Thanks for this upload. I miss the '90s so much....Something positive of the lockdown: I discovered 2-3 exceptional Djs and producers + u did this amazing work. Tks again !
No hate on the music being made today, but I do miss this sound! This 90s sound is one of a kind, more atmospheric and intelligent. I feel the stuff now is more melodic, and again, no hate, but I miss these journeys this 90s sound used to take me on. Thanks for the post!
I've made a few tracks that hopefully capture this time using very much the same hardware. Check my channel out. I really do feel this era was special and have the most respect for bukem , photek , peshay and all other pioneer's to name but few.
Fantastic mix, but it could use some cleaning up! The high frequencies are almost non-existent :( Obvious artifacting from the tape conversion process, likely because the tape itself was worn. Still, these tunes are classic! Thanks for the upload.
i have quite a few old DJ tapes. its a shame so many were recorded at such a bad quality. ive yet to understand how they managed to record them so terribly as i used to record myself when messing around on the decks, at that time, and the quality was always fine. whats even more dumb is they used to charge a small fortune for these tapes at the clubs/events. i think it was probably just some dodgy event promoter sitting with his cassette player recording directly from the speakers than using a proper line out port from the amp.
I was living in London in 94. Pirate radio on full blast when I came home from the pub or clubs. Great times to look back on.
1993 and 1994 are some Awesome years💯 Wish I was listening to THIS, LTJ Bukem👑, when I was in Highschool💯! #BetterEra
