2:10, romans 8:33 Now look at the thief in the night parable again. Where are the people who become believers after the day comes? Nowhere? Look at noahs ark parable in matthew 24. He entered the ark and they did not know until it took them ALL away. They all got destroyed. Anyone saved? Look at the good and evil slave. The master came and.the evil slave was cut in two..anyone saved? "Gnashing of teeth" this is from the bowls judgement. Now to conclude. Compare 1 thess 5 to Revelation 16: 15 ("Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and people will not see his shame.”) Does this sound like the thief in the night is at the beginning, or towards the end? Pre trib essentially has to ignore this verse and basically treat it like an Easter egg add on to a movie that does nothing but amuse the audience. Pre trib has to explain why nobody seems to be saved after he comes for believers in any parables. Now, if you managed to read all the above, thank you. This is but a piece of the evidence. Above all, it does not matter as long as you truly believe. now, how do you know you really believe? Do you dedicate yourself to God? And if you do is it out of love or like a point system? Do you treat people right, whether it be face to face, online or behind their backs? Do you try to help people with advice, acts of charity, spread the gospel? If so, is it because you have a genuine desire to do so or because you feel guilty about something? do you preach to strangers or only to people you care about? Faith produces works. Not because you "have" to but because you would want to. Test yourself so you are not like the seed on rocks that had no foundation and despite receiving the gospel with joy, withered away when troubling times came. Hope this helped.
The globalists at the "World Economic Forum" have said by 2030 you will own nothing, and you will be "happy". Meanwhile many in the modern Church claim we do not need to be concerned about global government. The truth is found below. What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine? Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it. The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. "It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view." (The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation? RAPTURE [Under Attack]", by Tim LaHaye, copyright 1998, Page 197.) Tim LaHaye was co-author of the “Left Behind” books and movies which have convinced millions of modern Christians that the Church age ends seven years before the Second Coming of Christ. Recently, Pastor Matt Furse of Mountain View Baptist Church in Custer, S.D. has written a book titled “Which One Is Right?’, which reveals the recent history of the pretrib rapture doctrine, and the fact it does not agree with what is written in the King James Bible. The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected. The Greek words for “wrath” and “tribulation” are not the same word, as proven by the verse below. Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Watch the UA-cam video “Pretribulation Paradox” by former pretrib believer skydiver626.
One very popular pastor describes 1 Thess as the pretrib rapture and 2 Thess as the second coming of Jesus Christ. Read Thess 1 and 2 in context, and you will see this pastor is wrong. Paul is speaking about the one and same event. Nowhere does he say anything about a pretrib rapture. I was taught pretrib until I started studying in depth and after listening to this pretrib pastor actually convinced me against a pretrib rapture.

