Sly wanted out in the 3rd game and when he saw his father’s oldest partner gonna hit Carmelita he took the shot because he loves her and cares for her too and at that moment she knew he had feelings for her the hole time to and then she protected him to in the end of the fight and the only reason why he faked it is because he wanted to seddle down and have a normal life but in the 4th one you guys are right he should have told her the truth in the first place but the only reason he didn’t is because he wanted to protect her to

The best part is that unlike most 'relationships', these two have actual chemistry and it shows when she teases him back. The love is real and she doesn't blindly let her job get in the way of showing her humanity or vice versa. It's a shame that her portrayal in Sly 2 is rather bland compared to the first and third games since they gave the lion's share of dialogue to Neyla.
when you see those "paralyzing" shots demolish car, you can always ask; "Are you sure that is for stun?

If I'm honest, I prefer her first VA. She sounded cuter back then.
For personal matters these chases are interesting. Carmelita is one of the best video game police cops ever and she's also a skilled combatant and she's able to catch and defeat criminals with her hands and feet in combat. But Sly on the other proves to be Carmelita's greatest challenge yet and Sly Cooper's a hard criminal to catch which is like a rivalry game of cat and mouse. Sly and Carmelita could be allies and the best of friends if Sly wasn't a criminal or frenemies but a relationship of them being a couple is complicated. The Sly Cooper franchise really needs to come back with more games and Sly Cooper and the franchise needs more love and appreciation.
Man I love this freaking games. They were so fun ad creative, from character design to levels
I always liked the "Battery in Peril" mission a lot despite how short it is since it switches things up and has you controlling Carmelita in order to catch Sly, (which you can also do in the "Cops and Robbers" multiplayer game in Sly 3.) It also kinda funny to me that the moment the player has control of her, she ends up being a much better shot, even though I know that Sly was wanting to get shot to fill up the battery.

We can see how OP Carmelita is that in Sly 3 when control her we can actually chase and capture the protagonist of the game, haha. I know Sly was "letting" her capture him, but as you control her you see how her kit is ridiculously OP: Faster/ High jump/ infinite Shock pistol that kill big guards with just 2 shots...
Carmelita may be obsessed to catch Sly Cooper and taking her job seriously, but she knows Sly is not a bad criminal.

While she sounds pretty cool in Sly 2, I think I understand their reason for changing her voice. Carmelita had a Spanish accent in the first game,but she sounds more English in Sly 2. I'm pretty sure Sucker Punch noticed that and fixed it by getting another actor for Sly 3. Forgive me if that came out wrong in any way

@SlyCooperRocks I just barely started playing sly 3 but it feels like it suffered of franchise fatigue, Naughty Dog and Insomniac got kind of tired with Crash and Spyro by the third game.

Edit: For the first chase in sly 2: It really didn’t make sense for Carmelita to believe it was sly to take the clockwork parts knowing from the first game that he doesn’t want the parts to be around and double for the fact that why would he return a day later to the same area to obtain what empty clockwork parts
