You can't compare BTS to ANYONE, or their dancing style. They are not KPOP, they are a genre all their own. Nobody can even come close to their perfection.

The "Mic Bungee" bit doesn't exactly mean drop. It just means they are dropping it for the next person to catch.

Then you asked if one of them is Jung Kook, and you were right. That IS Jung Kook. He rapped in their earlier songs (he was 15-17 yrs oldish) “No More Dream”, “We Are Bulletproof pt 2”, “NO”.

J-Hope is the first one that rapped with the bucket hat, and SUGA was the second one that he passed the mic to "Mic Mic Bungee", and the third rapper was RM, he's the main rapper and Group Leader.

The first Rapper with the hat on who had red hair later was J Hope. The Rapper with the white hair was the second Rapper that's Suga (aka Agust D). The third Rapper and their Leader who Rapped in English is RM yeah he speaks perfect English so will often write lyrics in not only Korean but also in English and the other's go to him for help with English.

Mic bungee as in -- one guy drops the mic, it bungees (like bungee cord) up to the next rapper.
If you watch their dance practice for the Mic Drop MAMA dance practice, you can see who is who a little bit better. Plus, it has a lot more dance breaks and is really good 🙂
I love that Steve Aoki loved the original version so much that he didn't change it up, but just embellished the sound.

I know you have reacted to few of their videos, but I still want to give you a short summary about them.
BTS consists of three rappers and four vocalists. All seven of them are excellent dancers.
They do a wide variety of music, but basically they are rooted in hip-hop.
All seven members participate in making their songs by writing, composing, and producing them.
BTS started with a small company that almost went bankrupt, so they have been very looked down and hated by Korean broadcasting stations and other K-pop fandom. So they have struggled from the beginning to prove themselves.
Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance, these three songs were released in English to give positive energy to people around the world during the pandemic caused by Covid-19.
Most of their songs are in Korean, and their music video provides subtitles in several languages, including English.
The lyrics of BTS' songs are based on their own experiences, and their albums are organic because they contain their growth narrative. BTS are famous for their deep and meaningful lyrics. They have written almost 95% of their songs from their discography.
BTS offers a wide range of genres when it comes to their music. As a group they are explosive but they are also individually amazing in their different style of music. They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there are quite a few of their over 300 songs that suit your taste. :)
Another song I recommend is "Run BTS". Their is no official MV for this one, they have a dance practice video and their live performance from their free Busan concert.

I think BTS is the only group with 3 rappers. 2 came from underground rap (RM and Suga aka Agust D) and J-Hope (street dancer learned rap after joining the agency with the help of RM and Suga).
As a bts fan I’m not the biggest fan of this song. Check out UGH! And Rain By bts if you want rap. I also recommend checking out Daechwita by Agust D (Suga from BTS)
Yeah, Mic Drop is a fun hype club banger kind of song, but it doesn't show off their lyricism or skills.
BTS are in the Korean military right now, so it is a great time to go down the BTS rabbit hole! Concerts are songs by all 7, songs by 3 rappers, songs by 4 vocalists, and each has a solo career. Takes about 6mths to ready get it! They are amazingly talented.
