I moved to the lower east side Manhattan when I was 32. A dream I always had. There was a kick ass bar on my block called Fontannas. The bartender named Brendon introduced me to these guys. He passed away but what a gift he gave me. This band falls into no category in my eyes. Just warm soothing songs when you are down or in a good mood. Miss you buddy.

Band of Horses needs to be more popular, i was raised on their music since I was a baby due to my mother being s big fan, i am now 20. This is the band i can really turn to in any situation when it can come to my hobby, or just on a road trip, or if I would want to sleep. The music they produce is just phenomenal
I really liked Band Of Horses original member line up with Mat Brooke. Ben Bridwell and Brooke first met while selling pizzas in Tuscon, AZ and would relocate to Olympia, WA and then move to Seattle, where they both ran a pub and Bridwell worked overtime, starting an independent music record company, Brown Records while they also were active, founding members of the band, Carrisa’s Wierd - - Wierd intentionally being misspelled.
They've been around for 20 years? Whaaaaat? Ive worked in radio...in Austin, TX. Where the hell was i NOT LOOKING that i never came across their music? Unbelievable.
