@Paolofromtokyo you need to a colab with Josh & Ollie from Korean Englishman and Jolly. They love good and unique food from Korea and around the world. They should do a food tour of Japan and meet up with you!
PLEASEE i need to know why on earth the sunagimo dish was $370 but the very next dish was only a few dollars? ive tried to research it and it seems like the internet has no idea if sunagimo or zuri piman or chicken gizzards is worth 300 for a tiny plate of it? please clear this up for me its kinda spinning me out. im all for expensive ingredients like truffle and caviar n that but was this just a typo or what? thanks Paolo
I know this might be not what’s is usually type of food you erm film 🎥 ❓but there’s something called that’s really popular called Kuma Chan Onsen in Shibuya it’s hard to describe but it looks really cool unfortunately I can’t go there because of personal circumstances
One of my favorite youtubers. Love the way he films, his commentary, his personality and the fact that he gets to show a side of Japan that we would never see otherwise.
Definitely would love to see more YATAIKEIJI on your channel. You'd be throughly impressed how much goes into getting a stall ready and how much care he puts into his craft 👍🏾
I really enjoy watching the staff interaction in front of the camera because you get how they gauge with the customer's reaction. That way, soon-to-be customers know how the staff are when the customer approaches.
Paolo- watch out! Wolfie is gunning for your job!! Sooo cute!!! Thank you for your videos- heading to Japan this summer and I have been tagging your recommendations like crazy!
Dude, I was here last month. Pretty cool watching this video. That was my first trip to Japan. After years of watching Paolo got me fully prepared! Keep it up brother!
Having watched your videos, it's been really nice seeing Japan vicariously through you and your family's eyes. You certainly know how to guide the masses who could be ignorant of all the neat and interesting facets of Japan. Thank you for such entertaining and informative content. :)
That yaki ramen with tonkotsu looks so addictive! I think Yatai culture is super cool and unique. Wolfy is a whole vibe and so adorable. It's super precious to have them in the videos, family all together! Gizzards are one of my favs and with beansprouts looks even better! Moyashi is so cruncy!! Great video!
Well that was a fun and mouth-watering experience (as usual for this channel). It’s kind of funny though, I just took a break from working on my own Japanese food video to watch Paolo’s. (Actually, I uploaded a teaser video as a short last night, if anyone is curious the scene here in Ise.) Anyway, keep up the awesomeness, Paolo!!
I love how japanese restaurant/food stall owner mostly give you their best advice. They are mostly honest and would tell you what best you can order based on your preference. They not just trying to sell you their food and care less whether you satisfied with their service or not
This was pure torture!!! Even with snacks at the ready, seeing that scrumptious food was agonizing. Thanks for another fantastic, salivating worthy, video ❤
Paolo, when I was a kid, from 1988-1992, I was in Yokota AFB, and we went to festivals in Fussa regularly. I would love to see content from Fussa if possible. Thank you!
Wooww this video is so refreshing! Thank you for showing us other city in Japan (beside tokyo, kyoto, osaka) with very interesting food!! I think you should do more cities!!!😍
I had a great experience at Yatai Keiji in Fukuoka ! When you visit Fukuoka avoid the Yatai that doesn't have a price listed. You're most likely going to be ripped off. Also great thing about Yatai Keiji is he accepts credit card payments!!! Recommend the Hakata Ramen of course and the smoked meat/cheese assortment
As someone who frequents the yatai scene, both on trips to the country and at home in the US, it was so awesome to see Keiji featured! I always make it a point to seek him out every time I get deployed.
These videos are so informative and your reaction to the food makes it a must to try. Thank you for your time and your family too. By the way, still have the hot sauces available.
I can relate when it comes to tasting some delicious wagyu. Makes me remember my trip to Japan when I tasted some myself. Wish I could go back tomorrow in order to get some again.
this is awesome. i watch japanese yatai videos at late night eating ramen with your hot sauce like every week. Ive been waiting for you to go to one :)
I am lactose intolerant and that ice cream looks fantastic and so does that waffle. Thanks for sharing.. all of that food looks fantastic. I am a foodie and just loving what I see. Can't wait to visit Japan. I am traveling to Taiwan for 35 days at the end of this month and will take a short trip to China and Japan. Love you channel. Keep up the great content.
I'm pretty sure I recognise the chap in the background of the video at 2.04. Sat at the bottom left corner with the cap on backwards, I think we met him waiting for a flight out of Fukuoka a few years ago. He told us he was American but had lived in and owned a bar in Fukuoka for many years. Only chatted to him briefly but he was a really friendly cool guy.
Love all of these choices you made. They look so delicious!! For the last place, I know plenty of people in Japan would love to know about him. I watch other UA-camrs who are always looking for healthier and allergy safe options.
So glad you made this video. I will be going to Fukuoka in October. I hope to try Papa's Puff Stand. The idea of making bubble waffles without eggs, milk, or gluten is very interesting, I must try it.

