The Talyllyn Railway is hosting the Awdry Extravaganza 4 on 20th-21st July 2024! Celebrating the life and works of "The Thomas the Tank Engine Man", the railway continues to inspire visitors in the same way it inspired the Reverend to include it in The Railway Series. There's plenty going on at the Talyllyn, so I personally wanted to address some important notes on how to enjoy the event safely.
This is a video I decided to make myself, not on behalf of the Awdry Ex team or TR, but as someone who has visited quite a few railways in my time! Bare in mind that for many this will be their first time visiting a heritage railway, so during such a busy weekend it's perhaps helpful to know what to expect. I understand that for some of you, this is advice you may already be aware of - good!

Genuinely the thing I look forward to most every year. my best guess is Sir Handel cos the event’s kinda centred around him, but Rusty’s on all the promo art so maybe they’ll get a new face too :)