Most faithful and reborn followers of Christ just stick to one book and that's the Holy Bible. This video is just bragging individual intellect and no spiritual knowledge or understanding at all. Thank you for giving the perspective and insight into the influence of Greek philosophy on the Gentile Church leaders when Constantine turned the Roman Christians against the Jewish believers and the Jews as a people. What a terrible blot on church history! I hope the current generation of Gentile believers have each individually repented for the sins of the church during 350AD to approximately 1900AD. A dispensation of blindness for sure.
I’d like to ask a question: Do you hold the belief that “THE PROPHETIC CLOCK STOPPED?” According to this popular view, God’s clock ran flawlessly for 69 weeks (483 years). Then suddenly the clock stopped and has not ticked once since.
That's what scripture indicates. The last week of 70, which is 490 yrs, stopped at 483. Which leaves 7 yrs or 1 week of days left to be fulfilled in Revelation
The entire 70 weeks ran flawlessly.....it makes a mockery of the scriptures to detach the 70th week and throw it 2000 years into the future. Good grief.
I was just starting to listen to a David Pawson teaching on this. I have been wondering about this issue as it keeps coming up everywhere recently. It all seems so mixed up with replacement theology and other doctrines that are not biblical. Eagerly waiting. Thank you!
@@joyshipley706 As Joel pointed out, David Pawson is a historical premillennialist. He also believed (He went to be with the LORD in 2020, I guess) in post-tribulational rapture (harpazo). Great man of God.
I love the way Joel provides direct in-context quotes. I do hope he will reach out to me before the Maranatha conference. I have created time lines and maps that he would find helpful in presenting what he is teaching. I am not post-trib. but mid-week. My views match up closely with what Joel has presented, but my mid-week timeline is not a common understanding, nor can I find it presented anywhere. Amazing since it is totally biblical! It is in my book "God Has Made Known the Rapture and Two Witnesses." I would be happy to discuss it at the conference, but it would be preferable to discuss it earlier, at least some key elements.
What few seemes to understand is why there is a tribulation at all. Understanding that rightly sweepes away both pre and midtrib. An other thing that is not spoken of is the 70th week of Daniel which has sadly misleading even many posttribber. Its one mans teaching- to save tha pretrib teaching. Daniel 9 is all about Jesus first coming including 70AD. Anyone who believes this teaching gets a viel over his eyes so he can not find the real key to the second coming which also is in Daniel but in another chapter. Understanding that gives also the time 3 and a half year and sweepes away the 7 year period theory.
@@thomasgrans3303 The rapture of the saints is taught by Paul and the rapture of the Two Witnesses is taught by John. Jesus teaches about one being taken and one being left in Matthew 24. These can all be referring to the same rapture. A midweek timing allows for tribulation both before and after the rapture. The great tribulation and day of the Lord coming after the rapture. This view also matches with the observation that saints will face the beast and the beast will declare war on them. The midweek position is closely associated with the mid tribulation view, but there are significant differences concerning God’s wrath. The midweek view has the 7 trumpet judgements in the last 3 1/2 years. It should not be lumped in with the pretribulation view because the saints do face the beast, but it should not be put with the postrib view because the rapture is pre wrath and pre Great trib. It is not sharing a midtribulation view where the church is raptured at the seventh trumpet, and it does not share a prewrath view where the church goes into part of the great tribulation and is taken out sometime in the middle of the last 3 1/2 years. This is a different position than what is taught by 99.9 percent of end time scholars and yet it is derived solely by study of Bible scriptures.

We will be lifted up in the visible sky but still be in the realm of the earth. The ones who is taken will be dead and we will be left. What I find interesting is when I present this and other teachings and expel my views on Dispensationalism (which I’ve always said you can drive a bus through) to friends they react quite hostile. This is the same as I see online. They leap hot headed into refuting it as blasphemy and pull some random dude out of thin air as proof of it and they won’t listen to nor read anything. I’ve taken time to look at all views. Some I agree with some I don’t. None of which offend me so I am genuinely quite astonished at the defending proponents of Dispensationalism and how they all generally react.
Same here. Dispensationalists are pure emotions and hot-air in my experience when challenged. Quickest group to respond with all-caps or "I READ MY BIBLE" etc. It's borderline demonic how they switch in a split second. I've been joining different online geoups of discord servers and telegrams and just about any christian sect or group is more reasonable and used to being challenged or having some experience with apologetics than dispensationalists which only makes sense.
I had no idea that any Christians thought the four gospels were only for Jews! What a strange doctrine! I always wondered how some Christians could believe in pretrib rapture when the gospels are so clear it is post trib.
I had no idea the gospels were for the Jews. But then someone pointed out to me that Matthew begins by tracing the Jewish lineage from Abraham to Jesus. Apparently that particular gospel was written to try in include the Jews.
@@seanc2788 Not to be offense, but you thought that Biblical "Christianity" was created by the "Christians?" Jesus, the apostles, Paul, Mary, Mark, Barnabus, nearly all of the followers were Jews. Jesus came to the Jews as the Jewish Messiah. After the leadership rejected Him, the Gospel was spread to anyone who believed. 🙏
@@eswn1816 Most Roman Catholics believe that the Bible was created by Constantine and the Pope. Until you start to study and dig into the word for yourself, you have no idea the background of the entire narrative. Then you start to trace all the quotations from Jesus and his disciples back to the old testament and you see the connections. This is why God originally wanted the Jewish people to accept the Messiah and carry the message to all the world. They were supposed to connect the old and new testament for us. But because they did not, it fell into the wrong hands and for thousands of years, people have believed a doctrine that has been scrubbed of most Judaism (except for the part that the original founders were all Jews). But it has become so westernized that much of the original significance has been stripped away. We need the Jewish people to pick up the gospel message and rightly divide the word for us so that we can plainly see which parts are specifically teaching for them, and which parts apply to all of us. There is a thread of scripture in the new testament that carries on the old testament and its message for the coming Messiah to the nation of Israel.
@@eswn1816That's not entirely true either. The Hebrews/Israelites/Jews were to be a nation of priests. They were meant to eventually spread the knowledge of the Living G-D to all the nation's. They failed YHWH. But yes, he came to the Jews first which was proper because they were his chosen people. Yeshua and the Apostles didn't just decide to move on to others that might listen. God's order: Romans 2:10 KJV - But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Romans 11:25 KJV - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. This verse alone contradicts your point. They turned from the Jews to the Gentiles! Acts 13:46 KJV - Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
This was so helpful! I was raised in a strict, traditional Catholic home;parochial school, etc. What you said about the things I was taught are so accurate. We were taught that we, as Catholics, had the responsibility to convert the entire world, because we were living in the Millennium, and that Jesus will not return until we have successfully converted the whole world. And, once we have accomplished that, Jesus will return and bless the Roman Catholic church as His official church...or something like that. All of that was very vague. And, what we now call Revelation was called Apocalypse, and , like the rest of the Bible, we were not permitted to read it...only more so. Things changed a little after the Council, but it was still very confusing.
This is a pretty hypocritical presentation. It opens by deriding the notion that Dispensationalism existed in the early church on the basis that it is a 19th Century system - fair enough. But it thereafter presents Historic Premillennialism as the view of the early church without admitting that Historic Premillennialism is also a 19th Century system being used to retroactively describe the writings of some church fathers. That hypocrisy is hidden by maintaining the ambiguity that a viewer without prior knowledge of Historic Premillenialism might think that the terms 'historic' and 'premillenialism' are merely describing one aspect of the teaching of historic figures like Iraneus, rather than the system built in the last 200 years which those fathers may or may not be in wider agreement with had they a time machine to study it today. The deliberate use of that ambiguity is bordering on intentional misleading. Thereafter, a straw man of a grab-bag of summaries of some claims made by some Dispensationalists is presented as cultic, all to eventually reveal that the only point being made - at 1:03:20 - is that the name 'dispensation' is not wanted because it has Darbyist baggage. Why is Historic Premillenialism allowed to develop with inspiration from Dispensationalism, but Dispensationalism has to remain in the 1800s without learning from the other systems it rubs shoulders with? Why is Dispensationalism defined by its most problematic adherents, but Historic Premillenialism defined by its intention to permit consistent Biblical understanding, as if that wasn't the aim of all honest theologians regardless of system proported?

