    We better get something for defense next.

      Tiernan Hart I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me what it means for a video I make to be for defense. If you don't know what the offensive player is trying to do, how are you going to know to stop it?

    Buczek doesn't really need a left hand because he does a great job getting back to his strong hand, great video!

      yeah, do shooting on the run, thatd be tight.

      Sean Grogan There really aren't that many to do. And some of them are just things like "run around the defender to the right" that I'm not sure really merit a video devoted to them.What ones did you have in mind?

      Lacrosse Film Room shooting on the run, but thats not really a move

      Ken Donsky Yea, I would do something more specific than just shooting on the run. Though it could be something that included shooting on the run. Something like left to right split dodges down the alley w/ a shot on the run.

    You should do some box videos

    A trick I learned, and works really well at the high school level, is if you get beat down the alley and you are trailing by just a step, try and get a lift on their elbow to prevent the shot on the run.

    Can you do an attack moves for when they dodge from x and go from right to left and back (if neccesary) to get the defender caught in the back of the goal?

    Will you do any more videos breaking down offenses and defenses?

    • @lacrossefilmroom
      @lacrossefilmroom  10 років тому

      Ethan Krueger Yes, definitely. I have far more ideas for them than I have time to put them together. Videos like this one that are compilations just require a lot less work for me to put together.

    great dodge but needs an official name, its just "Right-to-left split dodge, roll back right and shoot" is a little long

    • @lacrossefilmroom
      @lacrossefilmroom  10 років тому +1

      Jake Cordes I don't know. It's really a compilation of 3 separate moves. If an attackman did a split dodge, then a finalizer, then finished with a question mark or an inside roll, you wouldn't say that sequence needs a name because it's just 3 moves in a row that all already have names. I would argue this is the same thing.

      but if its such a common thing and especially since it works so well, it should get an official name

      Lacrosse Film Room You could've called it "split, roll, score"
