Four Temperaments is one of my favorite ballets. I love every minute of it. The finale is spectacular,.
It builds from the simplicity of the first three couples stating the themes to the end where, after each temperament is danced using these themes as movements and music variations of the them, it all melts into that grand finale. I cry every time I see it.
