“This guitar is made of mahogany. Not just any mahogany, either. This mahogany is from the planet of Malchior 7, where the trees are three hundred feet tall and breath fire! It is from these trees that this guitar was forged two thousand years ago, using ancient blood rituals of the Malchior people. Not only does it make this guitar NIGH INDESTRUCTIBLE, but it can bend the fabric of the universe itself!
Also, it's a very fine material. Very expensive.
...Mahogany.”
I feel like I read a katana worshipping weabboo's essay, but instead of tamahagane, it was mahogany.
Schecter is one of the few if not the only brand that always makes a lefty of almost every model from their catalog, love them for that!!!!
@@oleauby3852 I know, I'm just stating another maker that does both expensive custom and affordable guitars
@@base4522 prs only makes that for their SE models most of the time, the real deal is painfully limited once again

Become The Knight hey no problems here man personally I like it better. Won’t hear that on the Guitar Center/Sweetwater demos
"I can't say shhh to much other wise it hurts" unboxing a Schecter guitar. RIP.
I got a shecter 7 string lefty as well, but just the entry level diamond series. I enjoy playing it alot. Very greatful shecter gives us lefties some good options for a good price.
All of their guitars are Diamond Series, except for artist models and custom shop IIRC. Their 2000's models have "Diamond Series" in large print on the headstock, but now it's in fine lettering under the giant "Schecter" logo.
@@Lawrence330 I see my bad. Thank you for the information I'm not familiar with alot of shecter stuff, and this guitar is the only shecter guitar I have owned. I looked it up online, and it looks like the guitar is a "Shecter C-7 Deluxe Left Handed in Satin Black".
@@Lawrence330 good point man, I thought that Diamond Series are only their "import made" guitars

Love the video man. Hope you love the guitar
With a 7 string, you can now officially call yourself a prog guitarist.
YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE
I be a lefty too, Schecter are great for the variety.
I really like that Schecter shows some love for lefty players. I have a Schecter Hellraiser C1 fr with the Sustainiac pickup and it’s great!!!
Really like the "Make Orwell Fiction Again" t-shirt.
I almost feel like we are closer to Huxley. Or maybe a mix of Orwel and Huxley, which is even more scary lol.
@@BecomeTheKnight We get to experience two dystopias for the price of one, what a deal. :)
I'll be sure to thank both Huxley and Orwell while I can still speak freely.
Thanks Mike for the shoutout! Excited about the podcast with Become The Knight! Coming soon!
It's good seeing guitar & gear companies giving you product!
Keep on keeping on 🎸🥌
I've been subbed for a while and I'm floored by how consistently great your hair looks. 10/10
Congratulations on your wonderful day. It's always super special when you get a new tasty guitar and the heavy duty plush case just adds to the excitement. Been there myself and I know your joy.
Love your work with clean tones, sounds great man.

Sometimes I wish you'd say something intelligent in these comments sections instead of just commenting for likes.
Lord of Diamonds I comment whatever I’m thinking when I watch the videos, it’s generally something I find funny and hope other people will as well. Sorry I’m not big brain enough for you.
man that guitar and case are awesome together best unboxing I seen all year so far... thanks for sharing
Nothing like a new guitar day!! Dang dude! Looks and sounds sweet. Congrats!
Love my Schecter 7 string, glad you got one! You could tell how stoked you were to get the guitar it was contagious haha.
I just ordered one of these guitars. This review really helped me learn more about it. Thanks Mike!
Really cool to see the store put all their left handed guitars in the background too
Mike, you're so lucky! I absolutely adore Schecter guitars and I would die if they ever sent me anything in the mail, let alone a guitar. Congrats!
YES! I'm happy for you dude!
You opening staples is the most entertaining thing I’ve seen today haha
The good thing about carton staples is that they're copper plated, so they're less likely to cause an infection should one get one lodged somewhere through questionable box opening methods.
Love the review, I have my quick review of my Silver Mountain C-8, and so far I absolutely love it! Glad you enjoy, the silver mountain guitars are awesome. Also keep up the great work, love the channel! \m/
You should check out Solar guitars. They have some epic lefty guitars!
I like solar myself, but I checked some side by side and they couldn't compare to these for anything they were doing..... Seemed like they got a little muddy when the tuning dropped.... Otherwise they sounded great, and Ola is super cool.
It is a looker. Schecter seems to be knocking it out of the park the last few years. Thanks for sharing man
Congrats Mike this is awesome.
This guitar sounds really awesome! It'll be my turn to receive a left-handed schecter 7 string tomorrow. Not as expensive one as yours, but it'll be my 1st 7 string guitar, so I'm mega excited!
