As per your experiment can understand the operation and what really happens,
My personal experience, my father used to do full night charge. By one year, battery get swollen and discharge rate become very high during normal operation of mobile.
I think leaving mobile in charger will weaken the battery cells much higher as you think.
Swollen battery has High risk of battery burst.
If you're using a bad/low cost battery charger, The output voltage of the charger will be constant, also may be higher than the battery volt and which result high current consumption even after full charge. that is not good for battery. Battery bulging only happen by high voltage. We need to keep in mind that, some cases battery performance also will lag, that's because the poor quality of battery. Which is nothing to do with charging. Thanks.
Abdul sherif is correct in his point of view. Most people using low cost battery and charger. So you might have added this point in your video. Otherwise fantastic piece of work yours 👍👏

After reaching a 100%, charging circuit getting disabled and start consuming power directly from charge, after switching off your phone, its not getting completely shutdown. Phone volume buttons and power button are always enabled and keep waiting for the interrupt. In technical terms ur phone is in low power sleep mode. So perfect switch off or shutdown is by removing your battery only.
I'll tell you in more technical terms,,
1. After 100% charge, circuit will not get disabled. In every charging circuit, there will be a device called reverse diode, which does not allow a charger to operate directly as a primary source for your mobile. The charger main purpose is to target the battery, and maintain the battery level.
2. While mobile switched off, the power supply to all the ics, processors will be still there and it's not closing circuit, where the current will flow. It's like you home switch, the supply always there, but not consume current until you turn on.

I understood your points, soo I'm not a mobile phone repairing expert and I'm not that much of good experience in mobile phone hardware and software. 1st doubt ----> usually, in charging circuit here we using separate ic for charging a battery, it'll helps to protecting for various problems like charging protection, control a power and some thing more.. so in mobil, for charging circuit they using just simple circuits like diode and other passive components or they using any active components ??

3rd ---> I said, it is in sleep mode, suppose you have any experience in embedded devices driver programming'na definitely you know what is sleep mode and what is interrupt and all.. u r not clearly getting my points about sleep mode I guess.
