I visited Jordan and had a great time there. Full of adventure, great historical sites such as Petra and Jerash. I found this commercial with many sites from Jordan, enjoy!

The country of Jordan is a 100% western invention. Historically, there has never been a distinct state in that region, and it certainly was never called Jordan. For most of history it was just considered part of wider Syria, which was lumped together with Lebanon and Pakestine.
WARNING TO TRAVELERS if you are female between the ages 13-40 you need to be prepared for the people in this country. The men can be real animals sometimes. during my 1 week stay i was sexually harrased several times. 1 was when we dropped our car keys and i stayed by the car while my mom and sis searched. i was surrounded by maby 15 guys in the ages 12-20 who took pictures of me and touched me on (yeah u know the places). another was in the car while picking up a hitchhiker who touched me to...
Now I'm sure of one thing ,, men in Jordan whether they were animals or not , fear the Executive arms of their government (police, state security ,,etc.) .. in the meanwhile, Jordanian government fears your governments .. Now this "chain of fear" should have kept you safe if you were smart enough, obviously your not d:

Am an American and lived there for 7 years, it was the best 7 years of my life. I loved living there. Jordan is a very special country.
