Wow! Super video. I upgraded from Camtasia 2021 to 2022. I wanted to know what was new. You did a much better job than at Techsmith in showing the key new features. Blend Mode and Animated cursor I've been waiting on for a long time. Thanks again! 🙏🙏♥
WOW thanks Leila!
A terrific guide to new features that will save much time. Thank you.
Great new updates! Thank you for this very clear video!
Thanks for the great video, thumbs up!
Great overview. I didn't know about these new features. I am excited to try to blend feature.
The new camtasia live timeline edit feature for audiate is going be a game changer! Thanks for walking us through this feature.
Already shared, but big props for cursor path editing. This will be very useful going forward!
I've used Camtasia for several years -- and it keeps getting better and better. Thanks, Leila.
Lol. No. It's GARBAGE. They still haven't fixed the glaring issue of how badly the program *slows down to the point of being unusable* when you have many edits in any video longer than about 8 minutes. Sooo frustrating. I'm getting a refund and going back to version 8. It's clear to me that the people who BUILD Camtasia don't USE Camtasia for real projects.
This helped so much thank you.
I love it. Thank you for all these tips. So useful.
Thank you, thank you and thank you. Especially for your clear speech. I understood all you said.
You are Awesome Leila. Thanks you very much.
Great Tut, thanks
Good to see u again miss and your help in making me understand it is appreciated.thx
It is great to see Camtasia develop is this direction rather than just being another video editor. I think we will see some really creative videos being produced with all these new features.
Leila your are always first who present new cool things!! I am at work now, that is why I am waiting for going back home, prepare coffee and enjoy watching. Thank you - Best regards - Samir
You are one of the BEST!
Wow! Thanks!
I can hear a tinny robot feedback sound in several parts of your video (around 1:54, just before 9:00, between 12:00 and 13:00 minute mark, etc). It’s an issue I’ve been having as well in Camtasia. Does anyone else notice this? It doesn’t happen for me in other programs. I love the power of Camtasia for showing on screen work and the new library and mouse animations you showed are great. I just wish I didn’t have to work around the sound issues. Appreciate your videos!
The original OG. Love your videos
Amazing software !!
thank you very much. i love camtasia😃
great explanation
this features surprise me.. thank you for rich features, keep more better for next update.
Cheers for making these videos, I always learn something.
Would it be possible if you could make a video on how I could better use Powertools for Windows please?
New cursor effect I think will be my favorite. But I should deep dive and look all new features
Thanks for the overview. Two quick questions: Is rendering any faster? 64 bit?
Within the next few revisions, Camtasia will be a full-blown video editing program like Premiere with its screen capturing feature as incidental. As such, it will need heftier hardware.
Oh my God, Leila is again back with something very fantastic. Always love to learn from your experience. you are just awesome and heartbreaking. Keep enlightenment us with your fantastic knowledge.
Thanks for showing these new highlights. Blend mode looks sort of interesting. But overall I'm not really seeing anything that compels me to want to upgrade.
Thanks You Leila
That cursor path edit is gold
Super Leila ❤
wow . whenever you make a video related on camtasia i fell very good . these are really cool features , thanks leila:)
Blend-mode is phenomenal. Thanks for this example. I've started experimenting with it.
It's amazing
Many thanks for this. You answered (indirectly for me) the key question: Is the 2022 upgrade worth it! I will upgrade today.
That Audiate has evolved a lot since they first brought it out. Too bad though it is a monthly subscription-based product, contrary to Camtasia itself. The things I like the most in your presentation are: the enhanced cursor effects and the fact that you now can modify the path of the cursor. Those visual effects and blending are cool, too. All in all a good upgrade after 2 years.
It is a pity that Audiate is so INSANELY EXPENSIVE with a subscription!
Looks awesome, what version is it?
Thank you. Guys, is there an option in Camtasia 2022 to remove background image and make it transparent?
What application should i use to record voice , and merge both the voice and the video with the correct sync
How do you save as standalone project in Mac? I don't see a checkbox for this anywhere here when the Save as window pops up. On Windows computer there is one. No problems there. Please help. I use Camtasia 2022
Do you have full camtasia tutorial. Your teaching is always exceptionally clear.
Camtasia is the only software I know how to use and find it to be great for beginners like me. I need the cursor adjustments because I am the one with the crazy cursor movements. I also think some of the new assets will be fun to try out. The one thing I am still not impressed with is Audiate. I have tried it but it does not fit with the way I record and it does not line up correctly even with the new integration. Also as others have mentioned, Audiate as a monthly cost for just audio when Camtasia and SnagIt can be purchased for a reasonable one-time cost makes Audiate seem off-brand for TechSmith. I think it just costs too much for what it does, but that is my simple opinion, I know some people who love it.
I use ScreenFlow, which is only available on macOS. However, I do have Camtasia as well, which is more feature-rich but has a steeper learning curve.
Interesting to see the new features though!
If you think Camtasia has a steeper learning curve, wait until you try editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects..
@@michaelw2797 Ah, I know! Thankfully, I don’t do anything too complex so can avoid those.
Does soft soft co with the samples? And are these copyright free?
i wish they would add the glow line from premiere pro...its such as cool feature
I think the mouse tracking controls are going to be useful; but I noticed a significant 'gotcha' while watching your video: mouse movements often trigger mouseover events on-the-way. This is going to be an issue both for adding new mouse movements (like your menu example), or potentially when redirecting captured mouse movements (we could end-up with unexplained mouseover interactions where buttons and menus had an interaction on the original path, but not on the modified/simplified path).
wow that camtasia title and pose led my mind to some paths.
