MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR || THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR || CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

“City sidewalk, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style. In the air, there’s a feeling of Christmas” (Ray Evans, “Silver Bells”). We are blessed to see once again, the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas is such a special season where the whole world is engage in a conspiracy of love. With Christmas, we are granted an opportunity to pause and reflect on the most important things in our lives and those around us. Christmas as Agnes Pharo puts it, “Is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, [and] hope for the future.” Christmas is a necessity for life. It is a calm reminder that we are here for something else other than ourselves. Christmas is not about opening presents, but more so, the opening of our hearts to those around us. A beautiful reminder of the greatest generosity of all-the gift of God to men. While shepherds watched their flocks by night, all seated on the ground. “Behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:9-14). The spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love, healing, giving and forgiving. It’s about doing something for somebody, and making it extra special. So this Christmas, don’t just give a gift. Give your best-give from your heart. A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, AND A GLORIOUS PROSPEROUS HAPPY NEW YEAR. Shalom!!!
