@@tonicasson4991 Oh, I bet he does. Considering he covers bass and can go high tenor falsetto. He also has an extremely versitile voice and can change grit, style and technique to fit the song or who he is singing with.
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca Agreed! I always say he's a bit of a vocal chameleon because he can blend his voice with anyone and any style. People are often so surprised when they realise a falsetto line is him and not Mitch, I can tell them apart but a lot of people seem to assume the highest (male) voice = Mitch; though they do the same with KO like in Water where he takes that high falsetto line ("take me higher, take me high"), and in Imagine. They're basically all fabulous unicorns, but I have adore Scott's creativity and showmanship: the way he dances with the skull in Favourite Things, his drama in Over The River, and his ability to turn anything into a riff or run lol..., and also that he seems to be just such a sweet, giant teddy bear of a goof ball. Also, Scott's falsetto is stunning, he shows it off in Problem (as well as a few others, but that comes immediately to mind), and also in the song with Rozzie - Lose Us, where he sings a line so high & beautifully 😍 that the first few times I heard it I thought it was her, and then I realised her line followed his and had a slightly different tone.
Scott is an amazing singer. He leads more often than not. It suits the group’s style. They arrange these songs together and agree whose voice works best where in the songs. I didn’t read all the comments but I hope you didn’t get too much backlash. You were right. I also miss Avi as well but realize he had to follow his own path. Him being miserable was going to hurt them all eventually. Listening to interviews with the group they were devastated when he left. Finding somebody to fill that spot was an exhaustive search. Matt did a podcast where he explained the extensive audition process he went through to get into the group. Then he learned all their songs before they started rehearsals for their next tour. Gotta love this Matt’s work ethic. Their sound is slightly different to be sure but it seems to be working out for them. I’ve been shocked they’ve stayed together as long as they have. Most groups don’t last. Love your reactions. You’ve got some videos up I’ve never seen before. I’m enjoying them all.
Pentatonix is such a versatile group, that's for sure. In one song, Scott will take the lead, Kirstie and Mitch will do harmonies, Avi on bass, and Kevin on percussion. In another song, it's Kirstie in the lead, Scott & Mitch harmonizing, and Kevin and Avi doing their thing. It doesn't really matter which of the five is singing. They ALL contribute equally to whichever song they're singing. It's the BLEND that makes Pentatonix who they are. Sure, you'll hear an individual voice singing in the forefront, but then they all come together and knock our socks off. But you knew that :)
I know what u mean D, Scott is foundational to all that they do. That’s NOT saying they aren’t ALL magical and foundational to their magic, like you said it’s always a perfect mix of their extraordinary talents and Scott can be easily overlooked but his creative push and steady awesomeness is key to PTX. Plus he lifts and delights in the other 4’s brilliance, his sweet and supportive smiles at Kevin here doing his solo in this MJ Evolution, his side eye smiles at Mitch in their Ariana Grande Evolution or Kirstie in Season’s of Love 4th of July performance, he’s always lifting others up 🙌🙌☀️✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
This was a showcase performance in Japan with other performers. All songs except MJ were originals. Kirstie wrote Water (with another song writer) and asked Kevin to lay a beat and that's how they came up with it. I think Kirstie is underrated and would love to see her do some more front and center. Kind of a me and the boys feel. Love your genuine reactions Thx 😎
Thanks for the reaction. They are incredible live. Popspring was a music festival in Japan. MTV Japan recorded these 4 performances from the concert to show on MTV in Japan. That is why the audio and video are so clear. The entire concert was about an hour long.
I feel like Scott is the glue that holds this phenomenal group together. He’s like the heart and soul. You can feel that when you see them perform live. Next time they come to MetLife or Prudential Center for a concert, I expect you to be there!! Pinky promise!
This is my favorite performance of Can't Sleep Love - Mitch slays on his rap+singing solo, and the audience (and Scott!) eat it up. I also think this is the better version of Evolution of MJ. Water is beautiful, and the energy from the audience elevates it.
“Everything is as it should be”…The understatement of the century!!! With the addition of Matt, and yes he was an addition not a replacement, they overcame what could have been a cataclysmic loss. It’s a testament to their greatness!!!
Please scream it louder for the people in the back! I think Scott has one of the best voices that can even stand up to mainstream rnb singers on the radio today! That man is so slept on!
