Fashion photography is a genre of photography where you shoot what is in style, fashionable items
Not only clothes, jewelry, watch, perfume, lifestyle products all come under fashion photography
I have shot for brands like Allen Solly retail clients like CMR Hyderabad, Chandana brothers, Saravana stores, Chennai silks, Trichy Sarathas .also for designers and makeup artists
Fashion shoot is a team effort and not a one-man show ,model , ,Fashion stylist ,makeup artist,hairstylist ,fashion stylist ,costumer ,saree drapist ,production designer ,set assistants ,production manager
Editorial fashion, shoot for ad campaigns and catalog shoots (examples for each )
As a fashion photographer, you must know how to handle different textures, like lighting for Jeans is totally different from silk saree which is highly reflective
Understanding the client brief, target audience
How to learn fashion photography? assist a good fashion photographer. Develop a portfolio. If you want to join an institute then join where the faculty is a practicing fashion photographer since it’s a fast-changing trend

Go for A7R III if you need high resolution. I use Sony Native lenses and Zeiss Batis series lenses for my shoots .Manfrotto is a solid tripod brand with good service support
