Good review/video. At one point I started wondering which one id most enjoy if I bought them all to play with friends, and then you went right into describing the style of each deck.

Bought a Golgari Guild Kit and reformed it into a -1/-1 Deck by now. Really helpe, would rate 9/10, Bonus points for the pin and sticker (I actually understand and justify the Golgari points irl)
I can't wait for February when the second group of decks come out. Simic is my favorite guild and Azoius my Wife's. I may pick one if these up for collection's sake but I really want those two for casual play with the Mrs.
I bought the Dimir one because i really liked the Legendary, its the first one ive seen that ive wanted to make a commander deck with; i played it against one of my brothers modern red decks and it actually held its own pretty decently: it still lost, but it was 2-1, and each game was SUPER close, usually going down to "if i dont draw what i need i lose" territory. These guild kits are VERY fun to play with.
I actually used pieces of the selesnya deck to help build a Tolsimir Wolfblood Edh deck and I’ve gotta say I really enjoy it. I’ve bought 3 of these different decks and I don’t regret any of them.
I bought Selesnya and Dimir ones yesterday. I paid 65$CA for both which is more expensive than USA (singles here are not worth more in $CA than $US). But, despite of that i'm pretty happy with the product. It has all I was asking WoTC for in a long time. Collectibility is here. I really love the basic lands design. Good reprints. I can't give an opinion yet on the gameplay of Dimir Vs Selesnya. I intend to play with them tomorrow. But, hey kudos to Wizard to have for one time listen to players feedback and desingned a product that is appealing.
I really appreciate how honest you are in your videos. You keep WOTC honest and don’t shy away from criticism but also commend them where they deserve it. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the video Professor! I was thinking about picking one of these up but was uncertain. Your video helped clear up all my questions. Thanks!
IZZET WORTH IT, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, FUNNY
I got back into Magic because of your review of the Challenger decks (and all the Pauper talk because Pauper is just such an interesting concept) But when I heard how excited you sounded about these? I was checking for local sellers before the video was even done.
I'm so glad to see WOTC actually put out a really nice supplementary product for once. I immediately went and bought all five after watching this review.
Wow....its been...YEARS since wizards put out anything worth buying
The latest M19 planeswalker decks are what got me, my wife and kids into MTG; I have received immense value from those decks.
@@cpnhowdyCongrats!
I still retain my stance they those things are ripoffs and that you could've received the same or greater sentimental/entertainment value out of other, more consumer friendly versions of MTG product; Such as the above Guild Kits or Rookie Decks. Maybe even the Commander sets if you could find one you like at msrp or less.
Yet, I keep spending money...
The challenger decks also where awsome
The commander's decks keep being insane value too
Good review/video. At one point I started wondering which one id most enjoy if I bought them all to play with friends, and then you went right into describing the style of each deck.
Tfw Wizards are shilling for the professor
Damn straight.
I was curious if you ever considered doing a contest to play cube with your fans. Maybe a visit to their LGS, or even yours? Your enthusiasm at playing cube inspired me to make my own!
Mmmm Selesnya.
After I watched this video I contacted my LGS right away to pick up a Selesnya Guild Kit. I was the last one to get it. Thank you so much for the review prof!
Heh, Izzet.
Don't golgari for it. Not worth going for boros. But oh selesnya
@@MrVariant I take a very Dimir view of those kits.
@@gabrielgrey2253 damn mythic spoiler confused me a bit as it showed gatecrash guilds when I searched. Here's the actual spoiler: www.mtgpics.com/set?set=300
Feels like a lotta mechanics are combo oriented or win more honestly, though at least selesnya is nice for resellers
I got all 5 for sale last week for !!!!!$89.99!!!!! It may just seem like 2 dollars off per deck but after seeing your video Prof., I cannot be happier. Value value value! I cannot wait to play with these awesome precons
Izzet worth it to give me a like professor? =P
Yes
Actually bought some guild kits and singles from cardkingdom with your link. Love you Prof.!!!
This host claims to study English in school. Yet how many times does he over use the word "literally"? Not to mention in extremely questionable context. WTF?
Shattered Knight better call the English police
@@buddyWalrus ? WTF are you talking about?
Literally now has meaning in the figurative sense son
Don't be that guy though
Literally literally can be used figurative. That's literally facts.
@@BimdoeDoll "Can be". Means nothing.
Bought a Golgari Guild Kit and reformed it into a -1/-1 Deck by now. Really helpe, would rate 9/10, Bonus points for the pin and sticker (I actually understand and justify the Golgari points irl)
Originally only bought two. Ordered the other three. They look like casual fun. I hope to see Bant kits or Mardu kits when we return to other planes.
Man, your the best! I learn sooo much with your insight, experience and knowledge! Keep up the great work....
It'd be sweet if they made more of these. I can only find them on ebay atm.
Was waiting for this review. Only a smidge disappointed that there is no MTG Arena code included. Thanks, Prof!
I bought the dimir kit, and have loved it so far. I dont normally play mill, but out of the box it worked surprisingly well against rivals and legacy decks.
FINALLY! A genuinely exciting preconstructed product. I will be ordering a set of all five in the near future. :D
the product also just looks really appealing, getting closer to those fancy pokémon boxes. these boxes will get peoples attention pretty easily with the bright colors
Awesome review professor! We appreciate all the work you put into this.
Please make a video explaining the differences between all of the guilds. Thanks!
