Ever since they dropped this I have felt like I must not be a good Carat because of all the backlash when I immediately thought how much I love it. I actually like it better than version 2. I’m like a baby carat and I’m not into the ver 3 lightstick but the way you did the unboxing made it not look as bad as I thought it was. Ver 2 is definitely more aesthetically pleasing to look at but the changing colours on ver 3 and the name rings don’t look too bad. Ordering now 😆
I can’t get around to liking this light stick at all. Seeing it beside ver 2 just makes it worst, I’m sorry😭 I just think it has no flavour at all, like I wouldn’t design that for any group at all. The black is one thing but the diamond is what I dislike the most. I’m glad you like it though

Idk man but to me as a carat even before our official colors were introduced (from 17tv era) this lightstick is so insulting to us 😭 it’s literally our very own identity & pride as carats, talking as someone who loves b&w stuffs. I wish I can be at least neutral with this but I’m sorry this is just a no for me 😢 will stick with my ver2 caratbong even when they stop sync with the concert venue in future.
As a new Carat, looking forward to getting my first Caratbong, it'll be my 2nd lightstick first one being BTS' Map of the Seoul lightstick. I find that the 3rd generation groups from small companies that helped make their company grow as well as produced their music on their own are the one's I stan even more because they tell the stories that they want to tell and the experiences they gain overtime and as they grow.
I literally made a list of Pros and Cons for the cbv3. I personally still dont like it... the orginal Cbv1 still reigns supreme in my heart. CBV3 PROS: - I like the handle shape, its sleeker and slimmer. - I like that the battery cap is at the bottom so it looks more seamless. The cbv2 battery cap line always annoyed me cause it was so obvious. - smoother texture, i never liked the bubbly texture of cbv2 it was a bit too much for me so the smoother handle of cbv3 is good. - the rose & serenity light options were nice cause it didnt need bluetoith to activate so u can use it whenever. (Like if your ls doesnt synch at the venue or if u attend an unofficial event or stream in your room) - i prefer that it doesnt look as bright as cbv2 (personal preference i know carats prefer the cbv2 brightness, its a bit much for me) CBV3 CONS: - the lack of fandom colors is the biggest NO NO for me. Rose Quartz & Serenity is essential for the CB. Its just not Svt without it. Nothing can top the irredecent glow of cbv2. - the annoying seam on the dome makes the lightstick look cheap. - the diamond is meh (they have a similar diamond attachment as the cbv1 keyring set), cbv2 still has the most beautiful diamond. - No bluetooth app??? i will miss the candle, therapy, party settings ToT - The deco ring set is a bad idea... what if you accidentally break one ring? All the other rings will just end up hanging loosely... and you have to buy another full set? - The box & box set: The box material is way cheaper and flimsier, it will get easily damaged in transit. There is no cohesiveness or thought into product set, the lighstick bag, strap and box dont even have the right shade of blue! They recycled the cbv1 box design. They didnt even include a photocard set while other Hybe groups have them. The price is too much for this lack luster production. Thats all my personal PROS & CONS.
@@jtotheimin update: the cbv3's diamond base apparently isnt screwed on well and there was a carat that had their diamond slip off while at the concert. Also the decorings names fade off after use which is so bad ToT

The thing is, I actually saw some kcarats spray-paint and color the cbv3 in rose quartz and serenity, and I think those diy version I could go for! I like them better haha. But honestly, I'd still want a cbv2 cuz it's just so prettyyyyy! It's perfect for my taste. The aesthetics.

Like compared to the Army Bomb, which obviously had an upgrade but she's still so similar so I love that this one is so different from Version 2! I watched your video to learn how to put on the deco rings thank you so much. 🙈 I struggled when V3 came out, was thinking if I should buy it. I ended up purchasing it because I wanna support the boys, they are using it in Super fanchat guide video, & since the app itself was out I guess in future concerts only V3 caratbong could be connected. The design is really great esp the ring deco part, is just the colour it's not our offical colours and somehow makes it not seventeen feels and vibes anymore. When I placed my V2 & V3 caratbong side by side, I felt the wrench in my heart, so I'm the carat that's having mixed feelings, but I'll still cherish both my caratbongs & keep them well. I'm glad to come across your review video which is a postive one & I'm glad you like the V3 caratbong. :]
i saw from another carat in tiktok, you can click the right bottom a bit longer till it flashes some colors, and the lights can be automatically changed when you shake it. edit: i wrote this comment, before your video showed you finally found out how to do it 😂

ver 2 has flicker blink n on not bluetooth dedicated mode just activtates as u trun it on hold right for shake mode on ver 3
