I listen to a lot of synth wave and retrowave, but having grown up in the 80's this is Jay is on his own genre. I love it. Plus watching this video on acid made it a lot more fun.

There's nothing sublime about this track. Creativity, skill, passion. The video is superfluous but a nice assurance. This track is perfection. Not perfect, but perfection, as in the creator did everything they could in the time they had. And the result is endlessly enjoyable.
