Hey Afro! I had the same problem with the twin boss Frogs, I went more into the story, my health could actually tank a hit or 2 on grandmaster, got a largely upgraded blaster and it's a done deal, the blaster stance is where it's at fr
Afro, you probably already know this, but you really need to upgrade your health bar. It’s the only way you can survive more than one attack from these frogs.
I don’t think I have ever laughed as much as I did at 14:04 from a Video Also I like thinking this episode like the beginning of a show simply because the frogs beat him so bad he had to retire
I feel like I have never heard him say he needs to go find more sill points or another secret boss to fight. Its either progress the frogs or the story I love it!
Don't give up! You can do it, just progress the story. Get another combat ability and try to max out whatever lightsaber forms you choose to use against them.
In this case he's not even bad honestly. These are some of the hardest enemies to beat in the game even if you're fully upgraded because they legitamately do NOT play by this games rules, they play by the previous games rules. A lot of cals abilities don't even work on them.
@@curtisnewsom6168 they weren’t even hard for me, it’s just learning the timing of the attack and how to dodge them, took me a couple of attempts but after that it was easy enough.
@@cameronshiells5598 They aren't hard once you get your method down, but that's the case for most skill based games. For example sekiro seemed insane until I got good and now it's pretty easy, the same can be said for dark souls, etc. The games are extremely hard until you get good. It's still true though, that the oggdos don't follow the rules of the game though
@@cameronshiells5598 Really no skill based game is "hard" once you get your footing, depending on your perspective. Some people may even say fighting games are easy. That doesn't mean there is NO difficulty overcoming a challenge though
Nah it’s not lmao I can beat a single OGDO first try every time on Jedi grandmaster now because I’ve practiced it so much. This took me like 2 hours on grandmaster and I just beat it again for fun lmao in like 30 minutes to make sure I wasn’t lucky
The strategy you have of the blaster and saber throw is solid. It’s what I used to beat them. Best thing to do is use saber throw first and burn through your force and use the blaster shots to replenish the force bar. Rinse and repeat. Hard I know but I worked for me after a dozen tries or so. Love the videos tho 😂. If you can beat the ape duo and sekiro with the bell you got this.
I will say, some of the hit boxes that Kal has when it comes to this fight is really weird. You end up jumping over the boss completely and still get hit.
The rancor duo was easier. It took me 7hrs. For anyone who needs tips WHEN THEY GET THE TONGUE READY TURN YOUR CAMERA OFF OF THEM. If they go off screen mid animation they stop the tongue grab. Also jump dash is the best way to avoid many of the unblockables. Try to mix in force push since it stuns them. Blaster stance focused shot can be chained for 1/4 damage to both health bars at the begining of the fight. Definitely try to focus one down.
Blaster is the best stance for these fights since focused shot doesn't take bullets and will hit one opponent even without force energy. You can keep pressure on the boss without getting too close and these frogs have fat hit boxes.
I understand your frustration with the game. I felt the same about the first one (Fallen Order), which features the same sort of attacks by enemies. I discovered accidentally the method that is useful in defeating bosses. You literally attack them just as soon as you see the bosses turn that "unblockable" color. That's right, you can't block the attack but you can still attack them and then dodge. There's always that brief period when the boss turns the color and then attacks. It's right then that you attack them and it does damage them. The game expects you to dodge but not attack first. Try it with the toads, see if it works.
Recite the sith Peace is lie there is only power Through power i gained strength Through strength i gained victory Through victory my chains are broken the force shall free me
Best way I found if you do it crazy early like I did(no blaster stance) 1. Focus one at a time until it’s dead. 2. Dual blade with throw skill. 3.stims recover force power. Especially on grandmaster as you die in one hit basically any way. 4. Dodge red bite, jump the tongue and lunge. 5. Keep the one you want to kill between you and the other one. 6. Always have eyes on both. 7. Patience. Don’t get greedy. Once one is down the other one gets really fucking aggro. 8. Or just use the blaster stance as it cancels the red moves.
Dude I recently beat the game on the Master difficulty (second hardest difficulty) and when I tell u that I was mad that I was like 2 hits from beating it on like my 15/16th attempt and lost to some BULLshit, I lost it.
The best thing to do is to keep progressing the main story, upgrading your skill tree and the cross guard is probably your best weapon because it has the best defense and it hits hard. Also, jedi grandmaster mode is way too difficult tbh lol, you need like perfect parry on every encounter and it's not even worth it.
No ones taking advantage of saber throws its crazy, people also don't realize that you regain force when you attack stuff and you can also get an upgrade where you regain force back every time you use a stim.
I beat them on Jedi Master using the Blaster upgrade qnd some perks you get later by doing side content. It actually knocks them out of their Unblockable and regular attacks when you charge a shot with the upgrade. I used it to shut down the tongue attack or close range attacks as a panic button.
Every time these things come in for a chomp, you can parry and poke, if their head turns sideways, they will chomp twice in a row, you can parry both, any red attack you dodge left/right. The red jump attacks, count 1,2, dodge. After every dodge/parry, get one hit. The blaster can help to stun/disrupt red attacks if you have the timing.
Pro tip for anyone playing this game now: Play more of the story till you get to Jedha, do some missions, get the air dash skill, and the fight gets easier my guy, I used the double bladed saber first run through, beginning to end, it was hella fun, love watching your gameplay, makes my day. 😆😃
Large enemies are pretty bad and putting two of them together is just a d1ck move. Putting 2 exact same bosses in one room when they are programmed to be fought 1 on 1 is bad game design. Haven't we learned anything from Elden Ring and its awful duo fights?
