I would have loved to see it like this. I was born there in 2001 and still living here to this day

Sanford was kind of a sleep town back in the 60's-70's. It had beautiful homes and friendly people. Some would consider it more of a cowboy town like St Cloud & Kissimmee. The zoo was weird to me but great for exploring and boating totally different than what it looks today.

Shot on "film" and the red tone is from bad storage of the film.
My dad used to make films like this in the 50's and 60's.

I call it the wanna be city. It wants to be and old city and a new city. You have the westside wanna be city and the new eastside wanna be city. And the old wanna be city near the lake and the old forgotten city on both sides of 17&92. The old city (not the forgotten old city) comes the closest to being a city but not much parking makes any good event a whole lot less desirable. Typical major growth city with a lack of consistent goals. Except for the roads I like it here. We have manhole bombs that will have you visiting the mechanic.