Scott sets us up for the ride. If Mitch started it would be just a free fall of sound. For example: when Mitch goes so high in Can you feel the love tonight, Scott does a high riff to ground the song so it doesn't seem out of place
Scott has always been my favorite. It’s like trying to pick your favorite candy. You love them all. Each one is ridiculously talented but Scott is my favorite.
They are outstanding live. They have such fun and energy and enjoy every note they share with you. Will be my 3rd Christmas concert on my birthday in Dec. So excited.
They are so great at knowing who's voice fits where. They are all alien unicorns & their voices are all insanely unique & gorgeous. I am partial to Scott because of the way he emotes & he truly is the heart & soul. Wouldn't BE a PTX if Scott hadn't fought for it. And watch him in live videos.....with PTX, Citizen Queen, Mario Jose, Acapop, Tori Kelly, anyone.....the way he smiles in pure joy & admiration when others sing is so beautiful. His humility is so uplifting. The whole group has that same heart. But Scott just seems to be the anchor of PTX for me. The glue. He has such proud papa moments & it makes me smile so big!!! I love him in Waving Thru a Window.....his passion oozes all over the stage!!
Every time I hear Popspring I'm reminded how brilliant they are with their original songs. They are perfection live. I love your reactions more and more!
I have to give huge props to the sound techs on this one. The mixing was top notch. You can hear them all clearly and they all sound amazing. Each one of them has their stand out moments. Water is ine of my favorites and this is one of my favorite versions of it because of Avi's killer drop around 18:09 .
Not mad with you at all!!! They are all amazing but Scott has got that 'something' that speaks straight to my heart and i adore him! Great reaction by the way.
Finally a commenter who recognizes Scott equal vocal talent and leader qualities. No one seems to remember that he ultimately chose each member of group (tho Kirstin and Mitch helped with choosing Avi and KO, and of course Avi had huge input in the choice of Matt) I love and admire all of them!
That’s a rumor. Avi had nothing to do with picking Matt. Matt has confirmed this in interviews. Ben Bram their arranger/producer was the one who thought of Matt and asked Matt if he wanted to sing bass for a group who needed one. Matt said at the time he auditioned he had not idea the group was even pentatonix until he got a call back.
Oh happiness! So glad to see this today. One of my favorite performances by this amazing group. The best is that aside from the MJ Evolution , the rest were originals. Their talent is absolutely amazing and not limited to covers only. Can't Sleep Love is one of my all time favorites and the live version was fire. Thanks for the reaction, looking forward to seeing more!
It all comes to the songs they sing, really. Scott takes the lead the most because it makes sense, his voice is the most versatile. When a song calls for extreme heights mitch will take the lead, if it needs lows and deepness Avi or now Matt will take over, same thing with Kirstie. Scott makes a great lead most of the time because he's got the voice for it. Mitch, while I think definitely the best singer of the five, has more of that "wow-effect" voice. And while Mitch has come a very long way from that shy and anxious boy we got to know in the sing-off, he still doesn't have Scott's stage presence and charisma. Makes sense since Mitch is more of an introvert
A lot of their live videos are fancam - recorded on someone’s cell phone. Not always the best quality. This performance was televised on Japan MTV, so the quality of sound is much better. 3 of the 4 songs are originals. Their originals are criminally underrated.
Besides being friends, I think one of the things that brought the trio together in the first place was that they each had a different vocal classification and it was fun for them to sing together. I don't think it would be as entertaining for 3 baritones to harmonize as it is for a baritone, soprano and tenor. And I know it's very easy to consider Scott as the lead, but I firmly believe it's only because he's the baritone that it appears that way.
3 originals and MJ.....heaven...That last one is one of my favorites now!!! Like you it's just sensory stunning what they can do Live. I finally got to see them for the Evergreen tour....they are all that and so much more. They did "My Heart With You" and i cried right then and there. Loved this man. I hear several reactors say the same thing about Scott, so you not alone lol.
I know you did Hallelujah in the beginning of your journey - but they did a really good "live" performance of it for their Christmas TV Special a few years back (NBC). You could react to that and see how similar it was to the music video :)
Trying to say who the "lead singer" is in PTX is like trying to figure out which chocolate chip is the best one in the cookie. This group has no individual egos that get in the way. What is best for the song is what is best for the group. Most of the time they take turns with lead throughout a song. As much of a powerhouse as Scott is, he often takes the first, softer verse, (Hallelujah, Amazing Grace), and Mitch and Kirstie come in with the power. One thing I do know, seldom if ever, do I think any arrangement could be done better. I hope someday they will dust off some old standards, like Sinatra, and revive them. Give them new life. Popspring is a favorite live.