Mike, you should try and cover Dream Theater - A nightmare to remember with that 7 string🤘🏾
jesus christ i don't even play guitar but here i am because i could literally listen to you read a phone book for hours
at least i'm learning A LOT of new stuff lmao
It's so fun to go back and watch Mike playing these Crusade riffs that wouldn't come out for another year or so
First time seeing him play. I usually just watch the videos for his opinion. Glad to see someone else has a pinky sticking out on their picking hand like that. Nice video keep up the good work.
Congrats from a fellow lefty player! I love schecters, I have 2 of them. They are definitely the most friendly to lefty players. I dont think I'll ever go with another company. I did swap the pickups on both guitars dimarzio fred and paf pro in one guitar, and dimarzio moe joe and air norton in the other. Good get for you Mike!!!
I like this video man I have been contemplating buying one of these also in the seven string multi scale configuration and I'm sold it'll also be my first 7 multi scale
That interior... kinda want it in every box I open from now on. Beautiful video. And Guitar
Just ordered a c8 silver mountain thanks to this video. Ty.
Wow! What an instrument! Sick!!!
2:55 I thought it was wrapped in plastic
Then I realized it's the finish LOL
I'm going blind :( great guitar BTW
This guitar is at the top of my list for next purchase. I have 2 Schecters already and love them both.
Nice guitar. I'm happy for you too 🔥
Have a Schecter Banshee Elite 7FRS. Frickin' love it! Long & McQuade ordered it straight from the factory and it came perfectly setup, just had to do a minor tune on it. Highly recommend Schecter and will definately be getting another one in the future! Please start making heads and cabs please Schecter!
That finish!
man i loved that first song you played i got goosebumps!! is there a full version of it somewhere??
Keep an eye out for my band Crusade. Part of one of our originals. New album coming this year 🤘
Man, 7 strings are the best! Glad to see that you managed to find one that actually suits you in every way and form. I've had trouble finding a good Les Paul shaped that suits me and I'm right handed, makes you understand how it feels to be a lefty.
I like having both 6&7, while 8s are a bit much for me. I usually use the sixes to create, and then pending on the piece it will either stay on the 6 or I'll move it to the 7 and build on it.
Mostly run my sixes anywhere between d and c tunings, while I usually dump my 7s into a# standard and drop occasionally.
Mike: I’m not a not a socialist
Also Mike:
Bless your marxist heart for not understanding the principle of inequality of value.
That cute little hat you have in your thumbnail belonged to a worse regime than Nazi Germany, just FYI
I own 3 Schecters and I love them all. A Schecter C1+ 6 string, a Schecter HellRaiser FR 6 string(my main baby) and I recently took the deep dive into extended range guitars and got a Schecter Omen 8 string(the cheapest of the three). I think this will be the next Schecter I get, love the way this thing looks and sounds.
I can't seem to stay away from Schecter either lol I got an Omen - 7 about 7 years ago that I still love and play. I got the C8 Silver Mountain about 2 weeks ago and it's so badass. My next will probably be a Schecter 6 string model.
I don't even play guitar but I am just as happy and excited to see you play with it 😄😄😂🎸
Before even watching the vid....I knew that that guitar was gonna be a beast just by the looks
I play lefty strung right handed, and I have not gotten the balls yet to try a seven string. Even with 20 guitars the most I have done is purchased a schecter 5 string bass.
Love Schecter. Best QC out there. I sold 5 Gibson's, and bought Schecters.
They have been sending youtubers guitars a whole lot lately. Congrats!
That intro is everything lol
Yeah man they really care about left handed players and I appreciate it so much
Mike the guitar legend
My first guitar was also a schecter. I was so happy with it)
i got the omen elite 7 in red really nice guitar , nice vid bro
I really enjoyed that first piece you played to demonstrate the guitar, is there somewhere I can find that?
I’m a lefty too. Gonna check this site.
Totally love this design... I want the 8 strings version.
dude, that Silver Mountain is the best thing that came out of NAMM last month. Schecter is a great brand, I have an Omen and I love it.
dude i love Schecter guitars! i use the Syn gates low key custom on stage. and i use the Matt Heafy 7 epiphone as well. Id love to play a right handed version of that ABSOLUTE BEAUTY
We dialed in this wash tone.. lol, code for "I bought two strymons"
Omg that thing is gorgeous
Schecter is so awesome
Awesome shirt and guitar. I had Schecter hellraiser c-7 once.. I miss it a lot.. Hopefully I can have new or second-handed lefty guitar in near future.
Currently I have right handed Ibanez with flipped strings. :/
God, I want that guitar. Also a lefty here. And you're 100% correct. Schecter is probably the best company when it comes the lefty love. My next guitar will almost 100% be a 7 string Schecter. If I'm lucky, it'll be a Silver Mountain.
