Pile 2 resonated. I didn't ask much of my person. I treated them with open heart and wore my heart on my sleeves. I personally believe that this is the universe's way of protecting us. I feel lucky and blessed that he took me for granted and betrayed me when I was giving my wholehearted love on a silver platter. That was two years ago and it took me more than a year to heal fully from the pain. If he had been reciprocal, I would have suffered for years to come as he isn't relationship material due to his unhealed childhood trauma. I still talk to him once in a while and everytime I speak with him and get to know him more (he opens up a lot to me nowadays since I am a psychologist), I feel grateful that he wasn't reciprocal.
