I've been with my husband since I was 14. I got pregnant when I was 16. I'm now 56 and we are still together, we have 2 sons ages 39 and 34. Your family is so awesome! Love watching these videos! Thank you
I've been with my husband since 14, got pregnant at 16 and gave birth at 17. We have 3 boys and 3 girls. Still married any I'm 38 now.

Been with my husband since aged 13. He was the boy next door and was best mates with my brothers. Roll on 44 years, a marriage, 5 kids , 2 grandkids... still holding hands....still in love. X
They are not just beautiful, they really exude human kindness, and you can see it taking root in their fantastic kids. They are helping me cope with 2020.

After my mom told my daddy, he looked at me and said I bet that boy don't even want you. Hurt my feelings so bad because I hadn't saw him since I told him. But that same moment my daddy said that guess who came walking up the street. Yeah it was him. As soon as he came in the house he said sir I need to talk to you. That was 1968 and we had our baby boy in 69. We both were 18. Got married 4 months later. It was a very happy marriage. When he died in2018 he left me with beautiful memories.

Been there girl! I was 17 when I had my daughter back in 1976. NOBODY believed we would make it a yr. We have been married for 45 yrs now. Young couples starting out so early with a baby can make it. I won't lie - it wasn't easy, but we are here today. We have a 17 yr old granddaughter & retired. Just trying to enjoy the rest of our lives. Lots of love to you & your family.

My parents had me at 17. There are 4 of us. My parents married and have been married for 31 years! My childhood was so fun and cool having young parents. They both worked hard take care of our family and still maintain their youth!
Sad to say this phenomenon contradicts what we were taught growing up but I’ve seen countless stories such as these to prove unfamiliar and unwavering naysayers wrong. May that always be the case. God is not subject to anyone’s limitations. Blessings

There are so many realities to this ideology. First, you’re blessed with parents that have the energy to not only provide the fun but participate in it. Sorry, Fans. No sitting this one out! They themselves have the luxury of truly knowing and appreciating what it really means to grow together in love. The journey being the icing on the cake! In this instance, you can gladly have them both; Your cake and eating it too!!! Make sense? How many times have you arrived at a beautiful destination only to get inquiries of the process? What stories do you choose to share? Which ones do you consider of most value or importance? Generally, those which outlines that of the trip. It’s because before you fully arrive, it’s the collection of things along the way that shaped, molded and gave vision to what was produced. I walked in your shoes 47 years ago I was 17 years old when I had my first. I thank God for the man he sent my way a great father and husband 42 years. He’s the love of my life 8 years older than me. My dad didn’t like the fact that I was pregnant. My mom said what are you going to do I said keep my baby. At seventeen I moved out got my own place and have been living a blessed life. Would not have changed it for anything.
I had my baby at 17, it was scary but we managed. You have to just get on with it. He is now at university studying to be a lawyer. I would not change one thing. Great story xx
So get, that the baby came out nice. Abortion is never the option and this shows it. May God Almighty continue to bless in Jesus name.
I had the same problem...and parents didn't want their daughters or sons around me because I was supposed to be a bad example. Now I am Dr. Bennerson...and them....

I have been doing this all of my life, so failure has never been an option for me. I learned to make lemonade with the lemons that I was dealt. I am a better person TODAY because of those falls.

This is an inspiring story cos if someone who runs away from his responsibilities in his 30s will surely regret it after watching this. You guys were just teens but you didn't allow anything to go between you even after this mess ,you just accept it and build a strong family which is an amazing thing 😊Thumb up for this man cos he is a caring man ever since at his teen age.. double blessings.

This world needs more fathers who feel that way!!!!!! I love seeing fathers step up and genuinely love their children and love being involved in ALL aspects of their lives. So many children growing up in this world with no father figure. It’s not just on race, it’s just a shame. Keep being one of the dads who step up and stay involved. I was older and living on my own when I got pregnant. But having to tell my Daddy was the hardest thing I have ever done. It didn't help that I was 24 and my baby's Dad was 41. He was basically the same age group as my parents. But we have been married for 33 years. Best thing that ever happened to me.
Haha, i got pregnant at 23, my mom freaked out and my dad said, shes a grown adult whats the problem lol

I fell pregnant at 16 had my daughter at 17 I was with her dad for 4 years and ran! He refuses to meet his own daughter. I love seeing couples who have kids young and still stay strong 💗