U answered at the end of the video.lol. thanks man
Huge bonus *Giggity, Giggity*
Awesome looking guitar, are you having any adjustment issues? I just started on 7 string myself and keep fucking up riffs by playing on the wrong strings especially on the low E instead of the A. Lol
I am getting this guitar.
These schecters look awesome. The neck actually stops at the nut. That always bothered me with most multiscale guitars
Schetor has always been badass!
Gotta be sure to sub another lefty guitarist! Schecter rules man, congrats!!
At least in my experience you need a good amp to carry the tone of a schecter. I have a Reaper-ms7 and I find my self coming back to my epiphone sg a lot, because the diamond decimators on my schecter have a really scooped sound that doesn’t punch as hard as I’d like. The fretboard is also I feel a little too wide, I’m still getting used to not bending my wrist to reach the 7th string. Otherwise I’m very happy with mine, it stays in tune and handles like butter, not to mention it’s a beautiful instrument.
I play through a Friedman BE50 deluxe normally. That thing can make just about any guitar sound great lol
It depends what tone you're looking for. I've never had an issue with getting tone..... Well except for my cheap omen I used for getting back into playing.... I've also not seen a tonal issue anywhere I've looked on these.
It's literally so crazy to see people struggle with boxes like these. even at my job i see people struggle with it.
Easy way : Depending on space between the stapples, either place your finger or 2 (!!!) sharper object between both stappled boxsides, the just lift it upwards.
There you go.
I know this is my second comment but the thing that I like about schecter because I do own a synyster Gates guitar (I didn't pick this from a music store,I bought it used off a crackhead for really cheap). I have noticed that their guitars especially the ones with ebony fingerboards, have a really fast feel to them and they play and sound really good especially with those Seymour Duncan Invaders it's got inside.. I am not in any way shape or form a fan of avenged sevenfold, but that guy that has a guitar named after him,he really knows what he's doing when he put that thing together. He must have taken a lot of pointers from the luthiers. Out of all the guitars I own it's probably the fastest one that I have. Plus it's the pointiest and has pinstripes.....lol
Very sick guitar and I'm a fellow lefty as well :D. Though I have 7 ESPs (1 is a right handed guitar my Korn Sir Headly :) ) and because I'm a Japanese American I've always been more into ESPs, Takamine, and Ibanez since for me it's a mixture of both pride and a piece of home. That being said Schecter does seem to make some really nice guitars. I've been looking at this one, Solo-IIFR Apocalypse, and the Hellraiser C-8 hybrid trans black. I don't know if I'll ever venture out and get one, but I do enjoy watching the video :).
More lefty guitar reviews please!
Honestly cool video
I honestly really enjoy your style of playing. Got any recommendation as to how to get into that style?
Love that Schecter is taking care of us lefties. I wish they had more color options, though.
I always was more of an Ibanez guy but i must admit that Schecter is more and more cool with lefties in their catalog, a lot of great models ! thanks for the review, nice to have a lefty review from time to time ;)
Cool guitar man I’m glad you find sth that suits you
Stupid unrelated question, is there sth called Heavy rock blues?
I just bought an omen 8 string. I'm coming from 6 string. I tuned it pretty weirdly. It's in drop f and I use my whammy to get it to drop e and d#.
Alot of people bash on schecter but I've owned two and loved every second with them, even if floyd roses are a pain in the ass lol. Quality instruments
Love me some schecter
Fuck, that's beautiful 😲
I bought the red 6 string with a sustainiac easily my best looking guitar
I was wondering if Crusade has any upcoming concerts in Nasheville and where
Sounds great. But looks really great as well.
I have the 6 string apocalyse Red Reign version of that guitar. Mine however had the sustainiac neck pickup, floyd rose 1500 bridge. grover tuners. What I love about the Red Reign is the wood a body of Swamp Ash and 5 ply neck of Maple/Bubinga. Ebony Frett board w/ roman numeral MoP inlays. Neck has no gloss finish so has no drag. Still I'm Jealous
if you didn't schecter also made a signature model for miles dimitri baker and since he's left handed it would make sense they'd accommodate more lefty options
Hardest thing in the world to find.
A lefty that you actually like. My first seven is arriving today actually.
I ended up going with the Reaper given the look and it has multiscale.
Nice instrument. I reckon Schecter is a good fit for you Mike. :)
It's weird seeing this guy with a smile
"yeah sex is cool, but have you ever gotten a new guitar?"
I’ve gotten at least two more new guitars than I’ve had sex...
So yea I have two guitars.
