Nice one! I saw this thing go through Portlaoise when I was there a few weeks ago but it did so while I was outside the station so I couldn't get a photo!
Saw one of these in Killester a year or two ago for the first time. I tried to record it but my phone didn't wake up until they were almost past. Would love to take a trip in these things; it seems like good craic!
Fantastic video Stephen! My apologies for my absence here over the past few months - but it's been good to see you up on Flickr, setting aside UA-cam :) . I've been way to busy with school and sadly the channel has suffered for that - but once my exams are over in two week's time I'll be able to get back here on UA-cam again. :) Many thanks, Nathan.
No problem Stephen, also congratulations on the massive increase in subscribers recently - you're surely ascending rapidly towards the 1000 milestone! :)
That turned out really well Stevie despite the conditions. The least you deserved was a day off tomorrow but that ain't happening is it :( Ah well roll on next Friday eh :))
Thanks Danny, i'm glad you liked it, it was really strange to see something so small on the branch, but it is very cute. And sadly no i'm stuck in school today sadly to say. Looking forward to next Friday's chase of the Strand railtour?
Irish Rail Trains Unreal, they only went as far as Poyntzpass today, just as well we stayed put! Joseph only got the news as he got off the train in Dundalk :/
Great catch and very nice video! That inspection car was so tiny :-) I'm used to see bigger ones.
Best regards,
Tuukka
Thanks man, all of our inspection car are tiny and cute and have really funny horns. I'm glad you liked the video.
Brilliant video !. Love the horn lol
Thanks Rob, yeah that horn is just gas :)
Well captured of this rarely seen inspection car ...they are small compared to Network rail ..
It is quite small alright, but they are really cute in a way.
Very, very good video! Congratulations! Great shots! Thumb very high!!!! Bruno :-)
Thank You very much Bruno, I really appreciate it !

Thanks man, i'm sure that was a pain, because this little Inspection Car is very hard to catch !

Thank You Nathan. No problem at all, I understand everything your saying, I had to do the same myself there last year.

Thank You Nathan, i'm slowly getting there which gives me time to get the 1000 subscribers special made.

Thanks Larry !
Wow I've never seen any vehicles like that before in my entire life. It must be extremely rare. I wonder if it is still operating.

Jesus just as well we stayed put, I had a funny feeling they wouldn't run to Dundalk.
Aw man imagine owning that; friends and family would be abandoned 🤣

Thanks man, I actually think the inspection cars & tampers have really funny horns, then again, they are quite hard to catch as well.
