I in the same boat!! Haven't flown since the early 80's. I just received my titan today. Will have it at the field next Saturday when the club trainers are there.
@@anthonyhendricks7377 nice going! I actually moved countries since that comment and haven't gotten around to anything at all. Great reminder of this little gem being out on the market. Once I bought a Jamara Piper Cub and it was massively underpowered, I couldn't do much with it. I then went to a club where I knew someone and he flew it around like in one circle at 3ft before calling it a day. We just didn't have good value options back then. Cheap meant crapgh pretty much. This one is so capable and versatile, I'm very keen to give it a go! I hope you'll enjoy yours heaps and kickstart a long lost hobby and passion again.

Greetings from Key West Naval Air Station, Nice flight James, I have the original Titan that flies on a 2200 3S, it flies with authority, going to upgrade to this, probably use a 2200 4S in it.
This is identical to the Tech One Air Titan which was a great flying plane. I had the night version but lost it due to the elevator delaminating in flight and caused loss of control. Hopefully they also upgraded the hardware, if not you should do that. Also, the stock tail wheel needs to be replaced. This looks like the same one and will fail in the first few flights. There is a short thread on RC groups for the Tech One version. Wheels do need upgraded as well, they are really hard and cause bouncing on almost every landing.
Hey James, two questions I didn't recall seeing addressed in the manual but curious what you used:
1.) What throw settings do you use on the flaps? I dropped mine the first time and she nosed up really hard even with a good CG so I'm wondering if I need to back off of my flap travel or, which brings me to my second question:
2.) Are you using any elevator/flap mix and if so what are your settings?
I'm trying to fly these big 1500+mm warbirds at my house (I've got a nice long concrete driveway) and I've got about 2 acres but I've also got tall trees all the way around my house. I'm trying to set this thing up for a pretty steep descent so that once clear the trees I'm headed down to my driveway pretty quickly so I can rollout w/out running out of room.
Hey buddy. Before deploying flaps try slowing down even more. Shes a high wing trainer and can almost crawl. But My full flaps are at 45 degrees even and half flaps are half of that. I had no mix on flap and elevator.
A Bright Orange would have been a much better visible color scheme and stronger Plastic Wheel Rims.
