Talking about his voice, talking about how he "doesn't sound like he used to", the man is 78 years old, he played this songs for almost 50 years, and now the new generations can experience this songs live for the first time ever, and instead that you're being grateful that he is still playing and singing and doing live gigs, you are pinpointing things. BE GRATEFUL that you had the chance to see David Gilmour live.

Thank you very much for the recording, I was there and it was really special. To all the people complaining about David's voice, please have in mind that Roger Waters has been lip synching for more than 20 years on his shows. Yes, Gilmour has not been perfect on this tour, but the man is 78 is giving the best he can and at least that is real.

lol you never hear one complaint from anyone who was there, only from people watching on their computer. It's a live show, not something designed to be shot on a phone and watched on a laptop. People pay a lot of money for the atmosphere, communal experience etc. They're also bringing decades of love for the artist and they don't give a shit about occassional fluffed notes or if a 78 year-old doesn't sound the way he used to. If you're not enjoying it at home, no-one cares - it wasn't staged for you to watch at home.
I'm flying to LA in October to see Gilmour for the first time. It feels like a now or never moment. I anticipate being quite emotional. Growing up, he had a profound influence on me, and I had come to terms with the idea that I'd never see him perform live. However, this chance presented itself and it was impossible to resist. Having seen the atmosphere and setlist of his shows, I'm certain I will shed tears. It's almost overwhelming.

I my self have been so fortunate, David has been a constant in my life since 1972, I was 10 years old when I first heard him. His music has been the back drop them for our life. Seeing his lovely daughter with him, just pulls on my heart strings. A life time of perfection, for all of us !

I am a fan and if there are small mistakes or his voice is not good enough I don’t mind, what irritates me is that people are walking and talking around when the concert is starting. Just be on time sit down, shut up and enjoy.

I've been following all of the live shows since the brighton rehearsal, his voice has been improving... He may just have a cold, but I wouldn't expect a flawless performance from a nearly 80 year old larynx. He's doing his best.
There were so many who filmed the entire fukin concert last night. Absolute idiots. Even though before the concert David's manager came out and said Please dont film too much, enjoy the music, david doesnt like being recorded.
His live performance career may be coming to an end, but I sincerely hope that he lives for many years yet. My mum is still around at 95, and my father died close to 90. Long live David!
Can someone explain to me why there is more good live footage of bands performances from 30 - 50 years ago but nowadays people just don't bother doing professional recordings of their sets
The panic when his slide guitar didnt work in High hopes and then the relief when it finally did made the moment even more amazing! You could feel the tension within the crowd and then the euphoria when he started shredding the solo finally.

Time and a coming back to life have been the most challenging songs for David to sing. Having heard Time from several previous shows of this tour he is getting better at hitting those high notes of those melodies. He is slow to warm but he’s getting there. Those of you who have tickets for shows in a few weeks will receive the best of David.
