BNSF freight trains in and around San Diego from Apr-May 2016. Caught the usual Daygo manifests, some autoracks, and a little bit of Yard switching down at the Cesar Chavez Pkwy crossing near the Coronado bridge.
1) BNSF 7944 (ES44C4) at Sorrento Valley
2) BNSF 7746 (ES44DC) at Sorrento Valley
3) BNSF 7771 (ES44DC) at Palm St
4) BNSF 7757 (ES44DC) at Palm St...the horn got me here :-0!!
5) BNSF 7700 (ES44DC) on point for some yard switching. Nice horn!
6) BNSF 7749 (ES44DC) at Santa Fe depot.

What frequency do they use for local switching in SD?
Where is palm. St and what is near for that location ? I’m trying to find places to see Bnsf run through I’m coming from Massachusetts I will be using Uber or the mts
Do these trains leaving SD go to the ports of San Bernardino?
The manifest train goes to Barstow and the Auto train goes to Clovis, NM.