We know each member would be a star in his or her own right. Each has amazing talents. Scott’s charisma on stage is off the charts though. In no way disparaging the other members of PTX, Scott was responsible for their win in The Sing Off. He carried the group in its initial stages as the most fully-developed *performer*-think about what he did in “Let’s Get It On” and “Dog Days”. As the others grew more experienced and comfortable as performers they each took on larger roles.
I think one of the reasons why we all love this performance so much…you can really hear how amazing they are live. Not heard through an amp, then a phone and an upload. Mlcs plugged directly into our ears.
That was awesome!!! For those of us that will probably never see them perform live, this felt like a real snippet of what it would be. Fyi I love it when you reminisce. I am a tad older than you but we are in the same decade lol.
Hello D! So glad that you finally got to do Popspring 2016. This really showcases them all. Scott in cracked. Kirstie in Water. Avi on the bass. Kevin with the beat-boxing and all those percussion sounds. Mitch with the ear candy, rapping, high notes and that stage bopping in Can't Sleep Love just stole that performance. All five of them doing Evolution of Michael Jackson - that they can do that live, with choreography is just superb. Glad you self-corrected before the Pentaholics jumped all over that statement - LOL - agree no lead singer for PTX - they are all superb singers and vocalists and may select a lead singer for a particular song or a particular verse in a song.
Just a bit of info...a) they can all be lead singers and they are and have been, b) this was the time that they started to ad Tats (expecially Kirstie), c) they started getting versatile with "dance" moves on stage, plus I've always thought this was their best concert (although, their performances around the world have caused fans to go crazy !!!! P.S. Because this concert was sponsored by MTV, the video and the sound were exceptional (no phone usage) Oh, btw...Kirstie had a baby girl (Ellivie Violet), and she's doing well...will probably go back on tour in 3-4 months.
It was in performance 5 on The Sing-Off that Scott first grabbed my attention. Mitch's voice resonates with me in a way I just can't explain, but Scott is capable of adapting to any genre. That plus his control and stage presence first truly stood out in "Love Lockdown".. Performance 5 on The Sing-Off. He can put a rasp on his vocal and truly put raw power into those genres that call for it. I don't know if anyone else in the group has the powerhouse voice needed for rock in the range Scott sits in as a baritone. And his R&B talent? He's fabulous! That man has soul! I appreciate him so much now. But Mitch still is the one I go to for an absolutely beautiful vocal. In a certain part of his range, like in "The Prayer" Mitch's voice resonates in a way that can make me cry. All that said, I wouldn't want to part with ANY member of the group! They're each integral to the whole sound, and they always pick the right person for the lead on each song. I'm never disappointed! A stellar group!
So great watching you react to this one. I've watched it countless times and still feel that way every time I watch it. I knew you'd absolutely love this.
Avi recently said in a couple of interviews for his new album "Floating On a Dream" that he only got to use 10% of his vocal range with PTX. Since he and Scott sing in the same baritone range you didn't get to hear him much on melody. He also gets to write his own music which he has been doing since age 13. He is making up for it now. Cracked Scott and Avi wrote, Water is Kirstie with Kevin, Can't Sleep Love was given to them by their label and they added to it and made it theirs (all the writers are listed on it).
Sara on the sing off said they were tight and like a tight knit puzzle. She said if they lose a piece it would fall apart. They did not fall apart, but they sound very different without Avi. I miss his bass so much. Not to take away from Matt, he has done a good job, but I am a huge Avi fan.
I remember your reaction to their MJ melody…….I remember you ask “why have we not told you about this one? Do you not like me?” I laughed out loud because I knew it was going to knock your socks off. Then when I saw you were going to react to this one….I was so excited because I knew they performed their MJ on this one!!!! Love your reactions D!
If you listen to “The Making of Evergreen” you can get a sense of how they arrange a song… with one saying “I” should sing this, or so & so should sing this…then they actually try different arrangements coming to a concensus as to what works best. It’s fascinating to watch and gives us a little glimpse of how incredibly hard they strive to give us the absolute best that they have to offer…and boy do they have a LOT to offer!!!
