- Ok Rock Hounds ! This Is A Big Time Bucket Lister !! we get a day to dig at the Crater Of Diamonds State Park near the small rockhounding themed town of Murfreesboro Arkansas ! we had a bit of a learning curve to deal with but by mid day we had gotten it together enough to start accumulating pay dirt to search through and spent the rest of our time grabbing up what we could , then found an awesome cabin near by where a hundred other hounds have stayed ! the whole lace is made for Rockin' out , and we had a blast ! come check out the quest for diamonds !!

It is awesome to see your mom get to live out her bucket list! Digging for diamonds is hard work, but can be very rewarding. And to see your mom, more than willing to do the work, and dig for diamonds, is so wonderful. I am so glad you two are having such a good time! And those cabins look perfect and man, you can't beat the price! Wow! I can't wait to see if Mom found a diamond! I really hope that she did! Next time! Did you guys get a saruca! They are used to quickly go through your material. You put some cons in your saruca and you get the material spread out and then centered and repeat several times. Since diamonds are heavier then the material around it it will stay in the center of the screen and when you flip it over and let it set out, any diamonds will be in the center of the cons it's easier than looking by hand! Thanks Nate! I can't wait for the next episode! ❤

I’m so happy to see your mom get to dig for diamonds! We were there years ago but our visit was very short. I had to bug my husband to stop but as we were on a trip to the Four Corners to go white water rafting, this took president. 😊

Have gone there since the 60's. Never found a diamond. Finally bought my diamond in town. Since the state took over the park it hasn't been stirred very often. Was like searching in a parking lot, and they've raised entry and camping fees. I'm done, but I wishyou success.

I gathered some when my daddy passed last June.
I just recently have been sorting through the storage and sat down and wept over the sharks teeth..

Hiya Nathan, awesome video. That grading at the diamond mine with the short water lines, when it rains the dirt turns into a sticky mess, so that grading is so you can wash the mud off your feet. I have found some nice size diamond's from there, I hope you and your mother finds some nice ones too. Good luck on your hunt for some gemstones. I hope you and yours, have a awesome blessed day.

@@QuestForDetails yes I do, it's a awesome place to find minerals. If you get lucky, you can find maybe a diamond or a Arkansas River green opal .

Live in Tulsa area and been to the mine two times fall and summer. There’s a cool crystal area rock shop about one to two hours nearby . Great place to adventure.
Just in case you travel west on Rt 66, you should stop in the DW CORRELL museum in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
We're a rock, mineral, fossil, artifact, and antiques including some awesome cars. From a steam engine through the 30's. I have a lapidary shop in the back of one of the buildings I would love to show you. Maybe even cut a rock or two for you if you like.