Helpful indeed thanks. Hyper-Dispensationalism was a red flag to me years ago. It teaches, among other things, No repentance from sin necessary in this "Age of Grace" we just accept in our minds the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and not rely on our "works". 2 Corinthians 7:10 for that error. They also say Jesus and Peter had a different Gospel than Paul, 2 Gospels, for the Jews needed to turn from sin to Him, we just "believe." Galatians 2 corrects that confusing theology. Anyway keep on learning and being teachable everyone. God Bless.
This comment is helpful for me because I am constantly coming across beliefs I have not heard of that do not line up with scripture. Must be the hyper-grace movement described here.

I don't think that there is a complete break and separation between Israel and the church but I do think that there is a clear biblical distinction. In fact Paul says that there is coming a time when the fullness of the gentiles will come in to the church. After that time God returns to the nation of Israel and begins to remove the blindness from them and he says that all Israel will be saved. I don't think that this means that every single Jew will get saved but I think that rather than just having a small believing remnant there will be a majority of the Jewish people that will turn to Jesus as Messiah. But this doesn't happen, according to Paul until after the fullness of the gentiles come into the church. This indicates a clear distinction between Israel and the church because in the church God doesn't distinguish between Jew and Gentle. But in the passage in Romans Paul makes that distinction by referring to the time when the fullness of the gentiles will have came into the church. After that happens God then turns to the nation of Israel and begins to convert the Jewish people to faith in Messiah. So clearly there is a distinction there between the church and the nation of Israel. Also there is a clear gap of time between Daniels 69th and 70th week because the chronology of events doesn't line up if you try to make the 70th week immediately follow the 69th week. Rather the mystery of the church, which old testament prophets were not allowed to see, fits in between the 69th and 70th 1:08:01 week.
@@godisreality7014 The old testament prophets consistently say that Israel will be restored in the land. Israel will never be scattered among the nations forever.
@@davidpisachubbe7869 I know that a remnant of Israel will be saved. Some were already gathered by Messiah when He manifested. They were His disciples.
@@godisreality7014 According to Romans 11 there will one day be more than a remnant saved. However, according to the chronology that Paul gives, that will not happen until after the fullness of the gentiles has come into the church. In other words, after the pretribulation rapture of the church God will once again turn back to Israel as a nation. There is simply no good biblical, theological or logical reason to not accept exactly what the promises and prophets say concerning the future of Israel. They may be driven from the land due to disobedience at times but the prophets consistently say that they will be regathered back into the land that God gave to Abraham and his descendants. That is exactly what the bible says and to say anything different is to put a theological belief above what the word of God actually says. Theology can't replace biblical exegesis if you are interested in finding the truth. Furthermore dismissing what the word of God actually says and claiming that it means the exact opposite is definitely not good exegesis.
@@davidpisachubbe7869 Read Romans carefully. Paul discusses Jacob-Israel and Esau and then resorts to calling one of them "gentiles" and the other "Israel", who he often refers to as "jews". However "jews" always like to say they are of Judah. There is an obvious conundrum afoot caused by Identity Theft. Who crucified the Lord of Glory? Was it not Herod of Esau? Who were the disciples of Messiah? Were they not Israelites and Galileans who God supernaturally gathered from the captivity for the first time? (Isaiah 11, Ezekiel 11.17 & 37, Isaiah 60, Matthew 26.73, Mark 14.70,John 1.47). Paul resorts to covering up the identity of Jacob-Israel by calling him "gentile". In Eph 2.11 Paul says something very interesting: The "gentiles" are not of the UNcircumcision and "the jews" are of the Circumcision, which Messiah said was not of God but a Tradition of "the fathers" of the Pharisee. (John 7.21-23) Messiah called their father satan. John 8.44 So this business of "the fulness of the gentiles" coming in causing some sort of change of mind in "the jews" who are Esau is a reality defying statement. "the jews" have their own moschiach (John 8.44) and they are waiting for him to arrive and it is not going to be Messiah but anti-Christ. (2 Thess 2).