There are so many song where I almost cannot even hear Scott on if they are blending and/or harmonizing. The reason I say that is that he is so so good that he seamlessly blend with the others. So I know what you meant completely!! He is so so talented though. He was writing a musical and he's probably finished it by now.it might be years before we hear it (#soon lol) but I'm excited to sée what is it like. All I know for sure is it will be nothing less than amazing!! I'm someone has already told you but Kirstin wrote water for their first album of originals. You can't at all tell that back then she was so self conscious that it's surprising she lead this song way back then. As you could tell she had nothing to be self conscious about. I love all of these. If you want to see an amazing Mitch performance you should watch break free/ see through from the same concert at the star vista Singapore. Since Avi basically blew the sound system mitchs voice has reverb on it and OMG would you love that one. All of the song from that concert are unbelievable bc Mitch red bull adrenaline spread to the rest of the group. Just look up break free see through star vista Singapore and you should be able to watch it.
10:20 Never noticed it before, but when Kirstin an Mitch switch places, the first thing they both do after they put their mics in their "new" stands is to adjust the stand height - Kirstin down, and Mitch up - since there's about a 6 inch difference in their heights! Makes perfect sense that they'd have to do that, but it's one of those things that I just don't notice unless I'm really paying attention.
Yep. And notice that when Mitch goes to the middle, he doesn't switch with Scott. They move the whole mic stands. I assume because Scotts stand is about the full height of Mitch so if the stand doesn't cooperate instantly he would be kind of screwed, while Mitch and Kirstie can kind of use each others stands if they don't have time to do smaller adjustments.
So glad I clicked on this I've never heard them do MJ live and I've never heard the last song I guess it's called Water it's a very nice song so thanx for doing this ✌❣
this was amazing. i almost had a tear in my eyes. michael jackson whatever we think, was a genius. genius's arent normal. they are way different to most of us in my opinion anyway. my granny used to say you need something wrong with your head to be a genius , now its perfect sense! lol
You are so right in that they put the person to best fit the song or part of a song.. BUT.. this one IS Kirstie's song.. She wrote this.. along with Kevin's input..
What a fantastic reaction D! One of the best I've seen so far... Your expressions about PTX mirror exactly how I feel about that group: They are the best A Capella group....ever!! The blend of just the "trio" of Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie alone is outstanding because all 3 can harmonize and then individually flip into the lead role seamlessly.
Some of my suggestions: "Happy Now" an original by PTX and one of my favorites... "Seasons of Love" from the 4th of July special in 2021. Kirstie goes OFF... "Take On Me" shows off SOME of Mitch's crazy range... "Dancing on my Own" what is considered their goodbye song to Avi after he left the group... "Away in a Manger" one of the less popular Christmas songs, as they did it with only 4 of the members but I love it.... "That's Christmas to Me" PTX original and little glimpses into their childhoods.... "Thank You" an original written by Scott and Mark who was his boyfriend at the time, now fiance! IMO one of Scott's best vocal performances
I like how they change positions on stage so everyone gets to see each of them up close and personal. Scott is the king of riffs and runs. Haha...record store. I remember, too. Kirstie wrote this song I think with Kevin's help. I think they try to allow the artist who wrote the song, to also sing the lead, but there are original songs that leant themselves to another singer. Scott wrote "The Light in the Hallway" for his nephew, but they agreed Avi would be the best lead singer for it. He was great! 20160404 PENTATONIX NAGOYA Light In The Hallway - UA-cam
Here is one of Avi's last performances when he performed "The LIght in the Hallway" on tour...in the rain...no less. ua-cam.com/video/k5Vij8QRBMs/v-deo.html
i always look forward to your ptx reactions. i imagine that every concert they do is in some way a little different, and and even though every one is great, there are some that because of the audience, the venue, the moods that day. the costumes. the sound system , the lighting, the sets feel like everything came together and when they are done they say to themselves wow, that was great tonight. this concert feels to me like they had one of those special nights. not an off note in the whole performance. i thought avi looked especially handsome..
I love and very much appreciate every person for their talent in this group. ❤️They are ptx because of every little nuance that every single one of them brings to the table. I don't ever want to pick one over the other. If I ever pick a favourite in a song it is because of a certain part they sang that gave me goosebumps 😅 I might have a slight bias for Mitch and Matt but that's more due to their personalities! And I love when Matt and Mitch harmonise together, like in Mad World. But Kirstie Scott and Kevin are very much equally loved by me🤗 But I would never see Scott as THE lead singer of PTX. He is lead for certain songs, yes! And so are Kirstie, Mitch and Matt at times. Kevin is the leading beat always anyway! 🥰 Everyone is the lead to me.
