Boards tested: Inferno 72 short and #77 step-up.
Surfer: Michael Ciaramella
All boards made in Onboardstore Bali's surfboard factory.
waves look amazing
You’re low key becoming a really good surfer !
becoming? He's already at least middle advanced
Agreed
Michael Ciaramella, would you prefer the Sharp Eye Storms over the Inferno72 for San Diego waves, i.e, Blacks, Scripps Pier?
Boards from Onboard Bali are sponges.
U talkin about the blanks?
@@maxoweryn7151 i dont know if its the blanks or glassing, but you lose a liter in volume after each surf from compression, lol. Soft AF
what do you do with all the boards you test?
What if you had some super hard raked fins like the coffins
He had in the JJF tech flex which for the speed he was carrying were too stiff. The alpha construction or Blackstix probably woulda allowed him to do those turns and fins flex to allow him to recoup during the turn. For a long time Michel Bourez used the Blackstix EA’s for speed but no bite in island dream wave conditions (my fav for south shore Oahu). Mikey is a wetsuit beach break surfer so it’s an unusual obstacle for him. JJF alters his turn style to accommodate.
@@Luv2Boogie oh I get what you’re saying lmao the complete opposite of what I thought at first and commented
@@nikol3258 you were in the right direction with the rake fin due to their thin tips. Some of this depends on the weight of a surfer and how bowly the section is. He’s also on a dark arts that doesn’t sit in the water at all so he’s traveling at max possible speed, hitting the breaks, and wondering why he’s going over the handle bars.. Literally a recipe for disaster. 🤙 live and learn 🤷♂️

Enough of thefts! Brazilian surfers should leave the WSL and create their own league!.