The real confusion among believers is the arbitrary division between Old Testament and New Testament in our Bibles. Malachi was not the last book in the "O.T.", neither is Matthew the first book in the "N.T." Jesus lived His entire life under the Old Testament (Covenant). "For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed." {Rom. 15:8} Therefore, Matthew - Acts is the record of God's calling the nation of Israel to repentance through His only Son. Only after their refusal to repent did God turn to the Gentiles through Paul's gospel of grace. If all scripture is for our obedience today, and we need to obey Jesus' words that He spoke while on earth (red letters), then Paul's message to us in The Body is null and void. Consider some of Jesus' words to His disciples vs. Paul's words to his followers: Jesus - "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, a drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." {Matt. 10:6-8} “A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” {Matt 15:22-24} Paul - "I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them." {Rom. 11:13,14} “I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles.” {Gal.2:2} Jesus - “A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’ ” “All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” {Luke 18:18-22} Paul - “For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.” {Rom.3:28} The earthly Jesus was sent ONLY to the nation of Israel because they were under contract with God (Old Covenant). The Gentiles had long ago abandoned their worship of Jehovah, following after the demons through idol worship. Jesus came to call the chosen nation to repentance from their breach of the Contract with God. Jesus’ message was directed to Jews ONLY. He scattered crumbs to a few “dogs”(Gentiles) only after their recognizing their inferiority to Israel and approaching our Lord as such. But Israel stubbornly rejected The Son of God and His Kingdom message. Israel was given a 40 year reprieve from imminent judgment after Jesus prayed from The Cross for their forgiveness. Prophecy spoke of Gentile blessing, but ONLY through the restoration of Israel. Gentiles would only be able to approach The King (Jesus) by the mediatorial Jew, as Israel was to be a kingdom of priests through whom the Gentile nations could gain access to God. After the nation refused the apostle’s message of repentance during the Acts period, judgment fell on the apostate nation in the form of the Roman army, where Jerusalem was destroyed and with it the temple. Once their means of worship and sacrifice was removed, they were officially set aside as the favored nation to open the way for Paul’s Gospel to be implemented. This message removed all distinctions between humans. By faith alone anyone can approach God. In Christ, “there is neither Jew nor Gentile, bond or free, male nor female”, all are one in our Savior. The real danger, is to disregard the distinctions that God has clearly made in His Word. The gospels (Matt. - Acts) are intended as a record of the failure of the Jewish nation to repent of their apostacy and the consequences that followed. The books of (Romans - Philemon) contain Paul’s gospel that he received from the exalted Jesus in glory, not the earthly Jesus. The theme here is justification for all men by God’s grace through faith, apart from the works of The Law of Israel. The books of (Hebrews - Revelation) are given as future instructions for regathered Israel during their testing, mainly during the tribulation of 7 years. This is evident simply by reading the introduction by the writers to their recipients. The writer of Hebrews writes to.... Hebrews. James writes to "the twelve tribes scattered abroad". Peter writes to the Jewish diaspora scattered in Asia. John writes the book of Revelation to 7 Jewish assemblies in Asia (Israel out of the land). The constant references to Israel is overwhelming! “Repent, or I will come to you and remove your lampstand", "The blasphemy of those that say they are Jews, but are not", "They are of the synagogue of Satan", "You shall have tribulation ten days", "You have those that hold to the doctrine of Balaam" , "Cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel", "To eat food sacrificed to idols", "You tolerate that woman Jezebel", " Those that commit adultery…into great tribulation", "I will kill (Jezebel’s) children with death", "Repent, If you do not watch, I will come on you like a thief", "I am he who holds the key of David". etc. To try to make all of the Greek scriptures apply to us today, is to immerse oneself in hopeless confusion. Mixing The Law which the lowly, earthly Jesus lived under and taught His disciples, with Paul's Gospel of Grace, which he received from the exalted Lord in heaven is to nullify Grace. This is what the Galatian churches were guilty of and why Paul so vehemently denounced them!
None of the verses you quoted were contradictions of each other by being applied to everyone. That's what happens when you prefer to read through the lens of OSAS rather than your own 2 eyes. As for matthew 15, I find it interesting that you stopped your quote about Samaritans right before he healed a Samaritan and called the mother of faith. If he was not there for gentiles, he would not have done so.
It may surprise you that all of the apostles ended up spreading the gospel to the gentiles (not just Paul, although he may have been the first one primarily). Also, the church in Corinth was a combination of Jews and gentiles, as were other churches that he founded. So those letters were to both Jews and gentiles. Using your logic, all of Paul’s letters would be tossed because he continued preaching to Jews and gentiles, and teaching both for years and years, as they are both one in Christ Jesus. Tossing out the gospels is very clearly error. You claim a Savior whose words you don’t read or follow? Grave error. Either toss out the whole New Testament or study all of it and let it transform you, is the advice that I follow.