Loved your reaction as always!!! I know what you’re saying about MJ. As a teen girl I had him on my wall. As I grew up I began to stray as he did do some really odd / questionable things. In the end though, he was an incredible talent who deserves all the pomp and stance for his lifetime of works. 70 songs in?! I haven’t gotten all those watched yet. So, have you done any of the other evaluation songs? Many of those I’m doubt I could tell you even one song that many of them did but, evolution of music is very good. At first I wondered where/how would the piece it together. As always though, they did it masterfully. Check it out. If you already have, I’ll try to find it. Thanks for all your great reactions. Even when you feel there will be nay sayers or those who want to argue what you say, you give your in the moment comments. That’s what first time reaction videos are supposed to be about, “your opinion” of what you are hearing and seeing. Anyone can watch it and write it give a review. You have time to come up with the right adjectives and such. Reaction is immediate response. Thanks
I absolutely adore your reactions D. You are so honest and self deprecating in your comments, it makes watching and listening to these videos so interesting. Keep up the great work 🤗 Oh, BTW, your reference to the record store was so funny cause these kids today have no idea!!!!
🎉I am so happy you did this!!! This is so epic!!! Love this❤️ To be blown away by Scott again, you should react to Waving Through a Window from the broadway musical, Dear Even Hansen.
I didn't take it wrong that you said Scott should be the lead singer. Loved Michael Jackson and yeah i went to the record store. You must've been rich to buy the album, i had to budget the 99cents for a 45 🤣
Dude, they are a group. WHY does there need to be a "LEAD" singer?? They are all very talented and contribute equally to what we all now know and love as PENTATONIX. Let them be! Think about all of the great groups of the past that had stand out "lead" singers....most disbanded due to solo interests. Let them be!
Scott is an extremely good live singer, but Pentatonix does not have only one lead singer and that is the way it should be. When they were in Sing-Off, the production was trying to push Scott as the lead and hide the others and it sucks.
‘I thought Michael was a lunatic’ aaaand ya lost me sorry. 🤷🏾♀️ That man was a misunderstood fucking angel that deserved better honestly fuck everyone for treating him like shit when he was alive. I don’t care what anyone says.
Michael Jackson was a whack job, and he was a musical genius. Both things can be true. I cringe when i think about him too, but his music is the soundtrack of my youth.
Scott is ok, but not the best. He would sound so much better if he would sing more in his lower baritone register than his trying to hit tenor notes. That's just my opinion.

Thanks for the reaction. They are incredible live. Popspring was a music festival in Japan. MTV Japan recorded these 4 performances from the concert to show on MTV in Japan. That is why the audio and video are so clear. The entire concert was about an hour long.
Scott is their anchor. Definitely the leader.
I feel like Scott is the glue that holds this phenomenal group together. He’s like the heart and soul. You can feel that when you see them perform live.
Next time they come to MetLife or Prudential Center for a concert, I expect you to be there!! Pinky promise!
One of my FAVORITE songs. I listen to it everyday on my walk.
Scott has always been my favorite.. I love them all.
Mine too!
I need to go to a concert....this is ridiculous not to...hope you go too D....STILL LOVE YOUR REACTIONS...❤
⭐PENTATONIX is INSANELY TALENTED. Such a gift to us!!
Cracked, Can't Sleep Love and Water are their original song from the their first original albim. Kirstie wrote Water, the last song they sang.
♥ Hey D, this is a great idea to do to celebrate your 100th PTX reaction! Hallelujah live is amazing!
Yes, it blows me away how they are live!
Would love to see you react to this live performance of Hallelujah! Here's the link! ua-cam.com/video/haFHrfmfHbc/v-deo.html
Hallelujah live is in my opinion better than the video version. Not by a big margin, but better.
Greetings from Germany
DEAL!
If you noticed, during the song Water, the very high voice you hear is Kevin.
I always love their live stuff.
Not only do I recogmizr all MJ songs but I also see each music video he did for each song!
P.S. Because this concert was sponsored by MTV, the video and the sound were exceptional (no phone usage)
Oh, btw...Kirstie had a baby girl (Ellivie Violet), and she's doing well...will probably go back on tour in 3-4 months.
PopSpring 2016 is my favorite video ever! Can’t sleep love, this version is my favorite song!
Kirstie and Mitch are dressed as Japanese amine characters!
I’m so glad that you said that, I’ve always hated their outfits, now it makes sense
I love their outfits, especially Mitch’s.
