I just got some for my 2nd gen last month. What a pain in the ass, didn’t know they unscrewed to get the coupler in between but still had to sand it down to get it tight enough.
@@SnailTrail4x4 Can they be physically reversed like that? I would think they'd be keyed and can only go in one way. I'll take it all apart again and see what's what.
I just got a 95 2nd gen bone stock. I wanna put some bigger tires but I dont know how big I can go on the stock rims with no lift. You ever look into it and figure out a good tires size in the past with yours?
I got a 1995 toyota 4runner. I followed your instructions. It worked really well for the right hand headlight. I do the same for the left hand. When I turned on to test it, left hand light is working but the right headlight is not turning on. I tried to swap them, but the right headlight is not working (the light bulb is good). I realized if i have them both hooked up, the high beam on the left is on. It wouldn’t go to lower beam. When I unplugged the right headlight, the left light is good for low and high beams. I bought the LED lights that you recommended. Any suggestions what to do to fix that. Thanks!

I'm sorry I didn't get this video out sooner to solve your problems. Hopefully this will help others
Just did my '93. Could not have gone easier thanks to your video. Thank you so much.
Thanks I really appreciate it
@@SnailTrail4x4 Oh nos! I just tried out the lights, and the low and high are reversed. Do you know which two wires do I need to switch?
@@kenjhee wow, that's odd, try rotating them 90 or 180... Those light go into projectors and they could be in the wrong position

@@kenjhee -- maybe I'm thinking of a difference set up, but I thought you could twist them around once they were connected
Any way you would be willing to share the link of the brand you purchased?

Sounds like you got a bad pair
@@SnailTrail4x4 i fixed it. I just changed the headlight fuse, and it works really well.
Did the high and low beams work correctly with the ground switch system or did you do the relay upgrade?
Yes that solves the problem
@@SnailTrail4x4what would you say to do if my brights aren’t activating?
What brand or light did ya use? Do ya have a link?
This is my same rig. Ideas!
