ERRATA: At 19:12 I misspoke and said 'A gigabitethernet interface can run at 10, 100, or 1000 GIGABITS per second.' It's MEGABITS, not GIGABITS. Sorry!
Elon Musk: Hold my beer.
I noticed it, but don't worry we know it is in megabit. thank you boss.
@Zayden Emery Hey guys if it wasn't obvious, don't trust that.

1000 Gigabits per scond ! imagine the velocity of that thanks to Jeremy IT lab, the fastest lab in the world :)
1000 time thanks for learnmaterial
The trouble this guy went through to do these videos had to be sustained only by a real desire to help people! Not an easy thing to put together and before his first video, he had to think it out to get the result he intended. I don't know the guy, but he has a heart, that is for sure. Thanks dude.
Thank you! :)
These videos do take a long time to plan and make, but I enjoy it :)
@@JeremysITLab For Some reason (likely the thought of risking my self esteem :), when first looking at the labs in Anderson's course, I was intimidated by the labs. The terms were not as well explained. With this course, the terms explained in such a way where you can mentally make the connection between terms and task.
This guys a certified Mason
I agree. God bless @JeremysITLab
He is sooo cool 😊
After 1 day break im back, I had one day full of interviews from my current job that I dont like at all. I swear to my shoul: Once I get my first money as Network Engineer, I will make a BIG donation to my friend Jeremy. I call him friend because he is helping me to go through hard times.
Where I live in Greece, the only option for a job is in the hotel industry: To welcome people and pretend that you are happy when you are not, plus for 7 months you have to be apart from your family. i was searching to find a job around Europe in this field and it wasnt easy I had not many options.
thats why I study everyday und I use all of my free time to learn as best I could to become Network Engineer and get my CCNA in order to find a job outside of Greece, so I could be with my family and not traveling all the time.
Thanks, Jeremy
How is it going friend?
i wish you best of luck my friend, keep it up and you WILL succeed!
@solarfr0st not easy cause I'm also after the German language lessons, but when I'm aiming for something, always focus on the target.
Thanks m8
@@curious1767 thanks m8
Good luck!!!
Sir Jeremy`s, you deserve an award for best tutor in the world, you teach so simplified, thank you so much Sir for your time given to help us. your series is the best

Never imagined I'd reach this far. You are a legend. I will tell stories of you to my grand children.
Bro iam a noobie to networking
But after watching your videos everyday
I believe i can pass the exam in 3 months
All love brother ❤
update?
Man!!! These videos are right on time! I can’t even begin to tell you about the level of depth you go in and the delivery is pure perfection!!!! I love it!!! This is a blessing bro
Thanks for the comment Steven!
I'm about halfway through this course and I must say Jeremy you are an absolute legend, I was really struggling to learn networking fundamentals and all the other youtube videos just over complicated things massively but your style of tutoring and the addition of the flashcards has made this not easy but very doable for me to learn and eventually master(hopefully). Thank you so much. I'm currently studying in preparation for my first year at university and wanted to get a head start and this has given me that head start :)
Amazing videos!! Thank you so much, Jeremy. I checked many other sources and your videos are the best - on point, clear, step by step, good quality and amazing presentation in general! And it's free!!
I really appreciate the efforts you're doing to help us learning new things. Thanks a lot.
This is the best course that i have tried so far. Not like other tutors who have just recycled thier old material or tried to cut and paste thier tutorials. This course shows the amount of effort that has been put in. In the end, I really hope Jeremy makes a CCNP course as well.
I love the series so far. I am on day 13 and am looking forward to completing this course. Commenting this on every video for the algorithm.
This is the best tutorial ever I have seen… hats off for your effort
Thank you for regularly pointing out other line items certain commands spit out as important but not applicable in the particular case! Keeps the direction of the content steady, so it's very helpful as someone who gets curious but derailed often.
Thanks :) Yeah there's a lot of stuff you can look at in the output but it's not all necessarily relevant to what we're doing. I like to just point some of it out ;)
reviewer purposes :D

Jeremy I love the way you explain things, the resources you provide, and the passion you express. I am grateful for your program and helping thousands of us get closer to success.
Thanks, glad you like the videos :)
Jeremy, best videos on the Internet; thanks. I want to raise you Show Interface Counters Errors for Quiz 3. I use that one a LOT when troubleshooting anything Layer-1. Pretty much ends up with replace transceivers and cables/fiber and hope for better if an error counter is ... counting.
Best ccna videos on UA-cam yet and I've watched alot. 😁

Hi, Jeremy! First of, great videos, comprehensive and not abstruse, unlike many other videos on the subject. A few questions though:
Is that a complete course or you still add videos into the course? Does it provide enough info to actually pass a CCNA?
Once again, great stuff, I enjoy doing the course!

7:12 different "Status" column values
We will find "err-disabled" value in that column in "Day 49 - Port Security"
thank you. what a great content. my heartful thanks to you brother
Thank you :)
PERFECT
Kudus. great compilation
in addition *"Switches can dynamically detect the speed setting on a particular Ethernet segment by using a few different methods. Cisco switches (and many other devices) can sense the speed using the Fast Link Pulses (FLP) of the auto-negotiation process. However, if auto-negotiation is disabled on either end of the cable, the switch detects the speed anyway based on the incoming electrical signal. You can force a speed mismatch by statically configuring different speeds on both ends of the cable, causing the link to no longer function.*
*Switches detect duplex settings through auto-negotiation only. If both ends have auto-negotiation enabled, the duplex is negotiated. However, if either device on the cable disables auto-negotiation, the devices without a configured duplex settings must assume a default. Cisco Switches use a default duplex setting of half duplex (HDX) (For 10-Mbps and 100-Mpbs interfaces) or full duplex (FDX) (for 1000-Mbps interfaces)*
Thank you very much Mr Jeremy