Which character are they?
I’ve always liked this performance of the MJ evolution better than the standalone video. Amazing live.
So perfectly said
So great watching you react to this one. I've watched it countless times and still feel that way every time I watch it. I knew you'd absolutely love this.
If there is any way for you to go see them in concert.....it is soooooo worth it lol
Amazing!!!
They are incredible live.
D, go back and watch this part again, at 5:55, watch Scott as Mitch goes off.... perfection
So glad I clicked on this I've never heard them do MJ live and I've never heard the last song I guess it's called Water it's a very nice song so thanx for doing this ✌❣
Kirstin wrote Water. She written or co-written many of their originals.
Recommend their My Favorite Things.
this was amazing. i almost had a tear in my eyes. michael jackson whatever we think, was a genius. genius's arent normal. they are way different to most of us in my opinion anyway. my granny used to say you need something wrong with your head to be a genius , now its perfect sense! lol
Hey big D... you know, I think you ARE a Pentaholic? lol- welcome aboard! you earned your wings...
Woohoo! - I'd like to thank my parents, my wife, my kids, and of course God, and to all my teachers who said I would never amount to anything! :P
Amazing
Kirstie wrote 'Water'.
Thanks for this!
i always look forward to your ptx reactions. i imagine that every concert they do is in some way a little different, and and even though every one is great, there are some that because of the audience, the venue, the moods that day. the costumes. the sound system , the lighting, the sets feel like everything came together and when they are done they say to themselves wow, that was great tonight. this concert feels to me like they had one of those special nights. not an off note in the whole performance. i thought avi looked especially handsome..
Kirstin wrote the last song, Water. With the exception of the Michael Jackson medley, all songs were originals.
Water was written by Kirstie. It is the name of the last song that they sung.
Thanks D, so glad you got around to this. 🔥🔥
But Kirstie Scott and Kevin are very much equally loved by me🤗
But I would never see Scott as THE lead singer of PTX. He is lead for certain songs, yes! And so are Kirstie, Mitch and Matt at times. Kevin is the leading beat always anyway! 🥰 Everyone is the lead to me.
I love this video, and I am so glad you reacted to it. I really like your reactions because you are honest and it's so refreshing. Thank you!!
MJ was a troubled person. Childhood interrupted led to troubling behavior as an adult but he was a gifted musician.
Thanks
Well ya got me. I had to subscribe. Your review of PTX was very insightful.thanks for doing it.
I absolutely adore your reactions D. You are so honest and self deprecating in your comments, it makes watching and listening to these videos so interesting. Keep up the great work 🤗
Oh, BTW, your reference to the record store was so funny cause these kids today have no idea!!!!
YOU KNOW KIRSTIE JUST HAD HER FIRST BABY 3 WEEKS AGO, baby girl Ellianna Violet
🎉I am so happy you did this!!! This is so epic!!! Love this❤️ To be blown away by Scott again, you should react to Waving Through a Window from the broadway musical, Dear Even Hansen.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
They could sing the PHONE BOOK. Wouldn't that be something
Some of us are slower than others, lol. I'll forgive you, Hee hee.
But there's really no lead. Or front person. They all agreed on no egos. And have you recovered from the Mitch slaps and the PTX 2x4 yet?
lol it still hurts
❤️❤️👍
I didn't take it wrong that you said Scott should be the lead singer. Loved Michael Jackson and yeah i went to the record store. You must've been rich to buy the album, i had to budget the 99cents for a 45 🤣
Dude, they are a group. WHY does there need to be a "LEAD" singer?? They are all very talented and contribute equally to what we all now know and love as PENTATONIX. Let them be! Think about all of the great groups of the past that had stand out "lead" singers....most disbanded due to solo interests. Let them be!
Woaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh Down boy down - relaaaaaaaaaaaaaax we all love them just the way they are lol
I found a Superfruit song Bad 4 us. One of their early ones.
It's another one...
I really dont think any of them is the lead singer I think they are all the lead singer
There is not a true lead singer in PTX. It just depends on the song choice. I feel they mix it up depending on what song they are performing…….Judy D
There is no lead singer
Michael Jackson was a whack job, and he was a musical genius. Both things can be true. I cringe when i think about him too, but his music is the soundtrack of my youth.
same here!
Scott is ok, but not the best. He would sound so much better if he would sing more in his lower baritone register than his trying to hit tenor notes. That's just my opinion.
