the way he fights reminds me of both evil ryu(of course) and oni, and seeing as oni is a manifestation of the hadou that took over akuma in a way… it would explain a lot, both of them introduce a lot of techniques that normal hadou users (or in ryu’s case… potential ones) don’t typically engage in as they tend to have more discipline to their movesets, showing a bit more of what the hadou can offer outside anime shotokan technique

First you need to activate V-Trigger 2, Rikudo Osatsu, then while having a max gauge bar (all 3 bars filled with super meter), quickly press Light Punch, Light Punch, Forward, Light Kick, Heavy Punch. To test a button's strength Light Punch does the least amount of damage, while Heavy does the most. Good luck and keep practicing!

You know if this is actually Dan more violent side then you can actually figure out what moves Dan knows just from what Moves kage knows. I mean I do know that the shoto style is actually taught with the non lethal moves so it could be a conscious decision on Dan's part to not use and lethal moves but in his dreams He still imagines himself killing Sagat with carnal lethality. There are even lines from sf5 where its implied that Dan is still talking about getting revenge.
And if this is Dan's spirit it would explain why he has so much god damn energy and it would show just how much he thinks about this because contrast this body of energy to Akumas story outfit. Last game he was beaten by gouken who was defending ryus heart and he was allowed to live too. So akuma would get proof that you can be stronger without killing intent which leaves him in a fractured state of mind. Was his journey where he tried to kill his brother truly the right one if he's been beaten? And did he give up that love pointlessly. And yet if this is Dan you see barely any cracks in his form at all. And he's getting stronger too. Maybe he's got a goal in mind?
That Kurekijin Kick looks more like a Unique Attack than a Special Attack. Imagine him doin' a Special Attack Tatsumaki Sempuu Kyaku surrounded with his miasma.

I perfer kage. He plays more like Mr. Karate and Ryo. Hes a vicious close range hitter that isnt just a reskin ryu with 2 moves.