@@christincommon5496 Paul indeed taught Jews & Gentiles that were made one in Christ, but what gospel did he teach? He called it "my gospel", it was not the gospel that Jesus taught on earth. Jesus taught the gospel of the promised Kingdom to Israel ONLY. When the rich ruler asked Jesus: “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus promptly pointed him to the requirements of The Law. After the ruler assured Jesus that he had kept all the commandments, Jesus answered: “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven." {Luke 18:18-22} Would you proclaim this message to someone today if they asked you the same question? I would hope not! God's revelation of truth is progressive. The glorified Jesus gave Paul a previously unrevealed message of salvation for Jew & Gentile APART from The Law. Under Law, Jesus proclaimed a gospel of salvation to jews ONLY, because they were under The Law Contract with God, the commandments were imperative to obey for Kingdom entrance. If we go to Jesus' words spoken to Israel while He was on earth, we will have the wrong message because He wasn't speaking to us, only apostate Israel. He even told his disciples to avoid Gentiles: "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “DO NOT go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’' {Matt. 10:5-7} Our Lord revealed a new message of Grace to Paul for all people today without regard for national distinction. We should proclaim that message today which is: "But NOW apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. {Rom. 3:21-24} All scripture is FOR our learning, but not all is TO us for our obedience. Israel showed their faith in God by offering an animal sacrifice for their offences. This was required by God in that era. For us to do that very same thing today would be to deny the efficacy of Christ's sacrifice for our sins. Israel was God's special people in Jesus' day, and His message reflected that truth. Today, Israel has temporarily lost that status, and God is treating Jews like all the other nations, without distinction!
@@Truthseeker946 all of the apostles taught the same gospel to Jews and gentiles alike. This extremely clear when reading early church information and ecclesiastical documentation. The presentation was different because gentiles were not looking for a Messiah but Jews were. Both groups were convinced through Scripture that Jesus fulfilled prophecy. The testimony of Jesus IS the spirit of prophecy. Even to this day, Jews are continually converted to Christianity using the very same gospel message that converts gentiles. The Corinthian church was Jew and gentile. Same letter to both. Same instruction, same warnings, same encouragement. All are saved by grace through faith. Unfortunately you are victim of false doctrine. The best approach is to study the Scripture without denominational or other bias. Everything is clear.
@@christincommon5496 You refer to "the same gospel" being preached by Jesus and His 12 apostles as Paul. However, I pointed out what Jesus proclaimed to the rich ruler as based on Law and not Grace. What is your answer to this? Jesus could not preach the same gospel as Paul, because He had not yet suffered The Cross. Paul's gospel is concerned with our spiritual blessings as a result of Christ's sacrifice. All the various denominations are the result of the failure to make distinctions between Law & Grace. Jesus lived His entire life under The Law, and fulfilled it perfectly. But to take our instructions from the 4 gospels is to deny the instructions from the exalted Jesus at The Father's right hand in glory to Paul. Paul was the ONLY apostle to receive instructions from Christ in glory. That is why Paul was chosen, to be the dispenser of The Mystery to The Body of Christ. Paul said that we are no longer to consider Jesus after the flesh. "So that we, from now on, have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him [thus] no longer." {2 Cor. 5:16} While in the flesh, Jesus ministered to Israel alone, and His words should always be kept in that context, otherwise we will "plug ourselves into" the wrong message.
There are many in hard core muslim countries that haven't heard - FAI discusses this on another of their videos. North Korea also has some who haven't heard.
@@kenklein9228 not true. Every inch has been covered. For many years now. And by the way the Muslims know and believe in Jesus. And all of them are taught Christianity. They all have heard of him
@@Nomad58 You're broad brushing when you insist that all muslims have been taught about Jesus. Yes, the vast majority of them know about Jesus, but often they hear lies, not the gospel. Simply knowing that a person named Jesus is worshiped because he was killed isn't the gospel. For confirmation of this, google Joshua Project.
I enjoyed this teaching. I first heard the word Dispensationalism about 7 years ago. There were no teachings that I could find. I want to thank you. I do have one question or observation. You pair the Israelite and the Jew together. As I am an Israelite, you've not addressed us in your teaching when speaking of the Jew. Some may be of Judah, but there were 11 other brothers. Scattered, returning. Scripture does tell us that all must come in through Israel. (Romans 11). The Jewish converts come in through Israel. I would like to have seen us incorporated into your teaching as it is through us that all Israel will be saved. Jew, Israelite, and Gentile (born again). THIS is the mystery. Thanks and Shalom.
The Israelite is Jacob-Israel and the "jew" is Esau. "gentile", like "goy" are terms used by Esau to hide the identity of Jacob-Israel. Esau stole the identity of Jacob-Israel. (Obadiah, Ezekiel 35, Ezekiel 36, Habakkuk 1.6). Therefore Herod of Esau slaughtered infant boys to preclude the Messiah and finally had the Messiah crucified by his lackey the roman Philistine. Esau hated Christ, because he feared he would lose what he stole. (John 11.48-52) This is never taught in "church", but rather dispensatanalism, which blots Jacob-Israel out all together and replaces him with anti-Christ Esau. The Israelite is northern European and Judah was sold to Greece (Joel 3.6) to become the slav and the orthodox people generally. Many though were converted to Islam.

