6:03 There's something in those words that makes me well-up whenever I hear/read that quote. Those are the words of a person that feels unaccomplished in life no matter what they do, but have done a great deal to help others more than they helped themselves. It really hits me hard when Jim Gordon reads the quote at the end of TDKR representing how Bruce/Batman has never really felt accomplished no matter how much no does because he's constantly looking to improve Gotham and fight crime, but he never really could enjoy all of the good he has done for the city and (assuming) he died feeling unaccomplished and never knowing true happiness :(

No work life balance, 😂 works night and day. Maybe he got into the wrong thing and it was too late to change paths. Thats why I like the end of the dark knight trilogy... He just walks away.

This was AMAZING! You took a book that is so difficult to read that I had to download an app called Litcharts to be able to follow along and boiled it down to an insightful 6:00. Bravo! I loved this book and was my gateway drug to Dickens.

So you didn’t have enough time to read 900+ pages, and came here to watch this video?
Because you didn’t have 36 hours to listen to the audiobook?
So you find the shortest UA-cam video that condenses the story into 6 minutes… And you want to tell people they need to condense it into three minutes?
What a failure you are to the human race. You are just taking up space and oxygen.

You actually answered your own stupid question, By saying you were “told”
Perhaps if you weren’t so lazy and actually read the book for yourself (rather than HAVE to rely on someone else to read it FOR YOU, and From that, deduce that it is bad, then you might be able to have your OWN opinion.
Oh that’s right… You had your “own opinion” regardless. even though you never pick the book up and read it yourself! LOL!
Boy, your parents must really be proud of you. Not!
