How can you cover so much of the net and still give up so many goals? NLL goalies are some of the worst athletes in sports. Put an NHL goalie in their and you have a guaranteed championship.
More possible angles for the ball to come from then a puck In hockey most coming from low to high, there are exceptions obviously nowadays, with some cool stuff people do in hockey In La Crosse, you can shoot at a downward angle from 7 feet up if you’re 6 feet tall person right over the shoulder if the goalie gets too far out of his net it’s easy to get it over Another thing to consider is that in professional lacrosse they make the Nets wider than every other level below it. That was done to make the game more high scoring. So when players come to pro from just a level below, even a lot of the times, there’s more to shoot at which makes it harder for the goalies and easier for the players
@@jeremisaiah8341 Sorry I grew up playing field lacrosse, but I gotta admit at this point even I don't understand why the goalie still holds a stick. I barely see them use it. They just try and tank the shots with their body. They might as well just block the shot with their body and pick the ball up and toss it to one of their players lol.
@@Dylandesuu The problem with this video is it really only shows the goals so you cant really see the goalies making saves. I would compare box goalies more with hockey goalies than field goalies. They are similar in that they have sticks, and use them to save the puck in their 5-hole, but their bodies are the main part of them making saves.