I'm wondering how my 24 fps videos be affected by Camtasia that only goes to a minimum of 25 fps. Will have to try it out.
Obrigado 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This application is waaaay outside my swim lane ... but I still forwarded the video to two others who would be interested ... always happy to be Leila Advocate.
Leila - I am considering changing over to Camtasia (I currently use LumaFusion and Canva) and this was extremely helpful. When using Camtasia, can I do everything in Camtasia that can be done in Canva or is this just an "editing" software primarily and cannot create thumbnails, end end cards b-roll as extensively? So I would still have to pay for both Canva and Camtasia? Please let me know. Thanks GmaJo
Hi - glad you found this useful. Yes, Camtasia is for editing. I use Snagit (same owners as Camtasia) for pictures and Photoshop for thumbnails or more complex editing.
Since Audiate can transcribe the audio automatically for editing, can this edited transcription be saved as a .srt or .vtt file for use as close captioning in the video?
Yes it can! But when we tried Audiate we found that it easily lost synchronization between audio and video in Camtasia, so we went with Descript instead. Works very well and has a lower price. The way we use it by making the screencast in Camtasia and then import it to Descript or doing it all in Descript if the editing isn’t to advanced.
Overall, I love Camtasia. But the keep ignoring the biggest elephant in the room, feature-wise. This year, we get a bizarrely intricate 'blend mode', but STILL no reasonable solution for even minimal color grading :(
will i get copy right strike if i use any of the audio track from camtasia audio library for my youtube videos?
what color is your house
walla billa its grey
I'm using Camtasia 2022 and the screen recorder is not working =. Is anyone out there having the same problem? I was using Camtasia 2021 up to yesterday (06-26-22) and the screen recorder was working great. Once I updated to Camtasia 2022, the screen recorder stopped working.
Audiate is potentially very useful, but I can't imagine it getting many customers, because it's crazy expensive. It doubles the cost of Camtasia in the first year, but then the program has a maintenance agreement for maybe 1/4 price per year while we haemorrhage that full Audiate subscription every single year. Despite the incredible cost, I had thought that there was a class of User for whom Audiate was a no-brainer because it could save them hours a day. But the interesting thing I got from your video is that you use a different audio solution entirely. The niche for Audiate customers then truly becomes thin: I would have thought their revenue would be far higher paid for in additional sales by including Audiate to core functionality... even adding a few $€£ to the cost to cover any marginal (3rd-party) costs.
yayy
Pls provide us Camtasia Download Link

What alternatives to Audiate do you use to edit your audio?
@@LeilaGharani Yes. A good choice especially if you're already signed up for any other Adobe tools. Thanks for sharing. Your videos and channel are among the best I follow. Keep up the good work.
Leila, can you show me step by step how to make your closing slide including the links?
The comment section won't allow me to paste the picture of it But it has links to your courses, a thumbnail to click on for your next video clip, and a "subscribe" button and below it are more links to your social medias. Fantastic ending video...made by a pro. Would you show me how to do that?
making your own soft using what you’ve learned.
still like the old one more simple, better
I just think of RuneScape days back in 2007
I am always annoyed when I see a video with HARD CUTS between scenes. Camtasia should have a feature to AUTOMATICALLY convert all hard cuts into soft cuts.
mam is it free to work on it
هل يمكنم ان تعطوني السريل نمبر
I like how Leila dumped people like a rock in the comments. She doesn't answer a lot of questions or even acknowledge that the customers are interested. 5 months ago people asked important questions about this presentation of hers, which I found unnecessarily confusing, and I've used Camtasia for many many years. Like maybe 15 years. When someone like this posts a "buy this because of all the hot new features" video, blabbers on about features that are confusing and poorly illustrated, and then disregards half the viewers with questions over a long period of time, I just have to shake my head and say, TechSmith and Camtasia people, don't let incompetent people like this represent your product. Camtasia is great. Mediocre explanations injure the product.
10% off link is not working.
Seems a lot more complicated than 8.5 and has more than what I need it for. I just green screen edit and nothing more.
please give me the key of camtasia 2022🤩😍🥰
i Rather Stick With the Camtasia 9' Because its Cracked' so 😁
Just a suggestion, for those of us who are unfamiliar with Camtasia . Perhaps a moment spent introducing us to what the program is used for would be more informative.
True. I don‘t think I have a beginners tutorial on Camtasia yet. Thanks.
Camtasia was a simple, clean product, with the excellent TechSmith codec for video. Maybe I still have a free version somewhere. And today? For 340 €? I am sorry, no.
Is it good value for money?
For us it is. We've been using since I started creating video tutorials. But it really depends on your needs and what type of videos you want to create.
Where are the intros in 2022?
Queston: Is Camtasia a Video PowerPoint???
@@LeilaGharani: Thanks Leila, I didn't know about Camtasia until this Video. It looked like you could Create a Video Presentation. with Camtasia, & Edit It all within 1 App.
i use only capcut for video editing 🤭

Thanks for the detailed examples and overview of the new Camtasia, Leila! Well done as always. 👏
Let me post this question here if you don't mind. Since Audiate can transcribe the audio automatically for editing, can this edited transcription be saved as a .srt or .vtt file for use as close captioning in the video?
@@lehsu it can! (SRT yes, VTT no)
