Really appreciate all these videos my friend! They are very helpful - I have just finished the teaching part of FM, I will be starting revision soon. I will follow your advice :)
Thanks for this, I sit this June. My last professional exam so luckily I get to sit this one on it’s own. I feel like if I could pass BST/BPT at once then I can smash this one
Oh man watching this right after my FM exam today.. didn’t practise my npv questions enough :( I was mainly focusing on valuation/hedging/WACC questions.. I’ll work again next attempt :/
Just took the FM exam today and I am stressed about my performance. It wasn't exceptionally hard but I made some mistakes in calculations when I compared results after the exam. Also the theory questions were focused on topics I didn't focus on too much during studying. I did my best to show all my working. I hope it is good enough for a pass.
Hey, I was exempt from Accounting/MI at certificate level, I'm about to start my FM/TC studies. Do you think it would be worth borrowing my colleagues MI folder to look over some content before I start my FM study or are they not really correlated? :)
Only the NPV section of MI is really relevant to FM. You will probably have a refresher module covering it at the start of your FM course. The rest of the FM exam is new content so you shouldn't be too far behind anyone else!
If cash flows take place at the end of the year then you wouldn’t inflate. However, at the beginning of the year, these cash flows would need to be inflated. Hope this answers your question.
Thank you ! I watch all your video on the exam ! They really have helped me

Can you help me categorize the 10 chapters in the FM syllabus into the three subheadings of NPV, Hedge Funds and Business Valution?

@@samtomkinson2388 perfect , Thankyou so much!
What’s the impact on the NPV if the cashflow take place at the beginning vs the end of the year? Thank you and apologies if this is a silly question!

@@hatatske this is wildly incorrect.