Valerie Shinia this won’t help right now but it does get better! I find my daughter still watches her friends with their dads and can see she’s hurt. But I’ve always told her I’m not a man but I’m your mum and dad I’m here for everything! I’ve never kept anything from her I let her mail him on fb asking to meet 2 years ago and he refused! I think for her that was the point she thought f you!! I’ve always said it’s better having no dad than a bad dad also I just wish these children had two parents that love them! My son sees his dad not as much as he should but they still see each other and I know that hurts my daughter also! Thankfully my dad is amazing and been there for her xx

I was 18 and my husband was 21 we got married I was 19 when I had my first child 21 when I had my second my husband and I just celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary it was never easy that’s that’s that’s what keeps us together
Reading through the comments, I see that many of you have a similar story and made it through with your baby’s father and are still together and even happily married. My story didn’t have the fairytale ending but 41 years later I can say I was gifted with the most beautiful and wonderful daughter any parent could wish for, I feel extremely blessed. Shhhhoooot! Ump! Any parent would freak out if their 16 year old daughter said she was pregnant! Fortunately for them they are still together. Kids generally cant handle that responsibility. Tai stepped up and grew up.👏👏

It's so funny how when a young male/female has peers who tease them for still being a virgin, yet when he/she partakes in the action and the obvious result occurs (PREGNANCY) those same peers/or people want to turn the other cheek and be judgmental... THAT'S WHY it is always important to never abide by others perception of you; you do something under your own decision and responsibility.

Alisha Philbert it’s nice they made it! But as a goal it’s not an ideal. I recall a lot of people being pressured to have babies or get married due to outdated thinking!
My advice would be to take it step by step and keep open possibilities in terms of abortion is open, having the child is open, being together is open, being apart is open! There are no wrongs just choices that need to be made but within time and patience. All choices need to be informed and require a cool calm head.

Dad, YOU are a GREAT man and father! Years into the future you will reap the rewards of your love and caring for your wife and kids! With the videos when your kids are adults, you will have so many wonderful memories to share and when they are married, you can black mail them and tell them if they do not do what you want, you will show some of these videos to their spouse!!!! :) This family is so inspirational and wonderful ! But now I am 12 and my dad runs in and out my life and I can't stand seeing kids growing up without their Father. Just stay strong young lady. Most girls that doesn't have their dads in their life run wild and become very pemiscuos. Guys will say anything you want to hear to get what they want.

I was sooo judgemental back in the day to single parents or teenage parents but there is a need to show love and understanding in retrospect on reflection. When you were younger the whole idea of teenage pregnancy or single parents was such a taboo

I love this story, take it from someone who had an early pregnancy, the panic is real and you do things you wish you hadn't of. You guys were so mature and staying together and Teija is beautiful just like her mom.

What made it easier is the fact that you two had the support of each other, you may not have had the financial support because you were both young...but you two rode it out together and managed to raise a beautiful child..thats a blessing..there are young mums out there who is doing it by themselves and thats when it can be even more difficult..

What a story... Would be amazing to hold sessions with young parents

I had my baby at 20 but I still could've used role models like them when I was young.😊
What a beautiful and classy family. You can tell that they are great parents from the way their children behave. They seem to have such a great family bond. Their videos always make me smile on a bad day.

So I’m on Facebook reacting on messages, automatically you get these clips, some funny some cute, you know how it goes....suddenly there’s the cutes little girl ever singing a song in the car with her daddy (as she calls him) the interaction between these two, the little girl singing and doing her thing and de dad acting af if he’s nog watching her brought such a big smile on my face... so I went on UA-cam and search for more clips and to my delight I found that you have a YT channel TheKabsFamily. I was wondering how you guys became so I subscribe with notification and today I got to see how it all started. I’m a 55 year old black woman from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 but you kids bring a big smile on my face. There is still real love, dedication and hartwarming people out there. Are there many black people in the Netherlands?
@@starmom4497 well, there are quite a few black people in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a small country with a population of only 17 million and I think that maybe 400.000 are black people?? (give and take)

Stressful situation for any young teens. Tay is a good man, a husband & father. They both handled the situation with great maturity. Plus letting their parents know. They genuinely care for & love each other. You make a wonderful family. You both are wonderful humans & parents.