New Covenant Whole Gospel:
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.

Three.
Scripture only! Amen.
Joel, the progression of knowledge reminds me of Daniels words saying how knowledge will increase in the last days….knowledge of the eternal plans of the Lord, just as Dalton has presented in previous sessions.
Yes but pre trib claims it is the oldest
And non Dispensationalist are ignoring the Truth of the Word and making up their own doctrine. As a (Hyper, as I'm sometimes called) Dispensationalist, I get to believe Scripture as it written, changing nothing, ignoring nothing.
This was the most excellent teaching on one of the most difficult topics. Thank you, Joel!
Thank you. Very good summary of dispensationalism

Thus they never talk about them and avoid them at all costs if the topic comes up.
very helpful. Thank you Joel Richardson.
Clear and concise. A very good presentation that I agree with wholeheartedly.
I never believed in a pre trib rapture. It’s become a distraction from worshiping how Holy he is , praise him, and doing good deeds.
Yep. Amen
I believe this remnant will be among those who enter the millennium and populate it
ABSOLUTELY TRUE!! RIGHT ON!!
2nd Peter 3:15
I use to think that this was just difference of opinion, but ever increasingly I see the proponents of pre-tribulationism and its leaders holding onto this doctrine and either avoiding debates entirely or attacking anything which refutes it with extreme hostility... and at all costs.

