Same here but i started wayy too late, i started playing controller on January this year, but then i couldn't continue playing with the stickdrift and switched to kbm. I started playing on a office one with a cheap gaming mouse but i wasnt great in battle royale and played zero builds. I saw that battle royale was more popular and decided to start practicing on my building binds and just being better at builds. In March i think my dad bought me a new membrane keyboard. I fell in love with it and played for months, until i saw on tt that mechanical keyboards are better choice than membrane so i got a new red switches keyboard and from that day it was the greatest switch i ever did (btw the keyboard is 75%)

try changing you're settings in the keyboard and mouse section try some new keybinds it will make you way better at the game. i've tried it myself and it works
