You need to make it down to Texas and Driftwood Texas and Salt Lick BBQ, Fredericksburg and Johnson City Texas Wine tours where there is a winery about every mile in between, and the Texas "Hill Country", New Braunfels and the Comal River You could spend a whole season down here making road trips. Lots of History too.
I’ve been to Naperville IL 3 times this year from NorCal. The next time out I may have to make a stop here to check this out. It looks like it’s only 70 mi away. Thank you for the inspiration Heather
