I would say because they feel very guilty. Everyone says “You’re so sweet, you’re so nice” but they know deep down they aren’t nice at all, this is pure profit driven and it’s their career. This career would weigh heavily on me.
Bc they know making this type of videos will make them profit. I'm sure they're good dudes, but they wouldn't do this if the views are low and the ROI is bad. They are using these people for views to make money basically.

He was simply in shock. Nobody ever tips us, period. If people even tipped $1 on average it would change a drivers life by the end of the week, but they don't.

I'm also a delivery rider here in the philippines, we only got .70 dollars per delivery and the gas price is at the highest at the moment. Such a struggle, that's why I love this typoe of content. Love your works steven!!!

I usually tip people in the Philippines that are struggling to make money and that do their best at markets selling stuff between 1000 php and 5000 php. (Also to toilet ladies, or kids selling stuff at the busstops).
Then right away I just walk away, I already know what it means to them and seeing their instant surprise and smile is enough.
I don’t make video’s though as I feel I am not the kind of person for that. Steven, Juan, Mr Beast and Dawson are so much better at this.

I always tip 4 bucks minimum. Maybe I’m just greedy but I feel like if I tip above average someone will claim my order faster lol.
If it’s late at night/snowy I give an extra few bucks too. Because I know it’s a pain
Can confirm. Doordash average tip is less than $4. GrubHub is higher.
I think it’s referring to delivery services like UberEats, DoorDash, etc. DoorDash forces a 10% tip at the very minimum.

I’ve been doing food delivery for 7 years now and in a big market (Los Angeles)… and wish the average tip was $5…
Sadly, a good chunk don’t tip at all (and drivers can see it ahead of time) and we need to make a living and decline those deliveries…
If you want to have your order delivered in a timely manner, please add a fair tip and consider the distance from the restaurant to your house + the weather + time of day.
