Today, January 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time in Medjugorje, all the pilgrims present in the parish were invited to a 3-hour prayer meeting with the visionary Marija. The group prayer took place in front of Our Lady's statue on Podbrdo (Apparition Hill).
At around 6:00 PM, as the prayers drew to a close, Our Lady appeared to Marija. After the apparition, Marija said “Our Lady was joyful and prayed over all of us."
Marija also relayed a special message Our Lady gave during the apparition:
“Thank you for responding to my call and thank you for praying for my intentions. Neither you, nor your children, nor your children's children will regret it.”

I heard about this but it was not on the medjugorje website so I wasn't sure if it was official. I prayed at 230 or 3pm my time. I was interrupted once and said: "give me 5 minutes", and they didn't come back until 345, so I was able to continue praying until then. (They didn't come back for 30 minutes) Thanks be to God for all of you, and for this wonderful spontaneous event. Thanks be to God for Our Lady. May she crush the head of Satan soon.

Were you there on 1st January 2024? By the grace of God I was able to join in the prayer vigil 2 to 5pm UK time after seeing a headline on Spirit Daily. Didn't realise until afterwards we were invited to join by livestream for the last hour. But kept vigil for the 3 hours, for intentions of our dear Blessed Heavenly Mother. Praised be Jesus and Mary.

So not like the Medjugorje I visited many years ago. I meandered through fields of grapevines getting to the rock scree on apparition hill. Now buildings everywhere and cars… doesn’t seem like a pilgrimage anymore. Hum. But lots of people is what Our Lady was waiting for.

Tom, this must be the Apparition I saw about on you tube. It even said it would be raining and then it will clear up later on.
It did just stop raining 5 min before the Apparition started

I am in the same position with my family of 7 coming from Australia. Seems like a huge endeavour and my husband is concerned about the cost. I am begging our Blessed Mother for a sign, something to convince him. We are not wealthy. It is just my strong desire and hope for the salvation of my family who are all lukewarm/agnostic. Praying for you 🙏
There are various apparition places/ healing wells. Perhaps you donot have to go this far but find a holy ground somewhere nearer. In Europe there are quite a few, in fact a well is less than 10 miles away from here, where i get water from whenever possible. The town is called Ollersdorf. Then there is Dechdice Slovakia, Garabandal Spain,
a well in Ukraine in Saint Ana or so,
lOurdes France,
Medjugorje and perhaps others that i donot recall.

Are we all supposed to pray for 3 hours or just the people on the hill ?
@siobhanmcneenan. The invitation was to keep a prayer vigil from 3 to 6pm Medjugorje time. One could join in the livestream for those who could not be there in person for the last hour. I just kept a prayer vigil for the 3 hours, did not realise we were invited to join livestream as well until afterwards. Viva Christo Rey. I offered prayer vigil for Blessed Mothers intentions.

Thank you for sharing this! I stayed near Apparition Hill the last time I was in Medjugorje and it was beautiful to see the streets there again! And very nice to see all the people. Once I was praying with the people this morning, because it's morning on the West Coast of USA I couldn't see how many people there were there.
