One of the useful things u have mentioned regarding trekking. But I want to add one thing is adjusting according to the hight. Cause it may cause headaches so drink plenty of water.
Keep some strong belt or rope always . Check the Scouts :"Commando rope:" Nowdays a bundle of jute strings and /or 550 Paracord are popular. They have lot of uses. But best is to tie your teams mates on edgy dangerious climbs or while crossing a water bodies....
Good video. Pretty darn close to my layout. I know a lot of hikers use phone apps for hiking and u had your phone on list. I think map and compass or navigation device should be #1 . Again good video. Made me sub😎
How about a Lighter... To light a fire? And a knife. Also keep a mini shovel to dig / to bury waste products. Get my drift? Also keep some water purifying pills, or, use filters to procure drinkable water from streams. One more thing might come in handy... Some tapes/ bandages to cover the blisters on your feet. I Don't use woolen gloves, they collect snow flakes and get soppy wet.

Hi, please help me to choose right trek pant for chandrashila tungnath trek. This is my first trek dont know what to wear and choose right gear. Please help me out. Thank you
Hi Swathi, Do you think that carrying water purifiers would be helpful during treks? My concern is the possibility of catching serious water bourne illnesses while trekking, which would possibly ruin the whole trek experience. While I have only done day treks, I sufficed with carrying 2 ltrs from home. However, I'm quite unfamiliar with camping. Does everyone drink directly from river water or do you all have a purification process?
In the Himalayas, on our high altitude treks, we camp only next to potable water sources. They don't need any purification. But if you're trekking on your own, you could carry a Lifestraw, or perhaps betadine solution. Just two drops of it in your water will purify it.
My camera system consists of one camera, three lenses, some filters, shutter release cables and one tripod any of which I cannot do away with. Any idea of carrying these things easily?

I've experienced that if you keep a candy in your mouth while trekking you get less thirsty as washrooms are not available in many areas.