This is excellent teaching! Keep up the great work in the Lord.

If you believe in the gospel and salvation through faith alone, everything else is irrelevant.

I agree about dumping terms full of baggage. We should also dump the term rapture as well and use the biblical term resurrection.
I wouldn't go that far yet.

Resurrection of the dead is one of the six principles of the doctrine of Christ...kinda important. Heb 6:1-3
I agree with you in some parts. I don’t agree with other Christians who believe that our Lord Jesus will be sacrificing bulls, lambs etc during the so called *millennial kingdom*
His is the Only sacrifice God the Father has already required.

Are you born again?
The sword coming out of his mouth is the word of God. And it signifies the church preaching salvation to the lost
Irenaeus (AD 130 - 202)
“Those nations however, who did not of themselves raise up their eyes unto heaven, nor returned thanks to their Maker, nor wished to behold the light of truth, but who were like blind mice concealed in the depths of ignorance, the word justly reckons “as waste water from a sink, and as the turning-weight of a balance - in fact, as nothing;”(1) so far useful and serviceable to the just, as stubble conduces towards the growth of the wheat, and its straw, by means of combustion, serves for working gold. And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, “There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be.”(2) For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.”

Cyprian (AD 200-258)
“We who see that terrible things have begun, and know that still more terrible things are imminent, may regard it as the greatest advantage to depart from it as quickly as possible. Do you not give God thanks, do you not congratulate yourself, that by an early departure you are taken away, and delivered from the shipwrecks and disasters that are imminent? Suppose that the heavens should just now open and you should hear the sound of the last Trumpet, and Jesus Christ should descend. ... all you that are impenitent and unbelievers, would be left behind: and think what terror would fall upon you...

We live in the Day Dispensationbof Grace! It doesn't pass away!!
Pastor at my church taught last Sunday from Luke 10 and told us all. That God gives grace to some and not to others. I'm leaving
@katiefaith5381 He doesn't give grace to children of Satan. Anyone can receive God's grace but he must first receive Jesus as his Savior.
Also remember scripture "lord lord I prophesied in your name.... Get away you workers of iniquity. I never knew you." Matthew 7:22. It's referring to false prophets & false doctrines. You won't receive God's grace on Judgement Day.
2 Peter 3:8-13
As for replacement theology.
9For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”
Romans 9:6-9
28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.
Galatians 4:28-31
27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
Romans 3:27-30
26For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
@@educational4434
Yet again, there is never a mention that the 1000 years reign is literal and physically on earth in fact most of the evidence in the New Testament would say it isn't a reign here on earth but rather a spiritual reign.

In these last days, a Christ-centred church is being replaced by a Judeo-centric church as the direct result of the novel dispensational teachings. ✔️
A Judeo centric Church. The accusations just keep coming, always from the Biblically illiterate. And, as usual you won't be prepared to substantiate your accusation.
Exactly. Look at the state of the modern Evangelical, they hold a higher reverence for Jews who completely and openly reject Christ than they do for their own Christian brothers.

