Francesco is the bomb....you must have so much fun...delighted to see the poppies...only had two come up as the rain must have washed the seeds away. what a fun sale...I would have gone nuts with the tins...thanks to you both so much.
Once I explained to Francesco what ‘the bomb’ means (not with an -er at the end 😄, or the bomma like on a boat) he was quite happy! The poppies here are sooo cute, you just see them randomly out the car or train window - I was surprised to see them so early in the year. Great sale, we will return! Have a great day Mary!
Hello😊, Had to laugh when I saw the onyx grapes. When I first visited the Olympic Peninsula, the curator of the local museum took me to see the remnants of a prairie where he grew up. But first he had me visit his home where his wife showed me her collection of a cornecopia of many, I mean a huge collection of Italian onyx fruits. The flea market was fun to see. What a covenient way to organize an event. It is a good thing that all European cars are small. You both exercised such great strength in keeping your wits about you. There were many tempting things to buy. Be safe out on the roads.
Thank you Madline! I can’t even imagine a giant collection of onyx fruits - how to even display them? The sale was a lot of fun and not far away, so you never know, we could be back there. Have a great day!
$645 for that silver tray...ouch! But $350 for the furniture set..YES PLEASE!!! I think that wooden mini bar would have to come with me if I saw that at a flea market...what a wonderful piece that was❤❤❤ I hope there will be more car boot sales for you to visit this summer...it seems like an awesome event to do major treasure hunting!
Lol you have exactly the same reactions as me! I almost fell over when she said 645 euros! The only reason the wooden mini bar isn’t here with me is space 😆
Looks like you had a lovely morning out with so many beautiful finds. The silver tray was a shocker but some of the glass likely rivaled its price. I say it every time but I would truly go broke shipping things back to Canada. The two of you are very sweet together, such a good pairing. Thank you for letting us tag along. 😊 PS I "hit the campanello" 😄
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I could have loaded up on 5-10 euro frames, but Francesco stopped me…can’t wait for next time! Have a wonderful day!

Hilarious when the stallholder weighed the silver plate tray as if it were solid silver, and gave you a solid price!
As if I were ever going to pay that price 😄
Thanks for watching, have a great week!