@theelectricprince8231 I beat the boss fight multiple times and I have my own strategy with ricochet special shot. I'm not talking about difficulty, though. I'm saying the boss fight is bad. Remember when we could slow or pull out the tongue then slice it off. This should not be that hard. It’s so frustrating
Yo Afro. If you love jump attacks, there is a skill for the crossguard where you can jump and do a shock wave. Same with single blad
Afro, you probably already know this, but you really need to upgrade your health bar. It’s the only way you can survive more than one attack from these frogs.
I don’t think I have ever laughed as much as I did at 14:04 from a Video
Also I like thinking this episode like the beginning of a show simply because the frogs beat him so bad he had to retire
Just beat this on Grandmaster yesterday. The missions, the nightmares, they're finally over
Kudos to the discord friend that baited afro to the toads. Thanks for the content mate.
I feel like I have never heard him say he needs to go find more sill points or another secret boss to fight. Its either progress the frogs or the story I love it!
Don't give up! You can do it, just progress the story. Get another combat ability and try to max out whatever lightsaber forms you choose to use against them.
You're the best, so funny, such good content
I tried to play the first one. Instead of jedi focused star wars game, I got a fucking mario game. I'm never touching this one.
After spending 4 hours suffering in this fight, seeing Afro experience the same suffering was cathartic.
Loving this series so far...looking forward for more😂😂😂
I’m not gon lie, I love how bad Afro can be sometimes. The more mechanics he forgets to use, the more I can enjoy the game when I get to play myself😂
Aye learning from others mistakes love to see it.
Apparently, this fight is "easier" than just fighting one
Try telling that to Afro 😂
Surprisingly lol
Nah it’s not lmao I can beat a single OGDO first try every time on Jedi grandmaster now because I’ve practiced it so much. This took me like 2 hours on grandmaster and I just beat it again for fun lmao in like 30 minutes to make sure I wasn’t lucky
It isn't. As soon as you kill one of them the other becomes just as agressive as the single ogdo fight.
@@rightguy200000 I just shot and killed one and the other stayed back, gun stance is effective at keep away. (I also had gun damage+ perk on)
So happy to finally see u jumping over it’s attacks. People fight this thing and just forget the jump button exists
Nah the walking away in silence to go fish in another game KILLED ME LMAO
The strategy you have of the blaster and saber throw is solid. It’s what I used to beat them. Best thing to do is use saber throw first and burn through your force and use the blaster shots to replenish the force bar. Rinse and repeat. Hard I know but I worked for me after a dozen tries or so.
Love the videos tho 😂. If you can beat the ape duo and sekiro with the bell you got this.
Oh but there is the other pair still.....😊
Afro is really out here torturing himself
I will say, some of the hit boxes that Kal has when it comes to this fight is really weird. You end up jumping over the boss completely and still get hit.
I've never seen a game reward you with an a** whooping before 😂
I did that first try somehow. Played on normal difficulty and the enemy AI was so bad that only 1 was active at a time
bro i saw the thumbnail, and i said bro someone did beat this boss, and it took them like a day and a half
It’s just funny that you jump instead of dodging 😂 love your energy Afro
Last tip the blaster parry CAN PARRY EVERYTHING BUT THE TONGUE so if your confident on the timing you can go that route.
DO NOT DO THIS ON JEDI GRAND MASTER. THERE IS NO POINT YOUR JUST TORTURING YOURSELF!
DO NOT TRY THIS FIGHT UNTIL AFTER YOUVE GOTTEN MOST HEALTH UPGRADES. THEY CAN AND WILL 2 TO 3 SHOT THE FULL HEALTHBAR IN JEDI MASTER!
This how I felt fighting those berserker sisters in GOW ragnarok
Bro never stop making these videos bro ur a legend
This fight almost made me turn to the dark side tbh
I understand your frustration with the game. I felt the same about the first one (Fallen Order), which features the same sort of attacks by enemies. I discovered accidentally the method that is useful in defeating bosses. You literally attack them just as soon as you see the bosses turn that "unblockable" color. That's right, you can't block the attack but you can still attack them and then dodge. There's always that brief period when the boss turns the color and then attacks. It's right then that you attack them and it does damage them. The game expects you to dodge but not attack first. Try it with the toads, see if it works.
Is it me or does Afro forget he can use force powers too because that would help A LOT
lmao!!!!! the way you walked to the meditation spot, I coughed so hard!!!
The trajectory bullets can also stun even if they charge to hit you with a heavy attack
@afrosenju I completed feel your frustration completely. I am currently on the rayvis fight
Recite the sith
Peace is lie there is only power
Through power i gained strength
Through strength i gained victory
Through victory my chains are broken the force shall free me
Best way I found if you do it crazy early like I did(no blaster stance)
I'm so happy the camera worki g so we can witness all of his emotions.
What really pisses me off is that they're not even epic bosses, they're just god damn frogs💀
It's an optional troll fight 😂😂
@@theelectricprince8231 So what? It's still badly designed.
@@CinematicSeriesGaming play the story, get air dash and the rage power. Then it's over
@theelectricprince8231 I beat the boss fight multiple times and I have my own strategy with ricochet special shot. I'm not talking about difficulty, though. I'm saying the boss fight is bad. It's a lazy duo fight where both bosses are basically the same and they don't have any interesting duo mechanics.
@@CinematicSeriesGaming it's a troll fight.
It's not like Sekiro where you get prayer beads or battle memories, it's just one skill point like any other force tear.
dang i like the ding sound that was used at 14:03; i dont remember that sound being there
This is a perfect example of a saying I have. That saying is, “There’s challenging, and there’s bull****. This is bull****.” Especially because of that tongue attack that one shots you and is so wonky.
the higher Afro blood pressure goes up the more funny it is!