Great teaching. I finally understand why my current pastor is a pretribulational rapture dispensationalist.
Same here, and we get on peacefully but we are aware we do not all agree on all things. We live in a small town and go to a Calvary Chapel
Going back to the basics. A church that's led by the HOLY SPIRIT just like in the times of the Apostles.
Where in Matt. 24 does Jesus present the resurrection and the rapture?
Thank you!!! 🙏🙏 South Africa
To reiterate, this is why paul states in verse 14 "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus"
To continue, in chapter 5 after reminding them they already know about the times that would come with the day of the lord, he begins his speech about the thief in the night. He says wheb they shout peace and safety, sudden destruction will come upon THEM the unbelievers.
Now, pre trib will say this means it couldn't possibly be during or after the 7 years when it happens because there would already be so much destruction. Of course, this line of thought would only make sense then if the rapture occurred during a moment of total complete peace, so if pre trib took this consistently they would have to claim the rapture could not even happen right now because there are hundreds of wars around the world. A simple explanation would be that there is a moment of calm during the 7 years in the 2nd half.This would explain why the 2nd seals war seems to end in the 4th seal. The war ends before the martyrdom of the 5th seal even begins! Then in the 6th seal you will notice the following;
"and they said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the sight of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
Do you see that they were only now hiding in the mountains?
Jesus says in matthew 24 : 22
"but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short"
He Does not cut them short for everyone. ONLY the elect. Therefore he comes early, at the end of the tribulationn which is the period of time from the mid point to before the end of the 2nd half when the believers are persecuted. Who are the elect? The believers. Anybody who truly believes. 2timothy 2:10, romans 8:33
Now look at the thief in the night parable again.
Compare 1 thess 5 to Revelation 16: 15
("Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and people will not see his shame.”)
Does this sound like the thief in the night is at the beginning, or towards the end?
"It may come as a surprise to most pre-Trib prophecy students that the post-Trib position (in its primitive form) is the oldest point of view."
(The quotation above is from the book "Will You Escape The Tribulation?

I’d like to ask a question: Do you hold the belief that “THE PROPHETIC CLOCK STOPPED?”
According to this popular view, God’s clock ran flawlessly for 69 weeks (483 years). Then suddenly the clock stopped and has not ticked once since.
That's what scripture indicates. The last week of 70, which is 490 yrs, stopped at 483. Which leaves 7 yrs or 1 week of days left to be fulfilled in Revelation
I think Daniel’s prophetic clock stopped concerning the 70 weeks. But God’s prophetic clock as a whole has not stopped.
The entire 70 weeks ran flawlessly.....it makes a mockery of the scriptures to detach the 70th week and throw it 2000 years into the future. Good grief.

Not to be offense, but you thought that Biblical "Christianity" was created by the "Christians?"
Jesus, the apostles, Paul, Mary, Mark, Barnabus, nearly all of the followers were Jews.
They were
meant to eventually spread the knowledge of the Living G-D to all the nation's. They failed YHWH. But yes, he came to the Jews first which was proper because they were his chosen people. Yeshua and the Apostles didn't just decide to move on to others that might listen. That's just wrong. Yeshua came to save the entire population of the world if possible.

God's order:
Romans 2:10 KJV - But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Romans 11:25 KJV - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Excellent teaching!
Thanks for explaining this subject in a clear and easy way. 👍

Read the "old" testament promises of God to Israel, who are a people, scattered. They are not "jews" who are Esau.
John 8.44
So this business of "the fulness of the gentiles" coming in causing some sort of change of mind in "the jews" who are Esau is a reality defying statement.

Paul's words to his followers:
Jesus - "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, a drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." {Matt. 10:6-8}
“A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” {Matt 15:22-24}
Paul - "I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them." {Rom. 11:13,14}
“I went in response to a revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles.” {Gal.2:2}
Jesus - “A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good-except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’ ” “All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” {Luke 18:18-22}
Paul - “For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.” {Rom.3:28}
The earthly Jesus was sent ONLY to the nation of Israel because they were under contract with God (Old Covenant).
God's revelation of truth is progressive. The glorified Jesus gave Paul a previously unrevealed message of salvation for Jew & Gentile APART from The Law. Under Law, Jesus proclaimed a gospel of salvation to jews ONLY, because they were under The Law Contract with God, the commandments were imperative to obey for Kingdom entrance. If we go to Jesus' words spoken to Israel while He was on earth, we will have the wrong message because He wasn't speaking to us, only apostate Israel. He even told his disciples to avoid Gentiles: "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “DO NOT go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’' {Matt. 10:5-7}
Our Lord revealed a new message of Grace to Paul for all people today without regard for national distinction. We should proclaim that message today which is: "But NOW apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. {Rom. 3:21-24}
All scripture is FOR our learning, but not all is TO us for our obedience.
Paul said that we are no longer to consider Jesus after the flesh. "So that we, from now on, have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him [thus] no longer." {2 Cor. 5:16}
While in the flesh, Jesus ministered to Israel alone, and His words should always be kept in that context, otherwise we will "plug ourselves into" the wrong message.
There is not a single place left on earth that hadn’t been told about Christ. That’s been true for decades.
@@kenklein9228 google a web site. Lol. Come on man. Everyone has heard by now. It’s not the 1800’s
@@Nomad58 Double LOL! Look at the facts man.