Dude need to bring the foodgasm effects lol. Miss the chimes and the lights. Keep killing the game.

Hi, Paolo! it's Abe from YATAIKEIJI.
Thanks for coming to the shop the other day! Please come and see me again when you come to Fukuoka!
dude it looks awesome!
this should be pinned 🙂- it's rare to see someone actually featured in the video in the comment section!
Your Ramen dish looks fabulously good!
beautifully made stall. great work
Such an awesome food stall. Hope I can visit when I go to Hakata next year!
When Paolo asked for 2 ramen but the guy recommended one ,saying the amount of ramen is big there; I like that response!
Agreed. He was honest about the size of the dish and wasn't trying to sell more (even if he could).
this man is single handedly increasing tourism in Japan!
I am so hungry for real food, Get me the Hell over to Japan.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
abroad in japan also. these both create great content
That ain’t a good thing according to the locals
You’re not wrong, I actually went to a couple of food stalls, in Tsukiji market that had “as seen on Paolo from Tokyo” signs
Implying there's not already overtourism in Japan which there is
なんといっても家族みんな人生を楽しんでいる様子が伝わってくるのがこちらのチャネルの好きなところです。
Your son is so funny and growing really fast. I won't get surprised if he becomes a vlogger like you. He got a lot of potential.
Paolo is going to need to be careful his son doesn't outdo him. It won't be long. :D
One of my favorite youtubers. Love the way he films, his commentary, his personality and the fact that he gets to show a side of Japan that we would never see otherwise.
Yes !
朝からパオロニキの飯テロでワクワクが止まんねえぞ!
Definitely would love to see more YATAIKEIJI on your channel. You'd be throughly impressed how much goes into getting a stall ready and how much care he puts into his craft 👍🏾
Love Wolfy’s approval expression of flavor joy!
I'm actually moving to Hakata in July and I'm definitely going to stop by some of your recommendations, I appreciate it!!
Although I couldn’t speak the language I’m very appreciated that Paolo made the Japanese subtitle for every videos!
I really enjoy watching the staff interaction in front of the camera because you get how they gauge with the customer's reaction. That way, soon-to-be customers know how the staff are when the customer approaches.

You have convinced me to travel to Japan instead of Europe. I live in California. And I love your videos..
That ice cream sandwich out looked absolutely dropped dead gorgeous
Well that was a fun and mouth-watering experience (as usual for this channel). It’s kind of funny though, I just took a break from working on my own Japanese food video to watch Paolo’s. Your little boy🤣 so precious ❤
I love how japanese restaurant/food stall owner mostly give you their best advice. They are mostly honest and would tell you what best you can order based on your preference. They not just trying to sell you their food and care less whether you satisfied with their service or not
You have the best UA-cam job in the world. Eating the tastiest food all day and visiting every city in Japan 👌🏻
This was pure torture!!! Even with snacks at the ready, seeing that scrumptious food was agonizing. Thanks for another fantastic, salivating worthy, video ❤
The content, the commentary and warm of the whole video. No one does it better than Paolo and Maiko.
Thank you for the wonderful video of the insane Japanese food stall tour 👍
Wow, the new opening riff music is super cool!
9:43 Interesting to see that the Stroopwafel has made its entrance in Japan
All of the food looked amazing, but that Bari Choco looked next level! I need to visit Japan soon! Thanks for the upload, Paolo!
Last year, I went to Yatai Keiji and it's been amazing. Nice to see it again and still thriving.

Awesome video as always Paolo. You always find the most incredible foods and places to eat and experience.
Having morning coffee, but the pan fried gyoza in the cast iron skillet with the spicy sauce!! 🤤😋

Bro. Japan is food heaven!
Nothing quite like Paolo enjoying gastronomy!! Those pleasure grunts after taking bites or sips!
Can you show a day in the life of food safety specialist in japan please???
Nice! I have seen the second food cart guy before in other videos here on youtube.
Such a fun and energetic guy

Went to that branch of Hakata Issou last year. Adding in crushed garlic roughly half way through really elevates the experience.
Thanks, Paolo, for another super video. I'm definitely going to Fukuoka now!
This is so awesome. Thanks for sharing these delectable finds. Mabuhay ka Paolo. :)
So awesome I'll be there in a few weeks. Looking forward to trying this out.

Respect for those people working so hard, not a easy job.
